This was a new aspect in the final destination series. We also knew that new life could also defeat death. Otherwise if the other movies have taught us anything is that death will always keep coming back at you.
@@jimhershey5487 I do like the kills, the security guard, and the song in the intro and ending but that's pretty much it. I don't like the main characters. I prefer the first 3 despite the crap 3 gets, but I also like 5 as it was pretty good
I hated 3 to 4 because they didn't really add anything new to the table. Just people getting killed and the survivors trying to prevent becoming next. Here though they did a few things right. 1. They kept it connected to the first movie. 2. They brought back Bludworth. 3. The whole killing to take life thing offers a new terror to the series. It's one thing to fear Death as it can come at you in anyway. Then there's the added paranoia that one of your friends or yourself may have to kill someone to extend their own lives. Then even if they did the job, we never know how long that person had to live in their original life so odds are we either die slower or way faster.
Not to mention that you would pretty much end up in prison anyway for killing that person, hence why Peter still tried to kill Molly for witnessing him kill Agent Block, and even the possibility that Death somehow made sure that Block and Roy had not long left anyway so that Peter/Sam and Nathan would be tricked into thinking they were okay only for Death to come back at them all of a sudden. 'Kill or be killed' is ultimately just appeasing Death until it more furiously claims you later on, so for me as a moralist, the only way to truly save the group from Death's list is to have a new life as shown in FD2 (where Kimberly drowned herself and got resurrected) and the original film's alternate ending (where Clear and Alex had a baby, and she and Carter live to tell the tale).
@@josephd548 Actually Molly was his intended target. During the whole scene, he was talking about how he couldn't bring himself to kill anyone that he felt didn't deserve to die. Before that scene he was contemplating killing someone. But essentially what happens is this. Peter goes to Sam and Molly under the guise of just seeing how his friends are holding up. As Death is after all of them they don't see him as a threat yet. However that's when he starts. He mentions that he was thinking long and hard on who deserves to die and he narrowed it down to Molly because in his POV, all those that would have died in the bridge collapse didn't deserve it, yet in the vision, Molly was the only one that survived. So his whole motive is "What the hell is so special about you." Naturally while he didn't want to kill Sam at first, he had to, knowing that Sam would try to stop him and then he killed Block. They were just loose ends at that point but he still intended to kill her anyway.

“Seeing You Soon” is a phrase of the grim reaper in various horror media. He can disguise himself as a regular human being. My thought is that William is in fact The Grim Reaper in disguise. Put in mind that no person who received a vision has ever escaped Death. None of them survived for long. Maybe the end of FD2, but even then the newspapers showed that the Two Survivors there went down the road into a Woodchipper by accident, so Death still got them. So for Bludworth to Survive either he is the personification of Death or he’s in a role similar to Charon in mythology where he sends the Dead on their way

This was my favorite final destination movie and this was my favorite scene in it.
