It’s a wonder to me the ability for people to evolve. I started watching your content in 5th grade, nearly a decade ago. We were both really different people, and now we’ve grown and moved on. I really looked up to you and still do as someone who wants more, who isn’t complacent with doing what works the rest of their life. I wish you all the best, and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for the world. :)

I’m 25. Watching your video today, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen your TH-cam channel. So you’re a genius? The coolest take away for me in this video, is that you’re incredibly curious, and caring. I think what shines through with what you produce, is that you create something that was always stitched with love, and made to last. This is one heck of a video, and I’m sure your audience retention reflects that. Congratulations on what you have achieved, and I hope that you are able to achieve something wilder then your craziest dreams. Thank you for expanding my horizon for what I see as possible for myself. What I like most about this video, is that I can see you care about the process, I think that builds trust, and increases demand for your services. Again, congratulations on doing things the right way, and genius or not, I hope you see yourself as a pioneer in your own space, and I dig your stuff.

As the top comment jokingly indicated, you aren’t just doing quick money grabs left and right, you seem to truly care about helping people in ways that actually matter (not always just productivity but doing deep dives and sharing random stuff like excel finance tracker methods blah blah), and you even take the time to chat with people on places like Slack and Reddit without recognition (I’ve benefited from this myself!) because you seem to genuinely want to help someone with their problem without a direct money feedback. I will continue to follow you and I wish you all of the fulfillment and financial success that your “genuine” method deserves

Unfortunately, between the required network connection (a drawback of Notion, not the template) and a glaring mobile performance bugs that Support couldn't reproduce, I ended up moving away from UB managing my day-to-day. This was revelatory. Your SkillShare on Productivity opened my eyes to a problem I had with managing my attention. I’ve read books on productivity and have gotten better, but I still struggle. I hadn’t developed a system because no platform had out-of-box solutions that worked. It never occurred to me that I needed to find a platform that could support what I needed to have, learn what I needed to know, and then commit to build it how I need it. With this video, and a new subscription to Thomas Frank Explains, I can see a path forward. Thank you.

One thing that I enjoy about your productivity videos is that you apply that productivity into your life and that's admirable. I think you were one of the the first few people who made a channel for productivity before a lot of people did it and I only stuck with yours because I was satisfied with what I've learned from you. Thank you for all these years and I will keep watching you no matter what channel you're on or what website you create, especially because I'm subscribed to your mailing list

So good to see you back Tom! I've missed you & it was inspiring to see how you moved away from stg already successful into building stg from scratch. I'm at the most confusing time of my life where i've been meaning to build stg of my own from scratch artistic wise & even when i don't know where to go exactly just yet, fun is indeed the secret ingredient as you stated multiple times throughout this video. Thank you for continuing to inspire me & i mean this in terms of a couple of years now

It is indeed! I had no idea where the Notion thing would go when I started Thomas Frank Explains, but I had a good feeling about it. Hoping the same is true for Flylighter!

I was an avid consumer of your content (mainly podcast) back when I was starting college. Your content was the spark that quickstarted me on this productivity-seeking, endless adventure. I am definitely a better person because of you. I wish you the best in what you do.

I was wondering where you've been, but kept coming back to a few of your older videos while I waited for your return. This is really inspiring and motivating...and I don't even use Notion.
