- Hey guys! We have the next download campaign coming out in the next few weeks and I thought I would put out what I thought were the best choices for the free SSR ticket. Please note this is just one man's opinion and I recommend you do as much research as possible before making a final decision.

I'm going for Artoria purely for Waifu>Meta. She is my favorite character and I started playing the game last fall so this is a good chance.
That's respectable lol. Besides, Artoria is actually pretty good (and fun) once her buff rolls out in another year or so

@Igor Dzienis I just started playing the Global version last fall as I started getting into the Anime Series. Never really cared about the meta or what was going on. Outside of me seeing people like Skadi and Castoria. I'm mainly interested in the story and just having characters I enjoy.
So I've only been playing the game for around 5 months. I appreciate the information and I'm gonna look up that Servant now.
@Igor Dzienis I looked her up. Since I'm purely FTP I am gonna make sure I save for her after Castoria. Since I will take the good supports especially if I like their designs. I'm not against Meta at all its more just if I have the chance for someone I like even if they are not meta I'm choosing the one I like. Thanks again!
as much as I needed an AoE lancer, SSR, ST Rider, and Ruler, I'm picking Mordred!
I know Artoria will be far stronger with the upcoming anniversary buff, but Mordred's trifas outfit is far more tantalizing.

Hahaha! Finally, the Free SSR Ticket is arriving soon! Picking Waver nonetheless cause more ammo, more smiles upon my face. Can't go wrong with a sacrifice that's meant for the greater good.

I'm getting the fox waifu this time because I already have Waver.
I'll pass on Jack because I have gramps and Kama. I can pass up Dio as well because of Lolivinci and Drake, and Ushiwaka's impending strengthening quest.
If I can get castoria on my NA account as well, summer musashi will further shine on my farming team.
Yeah fox waifu is a good choice. I see a lot of people sleeping on her because Castoria is coming out, but honestly that just feels like more of a reason TO WANT Tamamo lol. Min-maxed art's teams are insane
@@Yojimaki I have both Castoria and Tamamo on my jp account and Summer Hokusai for ST, Summer Musashi, SSR Hokusai and Habetrot destroy every farming node
This is a horrible dilemma if you have neither Waver and/or Tamamo
At that point just pick whatever character you like the most lol. You're not really wanting for meta units at that point
Jeanne is a really good pick, surprised she didn't make the list. She fills out a lot of my comp for challenge quests and running her, Castoria, and a support Tamamo is OP for looping and survivability-probably clear every fight in the game with this comp pretty much.
Jeanne is a great unit, but she's also very niche. I don't think it's a great recommendation for newer players (which the video is more geared towards.) Veteran players generally have a better understanding of their accounts and what they lack, so the "best option" for them is a lot more variable
@@Yojimaki it depends on what you really need as a new player. If you grab Emiya or Marie Antoinette you have some pretty decent wave clearers and don't need someone like Artoria or Mordred. If you are having trouble with busses then having someone like Jeanne would work well, especially if you are summoning for Castoria during the anniversary-which is likely the case for almost every player joining FGO during this celebration.

