Thank you so much for the continued support. It’s nice to see your regular comment every week. Makes me feel important and appreciated haha! Just know you’re important too, and not just because you send me a nice comment every week and make me smile!
I had to view your Why do I cry vid in two sittings.. You have impacted my being,,I am distraught as never before. I am breathless,,,I am an old fossil, armored to the teeth,,you penetrated me, your scalpel meeting no resistance. I want to give you wraparound hugs. You are an artist,,,an individual capable of achieving success over anything that attempts to skew your progress in life. The expose is an eye opener. You are very very brave and honest. Your letter to the 16 year old self brought on the tears,,,I love to cry when I am moved. You took to to a very altered state. I want you to continue your journey , hopefully with a steady reduction on the doll scale. The pain will lessen.Do not ever doubt your beauty and the beauty of your free mind and spirit. I will help. Clean the rudder,,wear one boot,,,,keep going
Lord, I so want to dive in there and give you a hand. It's history now to you but real as real to us. Keep going, Nicole, we want all the best for you and want to see you flying across the ocean again, like the Angel you are.

Never doubt the moon will rise at night, never doubt the sun will rise in the morning, never doubt you are beautiful and important. You truely are. Sending love to you Nicole
Well said. I’ve definitely learned, by sailing solo, how to trust myself and find peace and trust in Mother Nature, and that helps for living, sailing, and healing. Sounds like you understand. I appreciate you watching and commenting and wish you nice days ahead.
Throughout I was like to reach out and dive in with you to the work for you, I noticed injury to your left hand 😢, you are so natural, you are not shy of showing reality of what it takes to accomplish, with every episode your respect grow
You are incredibly strong, an incredibly beautiful person. You have such knowledge that I have never seen before. God has made you one of a kind. Every time you cry a tear it only makes you stronger inside. For some reason I was not able to attach this comment to your latest video. I’ve only been watching your videos recently, but I am so impressed. I can’t stop watching them as soon as I see a new one pop up. There’s very few people in this world that could even attempt to the success at what you have achieved, and your overwhelming will to move forward every day. You are giving so many other people strength by seeing your inner beauty. May God continue to help you and bless you every day.
This is so good for me to hear, and really encouraging me to continue to produce more content as I really like knowing that it’s inspiring people. I disabled comments on the video because it was a personal story and I wanted to avoid any crosstalk. I appreciate you leaving a comment here though. Thanks for seeing my strength in these videos. I wish the best to you, too!
@@SailingArtha If you need to talk anytime I’m more than willing to listen and give you my thoughts and perhaps help you in anyway I can. We all have struggles in life and sometimes they seem to be overwhelming until we look back on those problems years later. Just remember tomorrow always brings another day of beautiful sunshine waiting for you to enjoy and make new adventures. You are a very kind and wonderful person, I want you to never forget that.
So your mate there is trying to teach you how to get rid of osmosis blisters. Grind till vinegar type fluid stops coming out. I suggest when grinding fiberglass to get fully clothed as micro shards of glass will get into pores. Any remaining skin cover with talcum powder as that at least stops fibreglass from getting in. Really not a bikini job that one, good luck.
So I just watched your video about why you cry and I get why you turned off the comments….But you really moved me.I just wanted to say you are special and your important and you have meaning . And Im soooo sorry you went through this. But all these things that happen to all of us in different format just make us stronger! You are beautiful and have great courage and I wanted to just say you got this you will prevail. We need strong people like you in this world….thank you for sharing your story.❤
Damn girl cant we just buy a new rudder. You are working hard! When you are old, your poor little hands are going to be full of arthritis. Take it from me I know. I worked hard like that too and now I don’t think it was worth it. You are very talented and you don’t give up. Lots of respect for you.
The money just isn’t there for replacing, but regardless, I think it can also be effectively repaired. The hard part is done now. I actually love doing epoxy work, so I’m looking forward to that stage of boat projects! I appreciate you following and supporting my journey.
If this is any consolation, I've unsubscribed from all other sailing vlogs after years of checking in with them occasionally. It's just Sailing Art(h)a now. I have yet to have watched any other vlog as unfiltered and as genuine as yours. I find myself not only invested in the sailing and adventure, but in you as well. As in all vlogs, the scenery is beautiful, the sailing is spectacular... but with you, I can smell the gasoline (and your cabin). I feel the bites of the sandfleas, the sting of your sunburn(s), the oppression of the heat and humidity. I get uncomfortable thinking of the sticky layers of salty film all over your skin and clothes and surfaces. You can be super elated, contented or lonely, or you can be a red hot mess. Just know you're appreciated. On that, I think I can speak on behalf of all your subscribers.
