man i came in here hoping that the air horns of texas would blow it out of the water. didn’t happen. i like the sound of the horn blasters more personally
Most of my parts are from HornBlasters, and I've had an actual Nathan AirChime K3L with their knock off version of the Graham White manual valve on my truck since 2009. While the horns in this video aren't "train horns", they sound great and it's hands down going to HornBlasters. The Shockers/Conductor's Special will be the closest you'll get to sounding like a train without the price tag, and for the amount of air the K3L wants I've upgraded a few times over the years so that I now have 20 gallons of air at 175psi. I've also upgraded from an Air Zenith OB2 to an engine driven air compressor from Extreme Outback, so refill times are super fast.
I got hornblaster conductors special 244K spare kit delete kit at $1349.00, the hornblaster tire inflation kit at $70.00, Wireless horn activation remote at $38.00, 220 psi digital air pressure guage at $100.00 and the single 2 inch guage dual slot panel at $15.00. So i guess over the years prices went up...... will be installed hopefully when the weather warms up.
Can you share the model number of each kit tested, both companies make several models, i like the hornblaster sound better but what model did you use ????
I have the hornblasters one, don't get me wrong, it girthy sounding, however the train horns of texas, sounds alot more like a train horn and not a pretense of a train horn
Hornblasters all the way cause I have one on a 07 Silverado with a 12 gallon tank at 200 psi I can blast it continues for about a minute and I also have two fire truck horns on it,on a separate vavle.
Doesnt it defeat the purpose to warn people in front of you or honk at them if they're infront of you if theyre facing backwards. I know on legit trains 1 or 2 bells are facing back but not all of them
46115 for the air horns of Texas and I got the 3 gallon air tank. Shocker xl hornblasters hornblasters.com/products/shocker-xl-2mc-train-horn-kit?_pos=5&_sid=38a0936d3&_ss=r

I was getting a headache listening to this guy slowly ramble on and on and repeating the same things over and over. Just get to the point, nobody is here to listen to you tell us to form our own opinion, over and over. We clearly will do so, regardless of what you say. Beginner TH-camrs always make the same mistakes and then add the cringe "I'm just a normal guy that knows how to laugh at myself". Rant over At least you didn't add in some obnoxious background music.

Be nice if you told us what horns they are..
you should always mount horns facing forwards .
You mount then facing back due to water and road debris
I have seen them mounted sideways towards the passenger door….🤷♂️
……..and pointed down in front of the radiator…. Just gonna have to get crafty with it….👍
Horn blasters for the win wow. Sounds like they echo louder. 😂😂😂
The Texas set is the most authentic sound
Actually hornblaster has Nathan which are real train horns of off trains that train manufacturers buy
@@Sendmeit except the Nathan's are like 2000.00 just for the horns
@@oakleyfreak45 I know that I’m just saying but Nathan is really good brand
@@Sendmeit Nathan is a real train horn what do you expect
@@frankierobinsonsr277 I know that and I said that
I have a train horn for my car lol I was wondering if they are legal in Ohio to use on occasion! Thank you.

The instructions are confusing on AHoT horns. I just bought mine a few days ago

Horn blaster because it does sound like the modern diesel locomotive horns....i should know because im a train nut and have model trains....
What model horn blaster do you have on your truck?
What set are the hornblaster
what brand rims them is on the Maroon truck ?
Doesnt it defeat the purpose to warn people in front of you or honk at them if they're infront of you if theyre facing backwards. I know on legit trains 1 or 2 bells are facing back but not all of them
Road debris and water will damage the horns faster facing forward
What model were the ones from horn of texas
@@williamharris631they weren’t k3la’s I can tell you that. My Nathan airchimes out those both to shame lol
What PSI compressor were you using with each one???
Horn blasters ftw.
I have 4 pair and love them. They really got the tone right. My only dislike is they are plastic.

They replaced the background noise with the tool lights
hornblasters for the win
HORNBLASTERS FTW
Curious, why hook them up facing backward I want to honk to the dumb ass in front not the driver behind me!
More of a show truck fad.
The horns are facing backwards so water and rocks and other things don't go in them that's why.
What about the dumb ass tailgaiter?😂