I’ve been genuinely torn between Artoria, Jack, and Waver for months. AOE Sabers are a bit of a weakness for me, since I have only Saber Lily there, but 3Ting Lancer nodes doesn’t seem nearly as important as what the other two provide. I don’t like a lot of the low star Assassins, just Serenity and Corday, so Jack is tempting because I don’t have anyone else. Sure, there aren’t a ton of Rider bosses I have to face going forward, and I have Super Orion for neutral damage if there are, but I also want Jack to cover that last missing gold spot on my support list. I know the merits of Waver, but I’m not sure when I’d get use out of him, and he’s a material sink compared to someone like Jack, since I already have several Casters I’m working on. I have access to double Merlin and double Skadi right now, and will have double Castoria come anniversary. There’s so much thought that’s going into this for me, with a bit of a newer undeveloped account, but one with a decent roster for only being ~6 months old and having one lottery.
Waver becomes less useful the more specialized supports you have. He'd be kinda nice for Super Orion since he's a crit support, but if you have access to double Merlin already it's not really that important. I think objectively speaking Jack is probably the best pick for you. Artoria isn't a bad servant, but AoE sabers aren't exactly rare and it's fairly likely you'll get spooked by one or you will roll for one of the future ones
I’m in a similar boat with no good assassins, so I’m going for Jack. I have all the materials I need to fully ascend her and get her skills to 9/9/9 and I’m also going to be going hard for Castoria, but am LACKING the materials I need to max another caster, so getting Waver would be silly since I have almost none of the materials for him currently, and even when I get more I’d want to dump them into Castoria, not him. I also personally prefer Tamamo (for waifu reasons) if I was going to get a caster. I’ll probably get one of the two of them next year if I don’t see them in my box before then, but this ticket is most likely going to Jack. Judging from what you said, I think it’d be the best pick for you too, but really just go for what you want most. I’d like to complete my Apocrypha lineup, so Jack helps towards that goal for me too.
was conflicted between taking jack or seiba with this first SSR ticket, but then i managed to miraculously get jack during recent apocrypha rerun so here i go, my first ever 5* aoe saber. going to pick ozy with the 2nd SSR ticket next year

all entries make sense are have very reasonable explanation as to why they have the spot
i'd put tammy on 2 instead of 5... but the point remains... very good list and very useful tips for newer players/accounts!

The reason Tamamo is only 5 is because her usefulness steadily declines as new units come out. Like I said she's never useless, but after Castoria comes out you really only use her as a plugsuit backup (and once Oberon comes out he's typically better in that role)
@@Yojimaki i disagree on the tammy take... i think she gets better with castoria, not worst
more and more units have powerfull skills .... sometimes more powerfull then NP's (castoria, oberon, light koyas)... and tamammo's entire thing is healing and CDR... the more strong skills a unit has, the more you want to use tamamo with them
still on the castoria point... castoria ONLY dosent do 2 things: give NP damage up & heal, the 2 things tamamo does... and again her skills are the best in the game... meaning with tamamo you get to use the best skills in the game more often
but really great list overall... i'm just honestly tired of the amount of *awful* whale-oriented regurgitated opinions in this community... *certain* content creators for FGO are so out of touch that its quite insane people actually listen to them.... so its refreshing to see someone having grounded and honestly... not bat shit insane opinions for once
This was a good breakdown and completely fair on all of it.
I'm still pondering it even now to be honest. Mostly since I have the really key characters that I could pick. So it's either getting NP levels on Jack, Ozy, Tamamo, etc. Or I just go and get someone I don't necessarily need to have but just generally like such as Achilles or maybe Europa.
My philosophy is that it's never worth going out of your way to get extra NP levels on permanent servants. If you play the game long enough they'll more than likely spook you at some point, so I feel like it's better to pick up someone you don't already have
@@Yojimaki I definitely know what you mean. The logic is sound and the power of spooks can reach silly levels in some cases.
Although I think there are always exceptions. Some servants are just that hard to get even being permanent. All these years and the only reason I have Tamamo right now is thousands (actual thousands) of quartz across multiple banners. So if getting her NP up was a huge deal then I'd probably use the ticket on her since waiting for a spook feels very unlikely. But since it's a 500 heal...I probably won't.
In this case I'll probably go new. Since the permanents I have here are either already have good NP levels or have been outclassed by limited servants I have at good NP levels.
For me I have most of the servants already. Though getting ether Tamano or Enkidu would be the good choice objectively.
Still Xang Yu, Bradamante, or Europia are also temping choices.
Xang Yu: A totally metal design and I have Yu Mei Ren so I’d be reuniting the couple.
Europia: because who can say no to a sweet hot granny with a colossus.
Bradamante: good AOE lancer, and the booty to match.
Tbh if you have most of the units already then you're probably at a point where it doesn't really matter which one you get. Really you're just getting them for collection purposes, so it kinda just comes down to whoever you like the most

Planning to pick up Mordred! I have Reines and I think that she will be good enough after her buff to use instead.
Yeah Waiver and Reines are more or less interchangeable after her buffs (her being a rider is a bit annoying due to their high star absorption, but not to the point I recommend Waiver.) Honestly Mordred seems like a solid pick

Seeing as I just pulled Artoria Lancer Alter and have Ereshkigal as my AOE Lancers… going with OG Saber Artoria.

