If you feel bummed about bt dying, just remember he transferred some of his ai into your helmet in effect and cause, hence the morse code message at the end of the credits.
In every video I've seen of the ending to this game, the player has always chosen to say "I'm not going anywhere" Everyone was willing to go down heroically with BT

I love that this game had the confidence to stick something as awesome as a fucking moon exploding in its skybox where most people would just never notice and then _not_ force the player to look at it.

They were 10 months into developing Titanfall 3 but then turned that into Apex Legends
There are some signs for something related to TF in the last updates so who knows, maybe I'm ODing on copium and or hopium.