I admire your persistence. I see what you are doing to that rudder as not especially difficult for me, with a shop full of tools and experience, and see your determination to do the work with very little to work with. You are getting it done and that is the main thing. One other point for later on, remember he showed you that pintle that had eroded, that means keeping ahead of your zincs will be crucial and making sure there is no stray current from your electrical system.
Nicole I have two daughters I’m very proud off they are good eggs. If you were my daughter also I’d be proud to call you my daughter. Keep up the good fight in the process of a healing the soul. Keep up the hard work your boat is going to be an amazing adventure. Dave
next vlog😮 so recognisable😢..a child of parent(s) with mental problems too..wanting to be 'normal' while perfectly normal as you were and are. Far away but you can wake me up any time when you almost lose it..any time..as you part of my heart now..please stay..don't give up❤
I'm watching your new video rn, and I'm sad to see that you're going through it. Scars don't make you less, they're trophies to remind you of things you survived. I almost roped myself once. Idk if it was my conscience, or if it was a god, or an angel, or a devil talking to me, but I heard a voice say, "don't let them win, don't let them break you." Keep holding on, eventually you'll realize you're unbreakable too.
Hello sailor, respect you are fullfilling your dream, you had to do it, thgough it is sometimes hard. I have found a large xxxxl size cheap white paperoverall usefull when working in hot weather, zip open, sleeves cut open on wrists for ventilation, protects from the hot sun, and dirt. Use it sometimes when sailing, the clean one😅
Hi Nicole, looking at the state of the rudder and underwater hull there will be quite some work to do. Take care of the cost for the repairs, because it can goes up to 10,000 Usd. I recommend to agree the prices before they start. Now they are all friendly, but don,t be surprised that they come with an invoice for the use of tools. I can see that several disciplines are required for the repairs. I advice to agree lumpsum prices for the different work including materials. This means that you clearly must specify the end result and the methods, like number of paint layers, the epoxy for the hull repairs, the layers of gelshield etc. Same for the rudder. Working on time base is a risk in case of extra work. Also, don,t forget the number of lay-days on the yard and other yard service. Maybe you have it all under control, but please sit first with the yard manager to discuss the workscope and cost. All the best with your hard work, Hans from the Netherlands
Hi Nicole! I like to watch you travel, how you cope with everyday routine and difficulties alone, and of course I rejoice in your success. Your example inspires me. P.s. Everyone has bad times and events... You're a good girl, don't stop, keep it up!
Hi Nicole. Like others I stepped back to this video in order to comment and encourage you. Many years ago I was at sea and feeling similar desperation. I looked in the mirror with tears flowing down my face and shouted "God, if you're real, come to me and help me". He did! I encourage you to consider faith in God. We Christians believe we are in a battle, a spiritual battle between good and evil. Try praying as I did. You are precious to me and to your TH-cam sailing friends and you are precious to your Father in Heaven. I'm sure that your willingness to share your story will result in people helping you in may ways... helping you financially, help with boat, being a friend and yes, praying for you! I hope you'll be able to share news of brighter days as you journey on. We will be with you, precious one.
Thank you! And yes, I know I’m still “here” because of my higher power. It’s what works when nothing else does :) thanks for commenting and for the hope and encouragement.
Meraviglioso .. Saluti dalla Sicilia, Andrea
I suggest you always wear a wide brim hat and a long sleeve sun shirt. The sun exposure will catch-up to you when you are older! While you think you are cooler without a shirt, you are also gaining heat from the sun's radiation. It is better to have a shirt on. Note the yard workers are all wearing shirts. Columbia makes their PFG (performance fishing gear) line of shirts with SPF (sun protection factor 50 or more). Get a tan or other light color. Put this on your wish list. Get one size larger than you normally wear for easy movement. Someone will buy one for you, perhaps even me! It is also more modest. For your work, you will need corded tools. Cordless are not powerful enough.
Okay, I’ll add some sun shirts to my list. They are just so pricey that I didn’t really think it was worth getting such nice shirts if I was going to ruin them with boat projects. But I guess that’s all just perspective. Better ruin shirts than my skin.
Remember, these aren't going out to dinner shirts. After a few months, they will have a nice "patina" - covered in sealant, epoxy, paint, etc... Better than skin cancer. Don't forget a wide brim hat too.
Yes, good point. Some are pretty powerful. They do go through batteries fast when used hard. Unless she has two extra batteries and two chargers, she may be waiting on charging. Batteries also have a finite life and are expensive. If she buys a quality cordless tool, she is likely to have it her entire life. All my older cordless tools are obsolete. The batteries are either unavailable or too expensive or under-powered compared to the newer cordless tools (think 20v vs 9.6v). I still have corded tools from the 80's that still work great. The most useful cordless tools are drills and drivers.
You have my deepest respect doing What you doing now💪a tough woman 🙂 I cross my fingers that you fix your rudder and I hope some of the guys there give you a hand there now and then👍Take care and good luck with the work. The reward is a wonderful adventure later😁⛵️💨Best regards from Norway🇳🇴⚓️