About what I expect, which is to say that there's a good selection of non-limited SSRs that are pretty busted any way you look at it. Personally going for OG Saber as my sabers have a distinct lack of any charge which does make things awkward quite often.... Already have waver so I just want to say is that thoughts, prayers, etc. etc. to the person out there that's gonna pick waver and then get another copy of him from a spook soon after.
Karna all day. Finally getting my AOE Lancer. I know Enkidu also fills that role but I just like Karna more lol
Well Enkidu is ST lol, so if you wanted AoE specifically Karna is your man
I have been using Karma as my boss killer for a while now and he is great
I'm picking Waver because not only is he one of Husbandos in the Fate Series he's also ridiculously powerful as well

Even if you don't get spooked by Vlad, we'll have a 2nd SSR ticket you can use on Vlad if you somehow don't have him by then (because I swear, you never get spooked by the units you actually want)
Might want Tamamo for animation plus she’s the last of the big 4 I don’t have
But I also want Karna for I lack a good AOE lancer, Kagetora takes the spot for ST, but Romulus might be coming soon tho
Yeah there's a lot of really good AoE lancers coming out in the next year/year and a half. Vritra and Fairy Lancelot in particular are really food (and Lancelot fills both the role of ST and AoE)
Got NP3 Drake so Ozzy is not really on the radar, got Gramps so Jack is not really needed, already got Tamamo so for me the best choice is Waver and I already see that 2 months after the ticket I get spooked by him just like on JP.
To be fair, you could get spooked by anyone who's on the ticket 😂
Waver spook isn't bad as some other spooks tbh. Atleast he gets more defense down with np lvl rather than some shit effect kek
Def Tamamo for me, i was lucky i got waver as my first(or 2nd, not sure) ever SSR. She would pair well with my NP2 max skill, almost 2k fou, lvl 100 grailed Kiara with MLB Black Grail. Oh and, fox waifu. I am thinking of Achilles though cuz carrot husbando, but my np2 ozy says otherwise.
Yeah Kiara is going to really enjoy having Tamamo. Between Tamamo and Waver your Kiara is going to be a force to be reckoned with lol

Yeah with Castoria upcoming Tamamo is a better choice..plus she pairs really well with Waver and Berserker Musashi who's also just over the horizon... that being said my NP3 Achilles is my favorite character to use along with my Super Orion...so hard to wring with either...I guess it all depends on how much you enjoy looping and/or stalling

I think it’s Jeanne for me. My box specifically needs a healer that can cleanse debuffs, and provide invincibility. It hurts me to say that, being a Tamamo Lover and a Waver NEEDER. Maybe next time if there is one…
EDIT: I’m getting Tamamo or Waver, most likely Tamamo because Castoria is gonna give me what I need and Tamamo is life. I heard Waver is getting a buff but ngl I’m not sure if I’ll need him after I get Castoria…
There's two I'm thinking about.
Tamammo cause of her arts buff, plus I love her playstyle with the one turn skill reduction on her NP, AND ALSO she's adorable
The second one is Enkidu, because he's really good and ALSO he's adorable and I love him.
Third one is Ozymandias, but tbh I've already got Grailed Mandricardo for me Rider servant, so he doesn't really bring anything I don't already have. But he is awesome.
Most likely gonna go for Enkidu, especially as I already have a Waver so I don't need to use him here
If you already have Waver I think Enkidu is (objectively) the right choice. You should pick whatever servant you like the most, but it seems like that's Enkidu anyways lol

