When I first became aware of Chef Pepin, it was when he was interviewed by Anthony Bourdain. I immediately saw him as a peer of Chef Paul Bocuse and was SO intimidated I actually avoided his online appearances. I now see that that was a major mistake on my part in light of the fact that I really enjoy spending time with Jacques during his two featured programs, Fast Food My Way and Essential Pepin. He's such a gentleman and has a great sense of humor.
I really hate to say it. EVERYONE that eats or has ever eaten is a "FOODIE" sorry to break it to you pretentious folks that place such importance on titles!