Thank you! I did just get a bunch of epoxy and filler. Super pricey and I was late in ordering it so it’s taking a load on the budget that’s for sure. But I do want to get the boat back in the water asap. I’m excited to share the video about grinding the hull and repairing the blisters. Thanks for watching
Did you drink before..? Or never..? I couldn't forgive myself, nor love myself, for decades and drank ...and drank.. Coming up on a year sober now.. Anyways.. so many words I want to say... I hope to see you out there one day so I can say them. But for now, you are a beautiful being and a beautiful soul. ..and clearly strong and determined too! 💪🏻
Congratulations on your sobriety. Alcohol was never my solution.. for me, it was compulsive eating. But I found a good book in 2016 that led me to another solution, and I like its solution much better!

It'll be super-satisfying to see the rudder when it's all done. Definitely looks salvageable, as do the pintles (straps at least), from what I could see. No substitute for quality bronze.
That was another fine example of dauntless perseverance DIY Nicole.🎉 It totally gave you a nice temporary extra tan..ready for Halloween🎉..in addition to the requisite drops of sweat.😅 I look at it with admiration😮..that you can see a future again in such a dilapidated helm. Curious to see how you will fix this and curious to see the end result. Unfortunately I can't support you financially yet, still need every euro myself in my boat life, but who knows in the future..🎉❤
Hi Nicole love your channel very much you are doing a amazing job bit by bit to restore this beautiful boat, i love your drive and determination to succeed and not scared to give it a go and ask question. Cheers Kurt Australia
Hello Nicole as for your latest video. I actually think you are beautiful and was just telling a friend about this gorgeous woman on a sailboat. I think you are the perfect woman with an incredible smile. I would love to have a woman such as you by my side! Be you as your are beautiful.
Doing a great job there! My 50 year old back though is wondering where the saw horses are lol. If I was rich I’d come down and build you a set! Anyway, enjoying your videos from a rainy Oregon. P.S, I’m looking for my first boat. Be well.
because you deactivated comments in E30: you already help people when you talk about your story. i want to give you a big hug for this :) whoever wants to give you an advice, should understand your poem first.
Well done Nicole, way to go girl! Jee, what a task that vessel is. But the rudder is just so incredibly important you've GOT to be sure of it, you won't sleep if you have nagging doubts. But when the yard worker took that grinder to the hull I half screamed stop!!! Is it really your plan to replace the whole gelcoat?!
I won’t be replacing the gel coat. Just repairing the blisters, rolling a layer or two of epoxy over the entire hull, then doing several layers of interprotect 2000e, then coppercoat
Yes u skin should be covered.and gloves even if it 🔥 hot .buy best mask u can afford.u can cover u skin in savlon a white antiseptic cream then talcum powder.this will stop the itch.apple cider vinegar can also help to wash your hands.Good Luck u doing a Good Job
Hi Nicole !...I do hope that you are not still feeling intimidated by all those male CABBAGES !? Your natural videis are just so laid-back and interesting to watch !.....I might say that I have only admiration for you for what you do !.... I'm sure that you inspire a lot of people to do whatever ! I'm one of them ! Thanks so much for being born ! And love from Australia ⛵🦘🇦🇺🌹 15:29
oh and there's another freebie for you I noticed you taking to the hull with a grinder/sander, it looks to me like a plastic boat make sure if you damage the surface of the gel coat that you put a good quality sealer not just a ordinary primer back over the patches before you antifoul so you don't encourage osmosis
Miss Nicol, apply new gelcoat to the hull and the rudder, the latter fill the holes with resin and epoxic, plug the breaks with fiber and you will have a nice Bristol channel cutter 28. Gain time in the living work of the hull, plenty of Marine varnish 7 layers where you need it. Good job...
when bolts are that badly corroded the best way to remove them is with a grinder. Good luck you have the determination, but lack proper tools, when on a boat invest in some good tools it will save you money and time, also bloody fingers.
Well, I listened to your "breast" video. Other people don't see you the way you see you. To me, you are a young, beautiful woman and cute as can be. In addition to that, you are really smart and would put a lot of sailers to shame with your knowledge. You have too much to offer any guy or other person. I could tell you were discouraged. You're too cute, girl! Get yourself around some positive people. You totally deserve it, and you need it.
I know it is hot and humid where you are, but don't do any kind of scraping, sanding, bottom sanding, etc. not covered up. i.e. no bikini tops and shorts. The breathing mask is good, but depending on what you're doing, wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, or get a Tyvek full body coverage suit. You are dealing with a lot of hazardous stuff that's now coming off that rudder and your boat's bottom, including copper from old bottom paint! I sold marine supplies for ten years and owned several boats, and virtually all those paints, coating and fillers are not good for you or the environment. PS: you own the boat I've always coveted: a BC28. Fair Winds.
Okay, I ended up sanding the topsides with no suit but I got a hazmat suit for grinding the bottom. It’s brutal, but now I do prefer wearing the suit for this kind of work. Hopefully, if you can’t get a BCC28, Sailing Artha will give you your fix. Thanks for watching
