Viscount and Viscountess Hinchingbrooke 👑👑 - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
The Mapperton Team is doing amazing work not only in showcasing the renovation of their amazing home but also in how they are handling their re-wilding and animal husbandry projects. Its a great example of how to keep these wonderful places alive, relevant and in touch with the communities around them. Wonderful channel, thanks so much for sharing!
Hahaha! I just love Luke and his very British sense of humor! Greatest Viscount in history - saving his manor one creative, interesting, and funny video at a time!
Finally..... news about the animals. My favorite topic. ❤
Love that the Lord of the Manor knows the names of the trees and flowers and gets to know what needs to be done on the estate.
Love the Lamb feeding, the wild horses and Luke's energy 😊 I'm so looking forward to all that's happening at Mapperton. Love and light to Julie, Luke and all at Mapperton ❤
I’m renaming Luke “Lambpa”, absolutely love seeing he and Claire out with the sheep!!!
Can we get that on a teee shirt 😂
@@Grahamvlogs802vt Ewe bet we can!
This was a fun video! Fun to see how things are done with the animals and the progress that's formed since the rewilding started. Thanks for sharing! And happy lambing!!
Awww my little bluebell! We must do a catch-up video with all the lambs! Now that bluebell has had hers! ❤
Loved watching the sheep and cows today. It is good to see them wandering free with the collars to keep them where they need to be. ❤
This Oklahoman loves watching your videos! The pregnant lady ewes running toward you to eat was funny!
Sorry to hear about Edwina!!
The cattle look very esteemed and confident!
A typical lovely sunny English day! Congrats on the babies! We had lambs in the oven when I was little. Now they have heat lamps for the barn! Progress!
Love this episode. My goats just had kids. 8 adorable babies.
I am Happy that You highlight the Norwegian invention «no fence» 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴
The mapperton animals are so
Interesting to
Watch. The baby
Sheep are being
Born soon sorry
About last year.😊
Names for babies, well Bluebell inspired me to think of other flower names....Rosie, Sunflower, Iris, Chamelia, Daisy, Lily, Peony, Poppy, Angelica, Dahlia, Hazel, Hibiscus and Holly, Hortensia, Hyasinthe, Ivy Jessamine, Laurel, Myrtle, Pansy, and Violet..........lots to choose from
How's it going with getting back the beavers?
I'm assuming they are lost.
Yes, where are they?
Praying the Beavers are well and safe living and thriving in there natural environment 🦫 🙏 ♥ but it would be nice to know 😊
Glad for this video love the people and remodeling vids but the animals are much cooler
F A N T A S T I C bluebells and ramps. I'm from California, and have only ever heard about them.
this was one of my most favorite episodes! Bluebells, lambs, gps on cattle, Arabella.. all fun!!
Enjoyed updates on lambs and cattle and Luke learning to manipulate the trailer! The bluebells are lovely!
Love, love the rewilding.
I really enjoy watching the adventures of buckaroo Luke and the team of mighty men (and Claire, too)! Thanks for sharing. I would like to see more content like this as it is so interesting and inspiring at the same time.
Great editing and delightful music too. 👍👍
Thank you very much!
baby lambs are just so very adorable!
Hope lambing season was quick and successful for the Mapperton herd. The cattle looked in very good health and having access to prime grazing will allow them to provide better stock next calving season. Happy cows now make healthy calves in the future. It is wonderful to see all of the animals, as well as the estate, looking hale and hearty. Can't wait to see the eagles flying over Mapperton again. The gates in front of the house just look so BLAH without those majestic eagles on their perches. Hope Mapperton has a successful visitor season this year.
Ok now I got to the part about the cattle. The GPS gadget is amazing. Your cattle remind me of Texas long horns. But your cattle are white and beautiful
Love the Dartmore ponies! NOW, have you considered participating in the efforts to preserve the European traditional draft horse breeds. A breeding pair could pull wagon rides, look picturesque and charm many visitors with their enormous gentle size.
