    Pure class! What a cracking lesson on a course I know really well. I hope Furness members have seen this. You did the course proud.

    Hi Warren. What a scenic location, which appears to be a perfect setting for an enjoyable game of golf. I am sure Trev enjoyed all of the open space. Great coaching as always. I must say you are getting so good with all of the tech, with lots of cameras, a drone and really solid editing. Thanks for doing all of this Warren, very much appreciated.

      Hi Graeme, it really was lovely there and hopefully in the future I’ll go back. Being on a range just gives me lots more options in terms of camera angles so hopefully makes it more interesting for the viewer. Glad you liked it and thank you for your support Graeme 👍

    Love the new video wide to narrow. Big takeaway is when you go to narrow you're loading that lead side to crack the whip. Still struggle with what seems to me a fast body on takeaway but I will work on that this winter in the new practice facility that is thankfully opening up December 10 close to me and affordable as well. Thank you for a great video Warren. This one is absolutely great. You always have very pertinent and great and clearly defined videos. The dots showing the backswing vs the transition are nice as well and really love the "wide to narrow to wide: sequence". Lots of great stuff going on in this video. Boy oh boy when you did in person lessons your students were lucky to have you as you really got something going on.... Really great video Dan PS Very nice of Furness to have you there. Looks like a lovely course

      Hi Dan, thanks for the message and hope the new facility for practice works out. Thanks for the feedback and kind massage mate. You’ve done a lot of great things with your golf, it’s always an on going pursuit to (our) perfection, that’s what makes golf so unique, beautiful and frustrating all at once. It’s a matter of chipping away bit by bit which you’ve done lovely this year since we’ve known each other.
      Cheers Dan 👍

    Also it doesn’t hurt to be taken on a beautiful course 👍👍✨

    Another brilliant video, there is so much in here....no jerkiness, width, narrow....out back to in. Just superb....silky rhythm, ....like chocolate custard. Think Goosen or Ells swings. Good luck.

    Beautiful course. When you said “Furness”, I thought it was a reference to Trevor’s favorite course. Your tempo is always spot on, can you share how rhythm is maintained? (Say out loud or direct me to a tempo video) I have a tendency to go quick and quicker as in my mind that is where the speed comes from but the outcome is usually better when I slow down.

      Hi Tony, like the FURness 🐶👍 In terms of tempo, I’ve always had a smooth tempo, I guess it’s just my internal clocks, I tend to do most things on the slower side. Rhythm is a hard one to teach, because it’s not just being slow, it’s not having any quick or noticeable changes of speed in the swing. Nick Price for instance has good rhythm it’s just quicker than most. You definitely can encourage it though.
      1. First two feet, keep it silky smooth away from the ball.
      2. Start off in first gear and slowly work up.
      3. Change of direction coming down is not where the speed is generated. This should be soft and light.
      4. Help with that, grip light. Practice a 2/10 grip pressure throughout the swing, it’s very hard to change speeds or be jerky with a soft grip. This would be my number one tip.
      Hope that helps Tony

      I remember an old tip from a pro in past....imagine saying Severiano Ballesteros....starting slowly but deliberately, then gradually gathering pace....through the ball.
      The Seve bit takes 2/3 secs and the Ballest....only 1.5 secs!

    Possibly the first time I’ve understood “ cracking the whip”
    All the TH-cam stuff about hands decelerating , body rotation stalling etc… unbelievably confusing , but your information combined with a classically beautiful golf swing is truly inspiring and refreshingly simple
    One thing tho… you are not in the North East 😵‍💫

      Thanks once again for your continued support.

    Love the videos! do you use the same cadence throughout your bad ? ie use the WNW concept and tempo wedges to long irons ?

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Yes absolutely the swing should stay the same throughout the bag, although with a different speed and pressures are built up into the longer clubs, the sequence stays the same throughout.
      Many thanks

    I think bringing that right elbow down is key. Does the elbow come down when your weight shifts?

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Chris, yes as well as shifting I think it is a good idea to feel the movement of the right elbow going in at the same time to give it a reminder and encouragement, especially if you’ve got a right elbow that doesn’t move correctly. I hope this helps?
      Kind regards