Hi , A couple questions : What is the BC's keel material ? The Rudder is all wood cept for the gudgeon and pintle ? I know you are already finished prepping her hull, hopefully there were no surprises popping up during that ? Having boatyard workers help out is definitely a big plus. Dont rush, take half day rest break for the body and soul as needed. Have a great weekend.
The keel is lead. The rudder is all wood. The hull is fiberglass. Any hardware all looks to be bronze. No surprises during the hull prep. It actually looks better than I thought. And yea, I’m on the verge of burn-out so I’m finding balance and am going to start sharing my adventures around the country in combo with boat project videos. Thanks for watching
I know I'm not responding below the correct video. I will not be offended if you delete my text after reading it. But your story, as a father, particularly speaks to me. Your story is moving. I sympathize. My 16 year old daughter also wanted to have an operation pushed by her mother. In France, for these operations, the consent of both parents is still mandatory and I refused to have my daughter mutilated. At this age, the body is still under physical construction and the head is still under construction and personal acceptance. Today, she thanks me even though at the time she was cursing me. Today, she is proud of her body and that is a pleasure. You might consider your operation to be an “accident” of life. For some it is an illness or a car or household accident that causes a loss of a part of themselves. Femininity is not in the possibility of breastfeeding or even being able to have a child. It is in your everyday actions. Shaving your legs is not proof of femininity. The way we wear or not wear this hair is femininity. on the other hand, accepting your body with its faults and its strengths in the present moment is courage. And I have no doubt that you have a lot of it with this presentation that you have just given. You are pretty and you should not doubt yourself. I hope the translator will not distort the meaning of my statement too much. All my thoughts of courage are with you.
Need to ask a question: Are you doing all this to prep the boat to sell? I think you're buying a different boat, yes? I appreciate people bringing a boat/car up to a good reliable level before selling. My jat is off to you! Surrrrrre wish I could be right there helping you...hope it all goes smoothly!
Hartelijke groet vanuit Netherlands.
Thank you so much for this kind feedback. I was so nervous to share the video and almost didn’t. Just asking the question “how could I help you,” is enough! However I am currently buying a boat and trying to also afford the necessary repairs. Money is very tight, and I’ve only been doing YT and Patreon since May, trying to repair and buy a boat while living off of about $1500 a month. If Sailing Artha has been a positive experience for you, I’d really appreciate a share (and/or a donation if you’re able!)
Hartelijke groet vanuit regenachtig Nederlands.
People are making comments about covering skin, and I’m over here cringing at everyone running around a construction area in flip flops instead of steel caps. Especially every time you flip the rudder over I worry you’re going to drop it on your foot.
Finally, the self steering fin comes off! TY! In my experience with sailboat rudders I found that these are designed much wider than necessary. The only type of sailboat that needs a wide rudder is the cat-rigged vessel because it becomes unbalanced off the wind. My Glander Cay's bow sprit was too short, and, to compensate for that, the boat had a rudder that was more than twice a wide as it should have been. I doubled the bow sprite lenght and built a new rudder that was only one foot in width. It worked very well. You BC sloop should not have the off-wind balance issues that a cat-rigged vessel has. I recommend reducing the width of the rudder, and that will allow for the cutting away of the damaged edges. You could easily cut 6 inches or more off of the aft edge without affecting the rudder's steering ability. Also, the rudder ought to be narrower at the bottom rather than at the top.
Okay, this is very helpful information. Just a minor correction, the boat is a cutter. Does that matter for the shape of the rudder? I was wondering if I had some wiggle room for decreasing the width and size. I haven’t started on repairs yet - been too busy working on the hull and other projects. The beam of the boat is 10 feet.
Hey! Thanks for noticing my post! Yes, the cutter rig will develope less weather-helm than a sloop rig. I had my Glander Cay cutter rigged. When the wind comes up, all that is needed is to either drop or furl the jib and continue with the stay=sail. Reefing can then be saved for later. If I was attempting to repair that rudder I would trim the aft edge by six inches starting at the top and increasing to 8 or even 10 inches at the bottom. Width at the bottom of a rudder is a grounding liability. You have more than enough rudder for a cutter rigged boat. @@SailingArtha
@@jeffreyerwin3665 Okay, so to clarify, you’re saying I can trim more off the bottom aft edge than the top aft edge? If you are on social media, feel free to message me on FB or IG. It’s Sailing Artha for both. I am definitely curious about your suggestion.
Yes, that is my opinion. At the very least, the width of the rudder should be the same from top to bottom. Something that I do not like is the flat bottom profile as the back corner at the bottom of the rudder can be easily impacted by the sea bottom. I think that the most important modification that you can make to your rudder is to cut away that bottom corner starting at the end of the pintle. @@SailingArtha