Going with either Anastasia or Ozymandias. I already have Tamamo and don't really mind not having Waver.
That's fair. At the end of the day the servant you choose is only as useful if you plan to use them lol
My tips for choosing which SSR you should have
1. Waver is a must have if you didnt have him, good all time support
2. Tamamo, similar with waver have healing,art card boost,cd reduce&np boost
3. Arturia, the icon itself and gonna have lot of buff in the future update
4. Enkidu, strong&durable ST lancer
5. Jack, same as enkidu
6. Achilles, tank AOE rider
The rest if for collectible purpose
People sleep hard on Artoria and Sanzang.
Sanzang is one of the best ST units for farming level 90+ event nodes. She is incredibly useful in pretty much every single lotto the game has released post-Castoria, having good NP damage, massive battery, buffing NP gain for arts comps and, later, buffing Attack up for everybody (including Buster comps with Oberon or mixed comps with Taigong or even Helena).
Artoria is the strongest AND cheapest Buster Saber for farming both pre and post Hikarikoyan.
I'd pick both of them over servants like Jack and Enkidu. While both are extremely good, Enkidu is a soloist that can be just picked from a friend, meaning you don't need to have your own Enkidu 99% of the time he is actually good. Jack is an excelent Assassin, and she is valubable thanks to most 4 star Assassins not being that great, but if you have Shiki there's literally no reason to go for NP1 Jack over her, especially post-Castoria. Also, if you happen to get Castoria, Hundred Faces is more than enough for the vast majority of times you need an Assassin.
i have sieg, Siegfried, amasuke shirou, Gilgamesh, jalter swimsuit, elizebeth lancer and few other 5 star servants what i am asking is what servant should i pick since i just started the 2 lostbelt quest and what is a good long term servant
You'd probably benefit the most from Waver tbh. The difficulty is going to start ramping up soon and even if you have good DPS units they're going to struggle without the aid of some supports

Mordred can wait. I mean, sure, her Trifas outfit is lewd-inducing, and I totally got that outfit in the Sieg rerun because it is lewd-inducing, but I have plenty of decent AOE Buster Sabers, even if none of them are SSRs.
So that leaves me to plug holes what I don't have, none of which are met precisely by this SSR ticket (except for the aforementioned lack of AOE Buster Sabers, as well as zero ST Buster Riders, AOE Quick Sabers, and AOE Quick Berserkers).
Yes, I'm saying 2019's SR ticket had a way better roster for my purposes... and I chose Saber Lancelot over Chiron. Over Herakles, Over Nero. Over... gahhh...

I'm really deciding between Mordred and Waver. I need an AoE saber since I only have Nero and Bride Nero for sabers, but Waver is such a good servant to have (I don't have Skadi)

I don't think either are bad choices. Waver is definitely the objectively better choice, but the "correct" choice is whichever one helps you enjoy the game more. Worst comes to worst you can get Mordred with the next SSR ticket

@@Yojimaki I know right! This ticket is especially for everyone whos been unlucky when it comes to summoning him... finally everyone on my friends list will have one as well as me to pair with my Tamomo
Waver will be my choice. I'm already at LB2 and all I got is mostly Damage Dealers and no good Buffers. I want Jeanne D'Arc but at this point Waver would be a good help for my Jalter to Buster all the way to prob LB3 or 4.
I go with waver because I just use hans in caster I already have mordred, jack, and Achilles f2p btw
Hans is a good budget support, but Waver is a pretty significant upgrade. All three of the units you listed are going to benefit greatly from Waver
I'm f2p since the start and lucky enough to have all the 5 recommended, just pulled Jeanne with like 500sq because I really wanted her, but had I known this, would have saved :'(.
Who else would you recommend to get? Besides those five as 5* goes, Saber I have Beni/Shiki, Archer Gilga/Orion/Ishtar, Lancer just got Romulus :), Rider Drake/Achilles, Assassin Hime/Hassan, Caster Merlin/Skadi, Zerker Raikou/Xian, Moon Cancer no one (would like BB Summer).
So from the list maybe a Lancer like Karna? Or another Saber AoE like Artoria?
As someone who always get DPS casters... I will go with waver... Kinda feel the pain of not having a support type caster when I did the last singularity 😆.

