$7500 for addons? Lol. Longo Toyota has second series 2021+ Mirai for as low as eleven thousand dollars right now certified of course. In addition you can get a 30 percent federal tax credit if you make less than seventy five thousand dollars as a single Or less than $150,000 as a couple. So you can basically get the entire car for about $7,500 right now. It's sad because these are very well made cars like even the first series arrived was a solid car but either Toyota or somebody screwed up the hydrogen fueling to the point where they're basically worthless right now
Toyota sold 499 Mirai cars in 2024. That is down almost 82% from 2023. It is their worst selling vehicle by a factor of five. Yet, people still think Hydrogen is the future?
Hydrogen has a future in larger applications - trucks, buses, fleet vehicles. Its more difficult to justify the price points in passenger vehicles. The Mirai is great as a 2nd, or 3rd, car. Not as a daily driver. That said, I would buy the Mirai as a 3rd vehicle. We have to move off of dirty fossil fuels. Think Green Hydrogen.
Fleet managers look at the variable cost, one cent higher than the alternative and it is out of the question, and hydrogen is very expensive and not green at all, actually H2 is a GHG in itself just like CO2, but 12 times worse! Aviation maybe, except for the cost Even huge cargo ships can run for thousands of miles on batteries alone, cheaper than Crude Oil
Your wheels definitely look good for sure.
Did you buy a new one?
That is a huge difference in price.

Yeah, for heavy vehicles it's a no-brainer

Do you think you can still negotiate a 2024 Mirai Limited less than $25,000?
Whats the fuel cost per mile?
