Welp.. I can attest to the fact that Dirty Deb answers your emails and IG dms. She may take a lil bit 😂, but she ALWAYS answers 🥰 and I personally appreciate it. I've asked countless questions from wheels to cushions to what to drill outside until it gets cold. She just replied to me earlier this morning, and I wasn't even expecting to see this video. So Dirty thanks for being genuine, thanks for breaking everything down as far as it can be, so we can all use the lesson & take the time to go do it! My 3yr sk8 anniversary is coming up in November and thanks to this journey, I have women I just met in my life who feel like the oldest of friends. You can't beat being on wheels! And you play a big role in a lot of us NOT having broken bones 😊. Have a great day everyone 💜 and Dirty, YOU ROCK!
First of all: Your hair looks beautiful. Second of all: I love that Jacket. Third of all: You are just the bomb. Period. Oh, and thanks for this session, I need to practice this.
I’m trying this at my roller skate class this week🤓. Thank you, D🤗. You are literally my inspiration and have fuelled my love for skating over the past 3 years and I can’t thank you enough💟.
Love you DD. I send all the new derby girls I can your way. Even got a CNA learning to skate better again your way. I sure hope to skate with you one day. 🧡
Going to Skate a While rink in Rome NY with my girls tonight! Going to be practicing this and transitioning in the corners. I have been obsessing a bit much thinking I have to get backwards skating. So I took your advice and I had a great session last night in Schenectady with my girls just concentrating on improving my outside edges with forward skating. I skated better last night than I have ever skated! Thank you for your content!
This is so good as I do a rather half arsed version (like the children you described). I would love to see a video with a toe stop though. As what would be the timing so that I don't stop dead and fall over.... :/ But I can't wait to try this.
🙋🏾♀️🤩 Hi DD You're fabulous and fantastic and l Iove everything you've done and doing you have been a big part in my skate journey I've been watching you since your very 1st video on TH-cam 💛 thank you lovely 😍💯
On ice I don't have to worry about ripping my pants, however I'm getting ready to take my suregrip boxers out for the first time and am afraid I might..
Well, that's a move I didn't know I had to do and wasn't on my To Do list. It is now. As for whether or not it'll help with transitions, that's something I cannot do AT ALL, not even badly, and is the single biggest obstacle in the way of being able to GIT GUD. Also, at least my first 20 years of skating wasn't completely wasted because that was all about inside edges and none of the outside, and outside edges are harder anyway. That's all well and truly stitched up now... but still, I've got everything in the wrong order. Imagine getting the basics of a cross-roll under your belt but still barely being able to set off backwards. I mean, the very idea...
I have a challenge for you. Can you go ice skating n compare it with skating n what u think of it. I actually help my class and told them my advice is from you !!
Is this easier with harder wheels? Ik ride with 85A, I have the feeling they stick to hard on the floor to do a pivot 🤨 Or maybe I am just to scared to make that movement 🤣
I know you said to put the weight on the carving leg, but when I watch you turn, it looks as if the weight is on the pivot leg (or goes from carving leg to pivot leg). So should I focus on putting all my weight on the carving leg (sorry if this is an obvious question)?

I’ve been skating for years and never practiced this move. There’s always so much to learn! Thank you for this 🙏🏾✨
Any time!
Dirty Debra, you are the bomb! Thank you!

Definitely going to practice this one! Thanks DD. Love you soooo much :)
Dirty, come to NY!!!!
This is yet another helpful video Dirty ! Keep on keeping on....
Omg!!! Used to play that game back in the 80s!!! They don't even do that at any of the local rinks in the IE.
❤❤❤❤ thank you for sharing 😊
Hey, you look like Sandy just joined the Pink Ladies. 💖😎
Can you please translate this into a on foot video so I can practice this at work and daily life? lol
I love your videos
This is helpful! I can't do regular transitions due to a skeletal deformity
works well on the back two wheels of the carving foot also
Love it!

Thank you! This is the one skill I actually know how to do! Though I need to make it tighter... K, I'll go practice. 😅
The young lady at 7:18 had me saying got-dang! You better go girl! That’s gonna be me one day. 😂🙌🏾
I know, I totally got distracted by her impressive moves and had to rewind a bit. Haha.

I love ice skating! I will definitely do that!
What’s the move called where you pivot but you go down the ground?