Awesome 🤩 Thanks so much for sharing this 🐑
Thank you for a long awaited animal episode! Pixie or Snowdrop are my lamb name ideas. Luke, it’s always good to see you try new things. You’re an inspiration to us all. Enjoy that wonderful world of yours that you generously share with us. Happy spring.
I want a tour in that wagon! As a SPECIAL special event there should be a mike in the truck/tractor with a speaker in the wagon and Julie or Luke gives a personal tour. Maybe as a feature to your Grand Historic Tour package.
OMG.. those lambs are just the cutest things.... 🥰
Luke though your most wonderful wife Viscountess is very enthusiastic with the work that is being undertaken, your are throughly enjoyable to watch out in the paddocks with your team. Thank you for bringing such great viewing and enjoyment to this episode, God Bless 👍😇🙏
That is a beautiful cow breed, nice that you all are working with them, being on larger size and with horns
Sort of like ancient aurochs shown in cave paintings 🐃
Hoof care on cows I don't get, horses...yes.
Hi to everyone!
Hello, from Michigan USA 🇺🇸 💕
Bonjour.
Lovely moments with the about to be new mums! Suggest ‘Baaaabra’ for a new female lamb👍👏
I like that!
Someone buy Luke a belt for his jeans. I was so worried they were going to fall down, I missed half of the trailer lesson.
Thanks for the update on the sheep and cattle. The Bluebells were an unexpected treat. I hope you get a break from the rain. Cheers.
"Chloe" & "Daisy" for girl lambs if you don't already have those names ~ it's so lovely there for them
What a fun day! Love 💕 the animals.
Such amazing things going on at Mapperton! Thanks for sharing!
Theo was a legend ❤
Well done on the backing up of the trailer, Luke! That's not easy.
What a fun video!! Love seeing the progress you have made. Come a long way!! 😊
Georgous Ewe, s. Great video, you made us laugh, Luke. You may need some practice backing, a trailer. But you got a 9.
I tried!
Julie and Luke nice video with the animals.
Love it when Luke takes us out to see the animals and how the rewilding is going. 🐮🐑🐎
I can SOOOO sympathise with Luke learning to back a trailer! I learned as a teenager in the early 1970s, driving a pickup with a boat trailer on the back, and coached by the fire marshal of my small Texas hometown (a family friend). Fortunately, he knew exactly how to explain so I'd understand, and while I never got to be expert at it, I damned well learned how to DO it.
Great glimpse into the farming / rewilding side of Mapperton. Did I miss whatever happened to the beavers? Last time I saw anything on them they still hadn't come back. How cool that the cattle won't need fences, sure hope it all works.
I think traditionally, a lot a lambing used happen around Whitsunday, the 7th Sunday after Easter. Also known as Pentecost Sunday, it marked the day the Holy Spirit first descended upon the Apostles and disciples. Shepherds would make sure the ram would consort with the ewes during a certain time I think in the prior November for this to be timed just right. Traditionally, girls and ladies would wear white to church and it was also a day for a lot of baptisms. Whitsunday is May 19 this year. There would also be parades and brass bands playing.
Luke is brilliant I thought this was a great video and the Rover and all ❤
That's great! I am glad we are getting news about the animals. You have shared so much about Mapperton and many other old estates and homes with us already that it has greatly inspired me to continue working for the conservation and maintenance of my family's ancient estates in Spain. I would love to share some pictures of the old buildings, lands, and archives which you might find intriguing. Can we write to you at Mapperton directly or should I send a message through social media?
Great episode.
You nailed that trailer Luke.

Very nice 👍 sister god bless you
Love a new broadcast thank you the new baby is so cute congratulations xxx
LMAO! Watching them use a crush to get collars on the cows... and all I am asking myself is: "What would the Hoof GP (TH-camr) say?"
What is that awful noise while Luke is driving in the field?
Congratulations on the baby boom. Well done at Mapperton 🤯👍
I have a feeling it’s a sensor to let him know there’s something behind him when he’s backing up. The trailer is setting off the alarm.
