Something you did not mention but you can change the emulators which will vastly increase compatibility.
Each official "classics" game came bundled with its own emulator so you can experiment with this if a specific game is giving you trouble.
For example, Ape Escape 3 for PS2 only works flawlessly with the Rogue emulator (Rogue Galaxy).
You can rip these emulators from the (classics) game dumps. There's plenty of PS1, PS2 and PSP emulators out there these days that will broaden compatibility.

I tried astal, and it was running pretty decent. I noticed one area had slowdown. Overall though i was impressed with the performance.
Great video and the jb works perfectly every try! Only problem is that the homebrew apps are to big for the display size and i even fixed it in ps4 settings and made it smaller but still bigger then the screen

Might be a dumb question but I'll ask anyways. Is this better than running these games through an emulator on PS4 (the ones you can get in the homebrew store, or retroarch)? Better performance, less problems, etc etc?
I wish there was a patch file to add all these fixes so the emulator acts more like a program that just natively does these fixes instead.. rather than having to configure each game on a "per game" basis.

Are the game saves and loads working as states or same as the memory card? Are these same functions available for all systems or just ps1 games?
good tutorial on this but I kinda wish jabu would put an option in on psx fpkg reset on disk change like on the ps2 fpkg games like metal gear solid would work all the way through without resetting the emulator when changing disc's I know there is a config for it but I never could get it to work

I have a question, I have bunch of PS2 Singstar cds which I have converted tho iso and ps4 PKG. they works well , I can select song navigate menu etc. but just before entering song says singstar usb mic adapter not detected. i have cable ps2 mic set it seems it is not detecting driver issue. same sets working with ps4 celebration cd with these mics. Do you have any idea how come we overcome this issue?
Well, the PSP stuff doesn't work for me as the program crashes when creating package from freshly dumped iso. Any idea what can be the cause?
I've also been messing with settings for PS2 NFS Carbon collectors edition iso. Haven't been able to get that running yet.

hey bro i hope you see this, i have a question regarding xbox 360 rgh modding, where do you get your DLCs from, i use xbox360iso but it only shows me 2 dlcs for GTA 5, the collectors edition and Ill Gotten Gains, im trying to find more DLCs for GTA 5 so i can enjoy the content. i hope you see this comment and help me out with this issue!

Isn't retroarch better for emulating psx-ps2? Have you compared them? Which is better in your opinion?
RetroArch is slower but has better compatibility and less graphical artifacts.
Thats very nice but i have converted all my ps1 ans ps2 iso now i know that you seid bin but deleted the raw dump as its not needed. its very cool to see.

Download IMGburn, set it to look for your CD Rom, have it burn an ISO from your disc.
Then follow the 9.00 tut ModdedWarfare uploaded, it'd be as if you downloaded the ROM from "questionable sources"
Rip bin cue files for CDs, .ISO for DVDs with a PC using IMG Burn. ez mode

honestly it's amazing that the PS4 has gotten to this point, but what's even more amazing is that the world of PS3 jailbreak is still infinitely better. It makes you wonder how much sony really botched the PS4

finally got a usb 3.0 gigabit ethernet adapter to try the newer 1.7.2 gui pppwn, and holy smokes that thing was flying. the older laptop i was using was a pain in the rear. i like this i found the area with the games, and was wondering how they got the custom splash on the pepsiman ps1 game i tried. man it was running near flawless, which is pretty sweet. i noticed karo has 11.0 fw linux payloads. do you know of any guides on how to install linux on the fw 11.0 with these new payloads, if they work with ps4 pro, and which distro should i start with for a guy who hasn't used linux in ages? LOL

is very simple.. take a usb drive/harddisk (min 64gb usb 3.0, usb 2.0 works as well but is slow)
1 make two partition one FAT32 50mb and the second ext4 with all the space
2 copy according to your model initframs and bzimage to fat32
3 extract tar.xz from distro to ext4 root
4 insert usb and launch payload linux (i think for 11 you need pppwn before)
5 use a usb hub because 1 port is for the distro usb and other 1 for mouse,keyboard and other stuff

I'm having problems with some games, they boot and run normally, but when the game asks to press Start Button nothing works, I have tried every button but it does nothing. What should I do? Thanks
Gamepad should be the start button for the games that's weird?
When you're in the game, hold down the PS button and wait for the quick menu to pop up. Scroll over to Sound/Devices and then go down to Turn off Device and then Dualshock 4 appears. Click it to turn it off and then turn it back on. I have to do this every now and then and it works for me.
Same, I got tekken 5, it asked me to press the start button, couldn't figure it out so I just deleted it,
However recently I found out that the touchpad/button, has 2 buttons,
Left and right sides, the right side equal the start button, just like how ps2 controllers has multiple buttons, the pad just represents those buttons, I haven't tried it myself, but you could give it a try and see if it works

Can you please make an update guide on how to install legit game updates for disc games you own? The one for 9.00 doesn’t work for 11.00
PSX multi disc games are not fully compatible. You cannot switch discs. I played Lunar up to tbe 2nd disc and when i switched to second disc its rebooted the game and asked to load disc 1. Unless this emulator is newer.
Multi disc games only work if disc 1 lets you save right before disc 2. It does not have an auto swap feature. Those games need a LUA script to automatically swap discs when asked.
Great guide. Can you help me with NFS Carbon? I've already tried almost every version, including US, Europe, and JP, but the game crashes on the loading screen with error code CE-34878-0.
the temptation for giving my PS4 to a local store for doing a downgrade from 11.02 to 11 is reaching an all-time high but I fear they mess it up n break my PS4 + the fee that they asked for is considerable...
there's no guarantee that your PS4 model will let you run this exploit, I own an 11 model of the system but it simply doesn't work like many others have experienced

Some apps keep crashing the system and I can't restart it unless I switch it off, in doing so I would have to go through the whole process

Is this 11.00 only? If so, that would be the first reason for me to upgrade from 9.00, otherwise i'll just stick with that i guess (with the rpi zero).

Trying to move us to 11? I believe your video about your essential jailbroken ps4 tools (very informative btw, but i was familiar with them thanks to your earlier posts), the title also prominently showed 11.00, while you had to mention some of the tools weren't even ported to 11 yet, so why not just "on a jailbroken ps4"?

EDIT2: ok, so its in the description. I guess you are trying to make sure those kiddo's that just found out their 11.00 ps4 is now also compromised for homebrew (which is a great thing!) find the right channel to follow, i guess that is how it works.

Big question. I am still running golden hen on 9.00 should I stick with 9 or upgrade to 11? Not sure if there is any benefits or not.
I think you should personally stick with HEN on 9.00 simply because you have a much much easier way to reenable the jailbreak via a USB stick.
I would do some research however to see what the difference is, AND wait for a similar means of reenabling the jailbreak on 11.00

no ps3 games at all. all ps3 games on PSN are emulated by sony remotely and streamed to the console via the internet.