I know this is kind of late but I wanted to ask. I have merlin and skadi and fox lady caster. Would waver be needed since I am saving for caster armoire? Sorry for bad english.
If you really want another servant, you're probably okay skipping Waver. He's still really nice to have, but I think you should get whatever servant you like the most
Tamamo, Jack or Ozzy, I want Tamamo because I just love her, she stole my heart in Extra and even if I already have an NP2 Waver I would still like to have her since shes dodged me at every opportunity -w- (dropped almost 600 sq when she first came to global with not a single ssr servant) I don't have any ssr Assassins which would be my reason to get Jack, and the same applies to Ozzy, my only ssr rider is Drake, I might just end up choosing him though just because of that.
I Don't have Merlin , Skadi and Waver they avoid me in Gacha so i will pick Waver I really need wide NP Battery to shot NP fast

There will be another Free SSR ticket next year in 6 Anniversary celebration. You can pick Artoria by then if she hasn't spooked you yet.
It's really hard for me to either choose Altria/Artoria or Waver (I'm choosing because Meta, not waifu). I'm a new player to fgo and I doesn't have any high rarity/good Saber class servant (My highest rarity servant is Archer Gilgamesh, the only 5 star, that I got from the banner yesterday)
I kinda want to choose Altria/ Artoria because the possible future buff she will get (that what some fgo youtuber said...), good for a new player like me, and to fill my Saber class servant. But Waver is really good too for supporting my team against boss and for the future if i start farming for quartz, I can't choose between this two....

Lol...dont forget that Kagetori is about to get a re-release as well as Consort Yu Lancer as optimum welfare servants...and next year Erishkigal gets that huge buff along woth Caines... who's decent in her own right...I tried for Ekidu last rate up because I needed a good single target lancer who wasn't Cu lol...but I wasn't too disappointed I couldn't snag him/her knowing the plethora of Lancers incoming and that with Castoria the meta will be all Arts anyways
I got achilles and jack...also with Salter after getting my 14th day sq😆 decided to roll one multi on story banner. I'm new yet I feel i should get waver😅
Congrats on getting Archilles and Jack! Honestly Waver would work really well with both Jack and Archilles. They're both quick servants, so they generate a lot of crit stars which works well with Waver's critical damage up buff. Plus the 50% NP battery makes it so Archilles is a decent farmer (at least for a newer account)

There's a 2nd ticket we get for the 6th anniversary (a little over a year from now.) You could use that to get whichever unit you don't with this ticket
Jack, Ozy or Enkidu.... I need any of them for different purposes for my teams.... But later this month I am pulling for Okitan in Guguda 4 rerun so Enkidu should be?
I have all casters except Waver, I think I'll pick Europa.
Im probably getting waver cause i saw all the characters i wanted before i can get them later and waver works well with amakusa since he gets his np fast
Yeah Waver is super great for almost any unit. Ignoring all his buffs, the 50% NP battery by itself makes him very transformative to other units
I wanna get waver but i also want achilies or jack since i have no decent assasin and rider this is a pain to decide on who to get
well since i'm a madlad and i didn't even start the game yet i'll reroll until i get etther waver and tamamo and i'll take the other one from the ticket i'll just spam friend support and low rarity beginner friendly servant

One thing i wasn't sure on is can this be used to NP2 and existing servant or can you only pick a new servant? If you can do the former than it's a toss up for me to NP2 Enkidu or Ozzy
In pretty sure you can use it to get NP2. I don't see any reason why they would bar your from getting someone you already have

