I shoot very well with regular iron sights, but I just bought the Sig Sauer P365 AXG Legion, I bought the Sig Romeo X Pro MOA 2 red dot, I have never used them before in the 15 years I’ve been shooting, is there any tips after I have someone mount this optic for me first, tips on how to learn to transition to red dot sights? I have had a couple people try to show me and I just get confused because the dot is all over the place when looking through the glass,if you know any secrets that I don’t know, I’d love to hear them, I am open to any suggestions. Thanks, and awesome video by the way. I will like and subscribe. Thanks X a million Chuck Merry Christmas 2024
Dots can take some time to get use to, I can’t give you tips without seeing what your doing. My guess is you’re searching for the dot and moving the gun around. You’ll either need to get some training from a real instructor (not to many out there) or watch some YT videos on how to shoot with a red dot
There are currently complaints on their website that at least the Romeo X Enclosed Pro will not mount to DPP Plates that have nubs. The holes in the bottom are apparently too small (3.9mm instead of 4.2mm) so the Plate can't have those. See for yourself on the website. It is made to direct mount on certain Sigs. Looks like a great enclosed candidate for carry.
It would be hard to get this Sig optic right now. I like the Trijicons and know they are tough, even the first version that "flickered" a bit. Other than that one, no troubles. Just let us know how it holds up
@TiberiousGib sigh. I need more sleep. Think I meant the plastic buffer that comes with shadow systems mr920 to tighten the fit of the optic. Silly me. Any jokes are well earned
Great vid, as your usual. Like the dot, like the characteristics. BUT, just can't justify a red dot that literally costs more than the last striker fired pistol I bought. Cheers !!
@TiberiousGib I don't agree. There are many $200 and less red or green dots on the market. Yes, made in the USA means it costs more, costs more does not equal better. Cheers.
Ha! I have a Romeo-X Compact that I'll be calling SIG customer service about. Put it on my 365 and sighted it in. Then during the second range session the motion detection that's supposed to wake it up from sleep stopped working. If it's motionless for two minutes it shuts down and is supposed to restart when picked up. Now ithe power button has to be pressed to wake it up. We're talking less than 100 rounds on this sight. 🙄
@@TiberiousGib I thought the same thing. I went through the manual and there doesn't seem to be any way to turn it off. Also put in fresh Duracel battery thinking maybe it came with a bad battery. Nope.
I thought I read somewhere that if you hold the arrow up and down buttons together for a few seconds that will turn the motion feature on and off? Hope you get it all figured out…

Great review. Does it direct mount to any DPP footprint?
Yes it does
Thank you Sir!

Some components may still be made outside the US but delivered here for final assembly. I am okay with that.
Correct
What am I missing with the 32 moa dot on this (which I own) vs the 32 moa on the holosun which is huge compared to this one.

I get that, I do believe these are just as durable and slightly less expensive
Another great video!
Keep’em coming.
Will do
How does it compare to the EOTECH EFLX Mini Red Dot Sight?
These are much better / more durable than the EoTech
Good review bro thanks!
Thank you
DOPE VIDEO, I'M GONNA LOOK INTO THIS OPTIC
Thanks 🤘
excellent presentation, ....as usual.
Thanks i
What nitecore model light is this?

What rear buffer did you use?
Rear buffer weight in a pistol?

Tough to find a good dot that doesn’t cost as much as the pistol
It’s made in the US with NATO country internals. That costs more than Chinese sourced parts and slave assembly…

Great review as always. Very cool red dot from Sig.
Thanks
Nice. Maybe that’s what I put on my 365. Thanks for bringing back the AluMINum lol
Let’s keep the aluMINum! I have the compact version of this optic also, it’s solid
I agree 110%. Their real dots (ie, not the Romeo Zero) are solid choices and value
Agreed

That stinks, I wonder if you turned the motion activation off somehow?

Aluminum. You're not British, so you can leave out the extra I they throw in there. 😂. Great content as always though!
