Chahal Saab maybe you can answer one technical question about the deck load capacity:- The payload capacity of Vcross is 180 kg , Hi lander is 225 kg and Scab is 995 kg. What difference in suspension has Isuzu made to increase the payload ? Is it leaf spring only or better shockers also ?
One big reason to reduce payload us the category of the vehicle, as v cross n hi lander can be registered as private so they gave reduced the payload in paper, other wise it will fall.under CV, As I have v cross 2017 with stock suspension n sone time I load 850 to 900 kg, no problem, yes the rear leaf springs seems different as they have mentioned soft ride leaf spring...but number of leafs are almost same, as s cab hi ride n v cross, n hi.lander has leaf doring over the diff n s cab normal has leaf under the diff...
Those are some practical mods. Love the rear adjustable tow hook. The beautiful dash mat. The whole vehcile has been prepared with lot of passion. Good job done and great review sir.
Stock vehicle with all the mods might feel a bit sluggish in the city and need more gear shifting, but after the pedal tuner and the race dynamics Dieseltronic got installed, it feels perfect and the low end power is spot on. The size is something that just needs a bit of time getting used to…not really an issue The best part is that after the front bullbar, the corners get marked very clearly so the judgement becomes easier
Jaideep , gr8 going with ur vdos.....u r covering them well and are informative....if u can add the road legal status also....coz in India we hve anti modification traffic laws...specially with the bull bar......so how do we go about it......thanks....
Jai... Is any egr fooling harness available for Nissan? I blocked my nissan 2.2 xtrail egr with a blanking plate . Instered the plate after the valve. Egr valve plunger moves normally. But after awhile egr throws malfunction light and scanner throws error code regarding egr malfunction. Its a 2 pin egr connection. Don't know how does egr know that exhaust path from egr outlet and manifold is blocked!
The advanced engines tend to need an electrical bypass for these, do check at outback 4x4 Australia for an egr delete for similar engines from Nissan, be it in any other vehicle too

From leh ladakh having 2017 v cross, biggest problem is when you drive n rev the engine in third or fourt uphill, it misses some time like diesel got freeze in winter fir couple of sec...any idea...as cleaned injector by liqui moly, clean MAF, engine flushed..any idea.. If race dynamic duel channel mskes any real difference from dtick engine performance n remains unchanged....