My Account lacks Single Targets Ssrs however I don't have Waver so I'll go with him. my 2nd choice would have to be Ozzy since he's pretty good and I don't have an Ssr Rider.
I think you're making the right choice. It's a lot easier to get spooked by a ST SSR than it is to randomly get a support. If you play long enough you'll end up with plenty of ST damage dealers

Im in such a dilemma. I mean, I already have good enough servants for almost each class. So I’m either gonna go for Jeanne or for Artoria. Tbf, it’s hella unfair they’re giving these top tier waifu’s away for free…. I need more than just one.
You get another ticket for 6th anniversary, so technically you do get more than one 😂 but yeah, if you already have a decent servant for each role it just comes down to whoever you like more

so I'm quite new to this game, I'm on the pirate singularity, I have sieg as a 4 star, Astolfo (rider), a saber who's blonde with a rapier who's name I do NOT remember, and my only 5 star is one on this list, he's the berserker who's (yet again) name I don't remember, I'm thinking of getting Ozymandias, but the thing is I don't know how to actually get a ticket, could someone tell me?
The event hasn't happened yet. It's for a download campaign that should start in the next week or two. I think you just need to beat France to get the ticket, so you should be good to go.
Just make sure you get the servant you unlock with the ticket to bond 5 (that's the requirement for keeping the servant. They should give you plenty of time to actually do so.) If you want more info you can Google "FGO JP 20 million Download Campaign"
Got really really really lucky with story banner on new year that I toss a ticket in because Im crazy and got Tamamo Li shuwen (assasin) and Waver (well I already have Waver but hey that my 3rd Waver = Esport Waver)

hello, I just started the game 3 months ago and I really have no idea who to choose with the ticket since I want to avoid taking Weaver because I already have several supports like tamamo, Lan ling and okéanos. My main servants on my account are gilgamesh (archer) tamamo-no-mae, atalante alter, emiya (archer), astolfo (rider), Frankenstein, Cu Chulainn (lancer) and Chiron. If anyone can tell me which server would be the best to take let me know.
If you're set on not taking Waver, then your best option is probably a ST DPS. All three I mentioned in the video should be good. Jack and Enkidu are probably the best for solely filling the DPS role, but if you want a support hybrid you could also take Ozy
Since I am new in fgo I don't even have a 4 star rider so ozzy will be my pick
Welcome to the community 😁 I think Ozzy is a really solid choice if he's your first 5-star. He's really self sufficient so you can get a lot of mileage out of him

Personally I'd pick Enkidu, but they're both really good units. I think you'll be happy with whichever one you pick (plus you can pick the other with our next 5-star ticket)

I got lucky this month and got both enkidu and mordred so its either fox waifu or waver for me
Personally I'd lean more towards Waver (especially since you just got Mordred and Enkidu,) but honestly either are going to be pretty stellar choices

I have no idea who to choose. I just started playing, and my go-to team is Sei, Achilles, [a friend], then Carmilla, Bedivere, and Cu Chulainn. I have Medea and I love her, and I have Castor Gil but I can't figure out how to use him. So I have a good saber, good lancer, good archer, a Caster that I love but she's weak in the offense and support department, an Assassin who's... okay... and I don't really ~ do ~ Berserkers. They're just so fragile, I don't know how to use them. I guess I need to choose Waver, then? It seems the smart move. I just never even use him when I see him in support; I almost always take an offensive servant to help round out my F2P team.
Yes, you need a Waver. Waver is kind of a necessity if you don't have any big support like Skadi, Merlin, or the upcoming Castoria. He can get into any meta team. He charge DPS fast with his 50 percent battery. And he can provide defense, buff attack, and get crits up.
And I too will get Waver from this ticket. Playing a little over couple of months since last year, my goal as a F2P is getting all the big supports first then DPS second. Because, any 1 - 3 stars can shine a lot if I have those supports. I already have Skadi, Waver will be my second, then I'll be going all in for Merlin in next summer banner. I'll hold off for Castoria for now since I'm sure most people will go for her. So, I'll find her in my friend list for sure.

