Thank you for watching any questions drop them below 👇🏾
The RCA cables that you have going into the subwoofer how do you have them hooked up I’m completely lost but I have everything else perfect?
@@dallashowry5568 you have Instagram ? I can send you a video of how I have it
Any idea what color the positive & negative wires were? So I didn't have to look it up lol
@ShineNShxxt color always going to be power and black with be negative (ground)
‘Ima gone head’ and like this video 🤣
Gone head bro🤣🤣
Great video overall. Though, you should not connect your Line Output Converter directly to the source power. That should be connected to a 12v SWITCHED power source, so your Amplifier isn't on all the time.
My problem right now lol
@@hgf_chriss2378 Try tapping into a Cigarette Lighter port, as long as it's switched power and only on when the key is turned.
@@whitigol i bought a on and off switch yesterday i think its fancy 😂😂💪🏾
@@hgf_chriss2378 That's one way to do it 😂. Until you forget to switch it off.
@@whitigol yeah 😂that would be some shxt but not to mention before the switch its been on probably for 3 weeks nonstop😤 its my first sub install i did myself i thought it was normal
i have a 300 as well, so you dont have to do anything in the front? you can set it all up just in the back of the car?
Yes the best part about Mopars
Sometimes it doesn’t matter how long a video is if they really want to do it right I can be watching for an hour and complete step by step make the best videos and you have made things crystal clear and to the point.
👍 thank you for making a great video on this subject.
Glad I could help you out
He absolutely did can't wait❤
Remove that converter and replace it with a Lc2 converter. I had the converter you have and believe me it restricts your sound but that lc2 converter will make them subwoofers bang like a champ.
Word … say less I’m order it are you running the same amp?
I'm running a hifonics brutus 4000 watts
At first with regular converter my amp half way up was hitting but not like it suppose too. Then I took a chance on buying another converter and half way up almost want to tear my trunk up. Lol
It's a LC2 I'm sorry. It's on Ebay for around 70dollars
If you're on Facebook messenger, look for my name and pic and send me a thumbs up or something and I'll send you a video of how my system sound with that lc2
So how exactly did you tap to the Speakers? Does it stay on with the car off?
Tap in to each rear deck 6x9 and it’s turn off when the car is off
Gonzalez Jennifer Rodriguez Elizabeth Miller Brian
Martinez Michael Lewis Jeffrey Hernandez Anthony
This man is the 🐐
Thank you glad I could help
Couldn’t I just also wire my rca’s to my radio if it’s aftermarket instead of tapping into my speakers?
Yes. The loc is only for if your head unit doesn't have the RCA out
Martin Carol Lopez Michael Perez Elizabeth
Martinez Timothy Clark Robert Taylor Amy
How are these holding up? I got a 300 too and am wanting to put subs in it
So far so good
Does the bass sound clean or does the trunk rattle?
Lee Laura Thomas Michelle Harris Cynthia
Anderson Scott Garcia Steven Davis Richard
Lee Brian Jackson David Thompson Jose
yoo question, im new to all this, got my wires installed, but now the amp won’t turn on. do yk why ?
Remote wire not connected right it’s be the smallest wire
Garcia Eric Anderson Jose Taylor Deborah
it came wit this FRUSE
I must’ve missed it , the app has power, ground and remote. I didn’t see where you got that wire from to plug it into the amp.
Which one
Give a time stamp
How do you hook up the bass adjuster knob
It connects to the amp and you run it side of your seat or set it and leave it in the trunk.
Gone head bro ‼️🤣🤣

Great video appreciate the break down👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
I have a Skar evl. Had it in an impala and that shit absolutely banged! Traded it for a 300. Did this exact same thing. Sounds like total shit. This headunit needs a real eq too. I'll probly end up getting that tesla style unit. That has a good eq. But currently, it's like it's trying to play all the music through the sub, not just the bass. It's real bad. I'm gona be taking it out until I get that new screen then see what happens.
You was doing good until you didn't show how to connect the wires to speaker or battery or to the radio. So help me overstand this
Battery in the truck red wire (+) one part go to power of the battery and other half of the wire go the (+) in the amp black wire is negative you can bolt it to the chassis of the car and other half goes to the battery and blue wire goes for the remote that’s goes to the amp and other side goes with the line converter.
They worth 230 ?? I was thinking bout getting these for my 2016 accor
For a start up setup yes depend on how much bass you like
I'm a newb with this. So you can add a sub and amp without screwing with getting to to the radio and just going thru the rear speakers? I just picked up a 2022 300 with the Alpine stereo and sub and not impressed. The bass sounds better in my dad's Chevy Colorado.
Yep no need to touch the radio and the battery in the trunk so even better
Great video,im trying to install something this week
Keep me updated
Yo bro great ass video but I got lost on the car speaker how do I know witch one is positive and negative
Red is always positive and black is negative
2 of them seems like overkill man I think I'd rather do a single one
Put after market radio in Chrysler Sebring convertible. With 2500 watt amp & sub. Factory speakers sound busted
Might wanna switch them out should be 6x9 or 6.5 speakers
5:48 (amp wire) ...what if you dont have the converter ....where does it connect too...
So wait, I don’t have to remove the oem radio to install a system?
Nope tap into the rear deck
Does it matter which wire is connected to the rear deck speaker. I’m getting positive on both lines of the speaker
If I have a Chrysler 300 with the Bose system which has a sub can I still tap into the speakers and just add on to that sub?