you needed another wrench set, maybe a lubricant as well... why not get a wrench set because you still have to put everything back together -- the guys are NOT helping you properly
Ok they helped you. And I now realize you are in need of tools and much more... as I first watched I was impressed at your hard work... you will succeed. But the right tools can decrease your effort & time each job takes. Safety too from fiberglass.
Thank you. I’m doing some research on tools because I don’t really know what all is out there, and I don’t know the names of them. It’s hard to make a list when I don’t know what my options are. Especially ones that are better suited for small spaces like a sailboat. I’ve run into problems where projects take so much longer or I can’t do them yet because I don’t have the right tools. But then people are good at stepping in and helping with what they’ve got. I’ll add a wrench set to my list of tools to get.
@@SailingArtha My wife and I watched older videos and read about your life so far. We are 85 & 82. You have a great future. Please be kinder to yourself. Your 16th year must have been quite something else. Regarding plastic on islands ... there is a group within the sailing community that gives small machines to native islander people that allows them to collect and melt plastic .... which they then use to create products to sell to tourists and other sailors.... I don't know their name... but I have watched videos of the process and the machine. You might join the group. I don't know who pays for the machines. It might be a charity. Our Earth is beautiful.... we have been fortunate to see lots of it.
i admire your determination but next time get it sandblasted no mater how good your mask is antifoul will make you sick now and long term it is after all poison it works its way into your system even just by the dust you wont notice it but it will fk you up bye degrees stay safe and maybe ask people of experience before you do stuff there are plenty of old salts who don't mind sharing i cant physically see your rudder to make an accurate assessment but if it doesn't feel right replace it, you don't want to be trying to jury rig a rudder in a bad situation even 2miles at sea is a long way to walk home on a good day