Yeah it's really nice we have a 2nd 5-star select ticket in the future. Makes it so a lot of people can get Waver now and then get their favorite units a year later

You need to beat Orleans to get the ticket I think. After you exchange the ticket you have to get your new servant to bond 5 to permanently keep them (I think you have like 2 months to do that, shouldn't be an issue)

Can I ask for opinion? I'm new to this game and my strongest servant is Heracles rn. So should I pick waver or other servant? If I didn't pick waver, I can just use someone's waver in my support right?
It really depends if you want to invest in the short-term or the long-term. Short-term you probably want an AoE servant to help you with farming (Drake would be a pretty good candidate for that.)
Long-term Waver is your best bet. He'll be an improvement to any other unit you get in the future. While you could use someone else's Waver, that prevents you from bringing another support instead (and usually supports like Merlin, Skadi and Tamamo are more impactful to a unit's raw damage. They're all type specific though and can only be used with units of a certain card type. Waver is good because the usefulness of his kit isn't restricted to a certain card type. So in your situation the best bang for your buck would be to own a Waver and then borrow someone else's Skadi, Merlin or Tamamo)
However the most important thing is that you're enjoying your time playing the game. So if there's a specific unit you want it's definitely worth considering them too if you think that will bring you the most enjoyment
Tbh, Waver is rarity in support list right now, especially when Castoria comes in the upcoming months. So, I think, owning a Waver will make us more flexible in choosing the support that we really need for a certain fight.

really having trouble deciding between Nightingale, Tama or Europa. I don't have any 5 star zerkers so i think nightingale would be cool to have, but everyone is saying go for Tama if you have waver which i do. Europa is more of a just "she's cute" pick
It would also be a good idea to make sure you have the right materials for the class of whichever unit you feel like picking.
Im REALLY stuck between Enkidu and Waver
I dont have either, so obv Waver battery, buffs, and np are great but i dont have a 5 star Lancer, let alone a powerful buster ST one (i have the welfare Kagetora np5 but idk still feels hard to keep her alive)
Maybe i just need a better stall comp/sustain, i tend to glass cannon most things so challenge quests are sometimes an issue
Well, the Nero/Gilfest Chalkenge quests absolutely wrecked me and i was so sad i coulndt beat most to get the rewards T_T
Don't you have Cu? He's comparable with Enkidu imo if raised. Hanako Green proved that. He beat many CQ with him. His survivability is one of the best in the game.

While NP2 Enkidu is really good, I personally would lean more towards Waver. Waver is probably going to improve Enkidu's performance more than just having NP2 AND picking Waver means you're upgrading all your other DPS units, not just Enkidu

So I’m a newbie f2p who only started playing fgo less than a month ago, I got astronomically lucky with waver by getting him with 4 tickets in a banner, so he’s out of the question, and I was planning on getting tamamo, but I’m already saving for Castoria anyway. You probably won’t see this but if you do who do you think I should get?

Get a DPS who has strong normal damage and still quite strong even when in disadvantage position.

If you don't have any other supports I think Waver is a much better choice. He has a lot more versatility when compared to Tamamo
@@Yojimaki Thanks for the advice, did some research and it seems that Waver wins the cake in most situations and it's even better if you go double weaver (also double Skadi is popular it seems) for those rigged bosses and/or event turbo farming. Lostbelt 5 is killing me a bit.

For anyone new, the rule of thumb is that you should get AoE or support servants (usually casters) for yourself. You can always borrow ST servants from friends list but most of the content involves farming so you need strong AoEs and supports.
My advice is to see what classes you dont have an AoE servant for.
Suggested AoE servants:
Saber: Mordred
Lancer: Karna
Archer: Napoleon
Rider: Drake
For caster, Id advise to just get a support like waver
For assassins Hime is considered a support servant
For berserkers, no recommendations tbh
Ruler is used for gimmick battles so Id advise you go for one of the main classes
