Really cool video of what it takes behind the scenes when you arrive at a cold dark aircraft. Thanks for sharing this with everyone. You're a rockstar!
I believe the green dot is to indicate whether or not there was an over pressurization and thus a relief port was blown (by design) to prevent structural damage.
Shamir, nice to catch up with you after a couple of months away. Always such a professional presentation. You're a long way from my home in Thailand but someday... I need to make one of those epic flights into St. Barts with you!
Thanks for sharing this video. I’ve been trying to see what a detailed pre trip was like. I was a AV-8B Harrier Mech in the military. We used to call it a hell hole because that’s where a lot of avionics components were mounted and after a flight, it would be really hot in that compartment.
That was a great pre flight check video. I haven’t seen much pre flight videos. I assume the bigger the aircraft, the more time it takes for the pre flight check.
Tanks for sharing this valuable information. Let’s say you find something out of the ordinary on your preflight. What is the process of notifying it to the company and verifying the issue? Do you always have the option to take another plane from the fleet right away?
Basically we have to call maintenance and report the issue. If we can still fly, we go. If the item is grounding, then we don't fly, unless there's another airplane available, which there might not be in certain cases. In certain cases, when maintenance personnel are nearby, they might take a look and fix it before we actually go and take another plane.
Hi Shamir, have to say "great video, love the Pilatus PC 12", actually looking to get some turbine time in a PC 12 down in Dallas @ Flight Safety. Any suggestions? Thanks again for the preflight !
@@fersobe It would be a pleasure. The last time I flew the C206 (9H-... which was parked since March at the same place your PC12 is in this video) to SBH.

I'm not a plane mechanic but I do know hydraulics. That right side landing ram is going to need the seal fixed in the not to distant future. They are a nice plane the PC-12. That green thing on the side probably means there is suficant OXY in the tank. Fly safe.
It might not look good, but trust me, its good. I wouldn't go flying otherwise. These airplanes take a lot of beating and I've had to ground them before because of huge nicks and dings on the props!!!!!!! Thanks for watching!!!!!
Excelent video, it's a Oxygen High pressure relief valve in the form of a green rupture disc.
Nobody has done such a detailed walk around tour of this plane in TH-cam before. Thanks!
A very cool behind the scenes video! Thank you Shamir.

Man this is great; Take me flying anytime you're in Texas. I'm pretty sure I've fallen in love with a PC-12
The company I fly for used to fly out of Love Field for a while some years ago! I would've definitely enjoy flying there!

Correct!
nice PC12.
More thanks for this video !
Thank you too!
Excelente video, me encanta el PC12 , más vídeos en TH-cam y en Instagram, abrazo grande desde Argentina.

Thanks Bill! I'm looking forward to flying you there sometime!

The green dot on the port side of the aircraft is a king of outflow valve, right?
Its a relief indicator.. if its popped, you need to get it checked out before flying!
Great video! My dream airplane!

Hey Shamir, great video. It seemed you left the Nav light on at the end of the electrical check...was that on purpose? If so, why? Mahalo, Ovick.
From Brazil ✌️👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks for sharing Captain!
Which cameras do you use for your videos?, I think they are great.
Thanks. Mainly GoPros and my iPhone!
Hello Shamir... From Martinique...
Hey!!!!! Flying with me again soon!?

Thanks for sharing.!!! Awesome
Beautiful machine
Very Nice
Cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. Saludos !!!
What’s the purpose of the tilt bar?
Which one? The red on the hell-hole? that's the tow bar!
How long does it take to get a pc 12 rating?
It is not a rating on the FAA side! Just a course to meet insurance minimums.
question how many hours do these propellers last?
Finally! Awesome

You forgot the chocks on the front wheel...
Please do not add music to these videos!! 😢
You guys hire?
If you're looking to buy more PC-12s or want to sale them just let me know
Good video. Get rid of the loud music.

No nicks or cracks? Dude that propeller looks horrible! 15:18
