We spent a few days in London in 2016, and I loved the Full English Breakfast. (I saw it on the menu) It was different to see beans, like pork and beans, for breakfast. And, their idea of bacon is more like ham on our side of the pond. I ate a meat pie at the Edinburgh football stadium, it was pretty good. Your interaction and personalities are so excellent, I'm surprised your channel isn’t taking off. As always...
We love Scotch eggs, even made them at home one time. It is a real pain to peel a soft-cooked egg to get a runny yolk when you are done frying the whole thing, but well worth it.
I really liked when you went for the sauce on the first bite. So many of other food videos they "taste it first" instead of eating the dish the way it's meant to be eaten. Thanks!
😊😊😊had the fish and chips at the Tropicana location (now closed) . I dont think it was $20.95. VERY GOOD but Village Pubs were 8 dollars cheaper and you got more food.
Was the beer a genuine British pint (20oz) or just an American pint (16oz)? The Fish does look a little small for British style and the Chicken And Leek Pie looks like a better value. If Amy doesn't like peas, try some of the peas that you eat the entire pod, especially the Sugar Snap Peas. Buy some from a grocery store and microwave it for a few minutes and try it that way. It is used in lots of Chinese stir fry dishes, and I don't know of anyone that hate it, even kids. Don't confuse it Snow Peas which is also eaten by the entire pod and also used in Chinese Cantonese stir fry dishes.
Checked the menu. Some things I wouldn't have, but, they have enough things I could have. Dietary restrictions. Is this on Spring Mountain Road? Near where the Chinatown is? No Tartar Sauce on the fish? My wife would like ketchup on the chips. Take the bus down Spring Mountain Road.
the eggs are usually soft boiled not hard, and the dough crust on the sausage and pie was not crisp the fish did look crisp though and the gravy is very dark and runny doesnt look good...beer is a bit pricey there though just observations of having lived and worked all around the world ill check it out when im there in a few weeks the all you can eat monday looks good
Paul sadly they permanently closed the Tropicana location it used to be my go to fish n chips pub in Vegas , I first ate @Crown&Anchor on my very first leave after graduating USMC bootcamp back in 96'🍻
Good eats.and videos Blessings to you both ❤
Thank you 😊
Will check it out one day
Always love going to British/Irish pubs. Have never been disappointed.
Crown & Anchor ⚓...It must be a franchise business? We have one nearby too! The tap is always a good selection & booze galore. 😀🎉
That pie looked fabulous! The fish looked great also. Yummers.
So good!
enjoyed the video thx. I sure do love a pint of harp lager too. lol.
We love it!

Thank you!! We're having fun exploring and hope to pick up more friends/viewers along the way.
Yummy !!
Whooooooooooooaaa love that place!!
Both dishes looked wonderful! I don’t think I could choose just one!
And there's even more on the menu that looks great
Very nice looking place in Chinatown yet. Food looked really good and a good selection of beer on tap is a plus. Thanks for a great video.
Our pleasure! Literally
Great video as always, usually you eat a sausage roll with your hands with tomato sauce, same with meat pie
Good tip!

Ps pour the gravy on those chips
or mix the peas with the mash…tips from an aussie😊
Love black and tans. Have not have one in years. I remember it being the harp and Guinness and pouring it in the restaurant I worked in ‘96 lol
It takes skill to get that float just right!! So good
Looked so good but, the peas.❤❤❤
😆
Good show and the food looked delicious! Seems I remember y'all having Scotch eggs at a pub in Lake Charles, La. Have more fun.
We did!
We love them
Great review! Both of the dishes looked so good, but I would probably hang with the appetizers and the buy one get one beer, lol!
Good call!
We thought the same thing would be good and enough
When are you going to Crepe Expectations. We recommend the BigLou, Chicken Verde, or Ruben. October starts the pumpkin, pecan, caramel sauce crepe.
😆 we meant to go and arrived after they closed
It's on the list for sure

Sounds challenging
No malt vinegar for the fish and chips??
was going to say the same and no mushy peas
I hear you! Malt vinegar is a must! Maybe a little tartar on the side, but no vinegar is no bueno.
There were bottles on the table. Probably had vinegar, which is a must for fish n chips.
@@jeffkramer9511 yeah, can’t do fish & chips without it.
@@lutomson3496 Mushy peas are extra.
Haha! We have used peas an ice pack!! 😂
Value priced first aid
@@bestfoodreviewroadtrip7612 The good thing was there wasn't that many dressed up.. 🧟
Sadly the original location closed, that place had delicious fish and chips and an interesting clientele.
Man you aint lying 💯👊😎
My kind of eatery. Semper fi brother
🤜🤛
Paul, you should have added the peas to the main!
I really liked when you went for the sauce on the first bite. So many of other food videos they "taste it first" instead of eating the dish the way it's meant to be eaten. Thanks!
Next time
Yes!! Sometimes we wait to try optional (table top) condiments until we have the dish straight, but when it comes with a sauce, yes!

I've heard we need to try the fish at village pub! Next time
Mix the peas into the sandwich and into the mashed. Love peas. You’re missing out. lol.
I don't know... maybe she'll try that next time
What was the sign behind Paul say “all you can eat fish and chips”?
Yes!
On Mondays
Thank you

Sadly, an American pint!
Amy likes eating raw snap peas!
It's a damn shame that they closed the location that used to be on east Tropicana. GREAT video still
Thanks!
Dark beer on a 110 degree day😂
It was closer to 95 😆
Checked the menu.
Yes it's in Chinatown!
And we did have tartar sauce on the plate
Scotch egg is supposed to have a soft egg
So we've heard but have not found in the US so far
the eggs are usually soft boiled not hard, and the dough crust on the sausage and pie was not crisp the fish did look crisp though and the gravy is very dark and runny doesnt look good...beer is a bit pricey there though just observations of having lived and worked all around the world ill check it out when im there in a few weeks the all you can eat monday looks good
We haven't found any scotch eggs in so the places we've stopped in the US with a soft center, but hear that's the proper way to prepare them.
No those are regular peas, mushy peas are just what the name implies, basically mashed peas.
We like that you can ask for either
thanks Amy, I hate peas
Represent!!
Do something different. Try Strip Bar Food!
😆 maybe we can find a free buffet at a strip club?
Oh
On the strip? 😆
We'll look for some deals
I say! Those aren't mushy peas!
No, we didn't order that option
Maybe next time
If it’s an authentic British Pub why is Carlsberg beer featured?
😆 we haven't been to England yet so a bit ignorant
REAL Expensive. Dont care how good. Pass. More Vegas deals please. If there actually any
Well, we have some other videos on our channel with some great deals, check it out!

That's too bad they're closed