You're such a beautiful, sweet lady. Thoughtful and sweet. Stay strong. You make the world a better place. Good things are coming your way.
I’m glad those old salty dogs are givin you a hand!
Yea! I definitely needed their help
Thanks. I did get a hazmat suit and some other protective gear for grinding the hull. I’m so happy that project is behind me (still in queue for YT)
Also, good to know about the talcum powder
Any washing power will help cleaning yourself from the fibreglass dust
Nicole I ❤ you ! You are perfectly imperfect ! Please be strong you are here for a reason . You are absolutely gorgeous
Nicole I'm commenting on your video on 11/11 I ❤ you !! You are Absolutely Beautiful ❤ don't ever think otherwise ❤️
That poor little rudder. It's a lot of work but you are doing a good job!
Just wanted to let you know I think you are amazing. Keep up the fire.
Thank you for keeping up with me and my adventures, and paying attention. I’m grateful that Sailing Artha has been worth your time in viewing.
Love it! "I've unsubscribed from all other sailing vlogs" LOL This could be a trend. Go Nicole!
Okay, thanks.
Girls got grit.
Nicole I have two daughters I’m very proud off they are good eggs. If you were my daughter also I’d be proud to call you my daughter. Keep up the good fight in the process of a healing the soul. Keep up the hard work your boat is going to be an amazing adventure. Dave

W0W! Mad respect to you for taking on that project! Really, job well done!! Now I hope you have access to a good shower!? Ha!

Appreciate you recognizing this.
Thats the same job i have to do on my folkboat. You're a real inspiration and go getter, not just another pretty face.

Modest? 😂 are you the modesty police?
I'll disagree a little bit here, battery tools are powerful enough, at least the new ones, but only for a short while. They have their place.
Nothing like a good 4 1/2 Grinder. This seems like one hell of a job. These guys in the yard are so awesome with the help they are giving you.

Hi Nicole love your channel very much you are doing a amazing job bit by bit to restore this beautiful boat, i love your drive and determination to succeed and not scared to give it a go and ask question. Cheers Kurt Australia
Lots of work ahead. It will be worth it.
Hello Nicole as for your latest video. I actually think you are beautiful and was just telling a friend about this gorgeous woman on a sailboat. I think you are the perfect woman with an incredible smile. I would love to have a woman such as you by my side! Be you as your are beautiful.

Great job! You are more optimistic than me. 😅
Awesome video Nicole!❤

I noticed you taking to the hull with a grinder/sander, it looks to me like a plastic boat make sure if you damage the surface of the gel coat that you put a good quality sealer not just a ordinary primer back over the patches before you antifoul so you don't encourage osmosis
sand blast
It was too expensive at $6,000. I ended up grinding the hull myself, video coming out soon

Good job...
I like Cetol better for UV resistance.
Thank you
Go Nicole you're doing well just get stuck in just cover up a bit when you're sanding fiberglass its shit stuff for ya skin 😊❤❤
Yup cover as much skin as ya can stand
Thanks. There’s one more video where I didn’t have the right gear but when I start on the hull I am in a full hazmat suit.
when bolts are that badly corroded the best way to remove them is with a grinder. Good luck you have the determination, but lack proper tools, when on a boat invest in some good tools it will save you money and time, also bloody fingers.
❤❤🥰🥰
I you can I would make a new rudder as looking at the one you have now it would be better off with a new one.
Go for it! I'm trying to fix my motorbike engine at the moment (although I don't need to worry about sun screen here in England) so I feel for you.
😎
Well, I listened to your "breast" video. Other people don't see you the way you see you. To me, you are a young, beautiful woman and cute as can be. In addition to that, you are really smart and would put a lot of sailers to shame with your knowledge.
You have too much to offer any guy or other person. I could tell you were discouraged. You're too cute, girl! Get yourself around some positive people. You totally deserve it, and you need it.
Absolutely in awe of your optimism, I would of used that rudder for firewood 😂 Good job 🤘👍
if that was my rudder I would have started drinking days ago.
haha! Fortunately I made more progress on it sober 😂
I understood this perfectly. Thank you

Is the rudder important?
Kinda, yea. It’s the main thing that steers the boat.
Oh no.....fiberglass and open pores(skin)....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The Women has come out of you.🤣🤣🤣
People are making comments about covering skin, and I’m over here cringing at everyone running around a construction area in flip flops instead of steel caps.
@jeffreyerwin3664 Are there formulas that one can plug boat dims and rigging types in to determine what rudder design will work best for them ?