My husband’s truck has a sensor like that. If the tailgate is down and I back up, the sensor thinks I’m about to run something over. It’s awful!
I've just watched the long horned white cattle being collard. I'm wondering how much they weigh? Having lived at Mapperton I love watching anything about it. Thank you for making it all possible on TH-cam, especially the rd-willing project.
Giving sheep food pellets is like feeding children junk food. And just like junk food it’s very addictive, that’s why they run towards you. They will be much healthier just eating grass. As nature intended.
❤❤❤❤ Girls name for one of the new coming lambs I picked Astrid.😊😊😊😊
There was an episode where you shared how a roadway is sliding down the hill side due to so much rain and the ground being saturated. I just watched an episode on Julie’s channel where she was at Blair Castle and they have a hydropower pump drawing the water out of the land and creating power from it. Could that be a possibility for your property?… it just made me think of your problem of overly wet lands and what could be done with all that water
Love the color and markings on the lamb's
😂 Love the editing in the trailer escapades. Brilliant! 😂😂😂
wonderful video...suggest Hazel, Mayzel for the lamb names - thank you
I like the name DAISY for a lamb❤
there’s a great video on American Viscountess with Luke discussing rewilding 🐖 the video could be edited and put in the Mapperton Rewilding playlist
Absolutely loved this. Missed you Julie but your husband made up for it and made me laugh. Great video team mapperton ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Put ya hand on the bottom of the steering wheel when backing a trailer up. You don't have to remember the backwards part then
Lovely episode with updates on the lambs and cattle, and a short shot of the pigs. How are the Beavers? Luke you are brave to try driving on film without practicing first! The Bluebells were ghorgeous, and it looks as though the wild garlic is thriving. The collars were interesting, but the big hanging down box(thing?) won't it get in their way, get trampled?
Great driving, Luke! Im so impressed! But what in the world is that strange glassed-in cart for? I've never seen anything like ti!?????? Oh! Wait, ferrying guests about?
And the volunteers
Luke, I saw a video on TH-cam on how to back up a trailer and the instructor said to position your hands at the BOTTOM OF THE STEERING WHEEL and drive it that way. The instructor said by doing that you do not have to be worried about doing things backwards. Hope that video helps.
Any new news about both beavers? Last I heard you found only one of them, but they weren’t back in their home after the floods? I truly enjoy the beavers.
I would absolutely love if one of the girl Lambs that is born would be named Melvina that name was the name of my great-grandmother she live to be 103
When the cattle need their hooves done would you do a collaboration with ...the hoof GP please
Id like to know about the bulls and babies :) nice video!!! loved it!!!
Thanks for the idea!
Quick tip the breakaway cable should not be around the tow ball it should be on the bracket or a separate fixed point as the tow ball is the most likely point for it to break and the the breakaway will not operate having been stopped by the police for exactly the same reason in the past ?
Fun!
Have you thought about horseback ride tours of the estate?
Miss the beavers, have they been found?
Miryewam, ofcourse. And at least one beh-he-hetty, one Elisabeh-eh-eth...
Are cattle horns like cat’s whiskers- they figure how big an opening the fit judging by the tips of the horns?
😘🍄
what breed of sheep are they?
Please name one Jessica Tandy, my favorite English actress!
Or twins,jessica and tandy.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌈🌞
Hi all
Hello Ruth 👋 wishing you a wounderfull day 😊 love from Michigan USA 🇺🇸
Violet and Maggie lambs names.
I have a couple names for the female lambs....Keisha and Jazzie
Can a lamb be called Henrietta? Please 😊
What’s that noise?😂
Heather and Teasle would be nice lamb names Imagine how many people heard about the three spot lamb in his short life. He wasn't here for nothing.
Have you thought of having sheep sponsers? Pick a sheep and send not coffee money, but feed money. Get email updates in return.
lamb names all starting with the same first letter, each year, to easily know year of birth by name
Lulabelle for a female and Brutus for a boy