Yes you can or just tap into the rear subs
I kinda wana do this but it looks little complicated 🤤🤤🤤😞😞😞
You got this one step at a time
Great video man! Hopefully you make more Mopar videos
Yep more on the way
I did the Same thing idk what I missed but I need help. My sub plays music when I turn on car but sounds really low. And then when I change song the sub has no output
Did you line converter sound like you put the remote wire in the wrong place
Do you need a brand specific amplifier or can you buy any amp that matches the watt limit
Any good amp.
Any amp Is cool whatever you prefer
What fruse is he using?
The kit comes with fuse
Fruse.. lmao
🤣🤣
I hope that amp wiring kit wasn’t CCA other than that good video💪🏾
Thanks
Best video I seen yet explained it very simple about to do the same to my 2020 buick encore
Let me know how it turn out
@ReggieJaySneakz will do a video and let u know how it comes out bcuz they don't got a video on 2020 buick encore yet
Whats good homie I did it the way u explained it and got it going I posted a video on my channel for those that had the same issue basically the speaker wires are on the back and under the seat looked up in buick forum and got what wires was rear speakers 12v and the rest was history good looking bro
Yo all you do is push the silver doll in back subwoofer and put wire through it’s that easy not what you did lol
Thanks for the feedback, Here a extra way you guys can do it if you want as well.
Does this same thing apply if I have the Chrysler 200?
Yes it does
Where did you buy the grey wires for the sub
Amazon
Will my amp actually turn off if I hook it up like this
Mines does haven’t had any problems
what if you have a factory sup in the rear sub?
You still do the same setup
Smith Larry Lopez Sarah Jones Matthew
Where did you connect your signal wire to
I brought a add fuse and wire it to the fuse for the cigarette light in the truck fuse box
Nah this is the perfect video
Thank you glad to help
Thank you My G for the video great job
Glad I could help
I got the alpine system in mine with the 3rd speaker do I install it the same
Yes you can or you can tap into the 3rd one as well.
was that a spot for a single sub in the rear deck?
Yes I did for a 8in sub
i got my speakers and wired everything the right way and have power for my amp but i still have no power to the subs
Do you have the power to the battery …
@@ReggieJaySneakz yeah i found it out , i’m new to subs and al that and j didn’t know you had to turn it up on the amp itself. but it’s weird bc it only hits when one rca wire is plugged in so i just have one plugged into the amp bc it doesn’t hit with 2
@@landinscott9112 when I put my kicker in my 06 stang it only hit with one too, idk why
So the amp and the converter will turn on and off with the radio connected like this???
did the battery switch you put by river seat come with the wiring kit?
No it’s came separately from the subs
Did you tap in to both factory speakers ?
Yes one for each side
Where is the grown wire going
To the chassis of the car right next to the battery. Follow the ground wire from the actual battery to the chassis
What line convert called ?
What you mean you grab which one you like from Amazon eBay or whatever you like to buy your electronics from
I can’t tell.. am I supposed to “ go on ahead”?
Where did you get the line converter
Amazon
What did you ground it to?
Follow the battery ground in the trunk and un bolt the screw to the ground and you ground it there I haven’t had any issues
Hey man have you had it go into protection mode
Yeah once it over heat but goes off for a min or two and come back on but only happen to me on really hot days
What's your tune it to? Gain and all that??
It’s been a bit different I say play around with it and get you a aux cord it hits better then Bluetooth the phone to the car
Where is the stock amp ???
Mines didn’t come with one
Wish u shoulded how u tuned that amp
All different depending on how you like your bass
@@ReggieJaySneakz i only know what the gain knob is i dont know what the other knobs are for or how to set those
Yoo what colors you wire to , can’t find color codes for shit
What you mean what color you wire too ..
What colors are the positive and negative for the speakers you tap into
^^
^^^^^^^
Walker Donald Wilson William Lewis Edward
Where did you buy this from
Amazon
What are some good places to ground the cable too? Any super easy ones? 👀
You can put it on the negative post on the battery in the truck or the bolt to the frame of the car behind the seats.
either use the battery ground or use the same bolt the battery is grounded to.
What if it has battery current sensor
Where u ground ?
In the trunk where the battery is there is negative post coming from the chassis to the battery you can un bolt it and ground it there
Depending on your car you just want to ground the wire to your chassis of your car no painted area
can you show the equalization of the amplifier please
So with this set up do the subs only put out bass or can you hear voice as well? And what size amp is that?
You hear both but you can always just buy the subs and not the sub and amp packages that comes together.
Why'd you skip straight to having it already connected, instead of showing how you connected? Like how you made the wires fit?
Where does the remote wire go for the rca wires?
To turn the amp on
some line level converters have it built in. You can also get a fuse jumper and just find a item in your fuse box that turns off and on with the key. I used the heater control fuse as it only works when the key is turned on.
His remote wire is hooked up to his line output converter but find a fuse in the fuse box that's right in front of the battery and make sure it's one that can turn your amp on and off with the ignition.
Gd job
Thank you
Your subs will be louder then your factory mids/highs which I do not get way a person will do this.
Use the low pass filter on the amp
Very well done video so far.
Thank you kindly!
Where did you put the ground wire?
With the ground connect coming from my battery to the body of the car
@@ReggieJaySneakz thank u
