Honestly I'm more of a tekken/mortal kombat player but this one literally made me want to buy it just for the fun of it... I played sf5 and didn't like how the controls felt but this one it's like they literally took the time to make perfect for pros and casuals like myself. Even though I played on modern controls, it really did it's job selling the game mechanics to me to the point I might want to learn classic and even learn 5 again. Capcom did a amazing job in this entry with it's presentation and general feeling
As a casual I have always avoided playing it seriously, I might play the previous SF games once in a while spamming Hadoukens, but now I feel like I am able to properly play it with real decisions and tactics.
This game is so good, skill levels are so clear when playing online.. and once you recognize patterns in your opponents game you can exploit them and shift the momentum, 10/10 for me
i just finshed world tour with 2 side quest left looks like and im at 35 hours lvl 56. the game is so good, i have not played a street fighter game since SF2 on the SNES
I like it but I still miss one frame links. My reactions are perfectly average so I always set myself apart by my strong execution, like Sako. I miss the crazy links of characters like Evil Ryu, Dudley, Cody etc.
Casual fgc here as well, I dabbled in sf4 and 5 and played about 100 hours of dbfz. Sf6 looks super cool to me and accessible enough that I want to play it but excitingly deep as well. I'm excited to jump in
I'm a super casual fighting game fan whose experience of multiplayer is just from couch matches (and prefer it that way). The only thing I don't like in SF6 is that i have to wait for a few years before the release of "complete" edition. Can't really afford to buy it now then buy the dlc's as they come out
SF is finally something I can give a go to for fun every now and then, I'll give it that (I'm more into games like Melty, GG, BB, Persona etc.), but that's it.
My only complaints are the jukebox is implemented in the game but not in the part I'm going to play the most which is online and only 2 skins each. All things considered those are pretty small nitpicky things and the game is great. Never thought I'd enjoy a grappler either but really like manon and ken so far.
Two base skins I think is ok, and they will sell, or give more. Now the music/jukebox aspect really bothers me. Only being able to hear my char or opponent music gets old really fast, as much as I actually like the musical direction with the new songs. I was really hoping for something like in kof xv where you got all the legacy songs, anc could set them as characters themes or even menu themes. Now we have music tracks on that battle pass, but I’m not even sure you can use them in battle. Also, I’ll, miss the grid theme song.
If I were to change anything... I would change the fact that Rank matches are only 2 or of 3 instead of 3 out of 5. Thats probably the only thing I would change so far.
@@twoshirts1842 I understand where you’re coming from, but there’s a couple things to be said: mainly, context matters. SF6 is a complete package, more than you’ll get from most fighting games ever made on release. DLC on release for an incomplete game is dirty as hell, but for complete games it just means there’s more to come and that they’re honestly charging you for bonus content instead of cut content. Also, dlc is how Fighting Games survive in the current market, that’s just how it is. It’s monetization or no fighting games of this quality from AAA ever. I will say that the paid currency sucks, that’s worth complaining about. I have no argument in favor of that bs
@@twoshirts1842 Mate chill out it’s pretty obvious that im not Dark prodigy, I felt like doing this for shit and giggles. Let me have my fun good sir and you have yourself a nice day :)
Let's put it this way, I haven't played sf, since sf2, thats how old I am, and this game makes me want to play, well that and the new tekken, so I might just be going through a mid life crisis lol
In my opinion, for the next generation I want everything we have in 6, plus more characters from the start instead of DLC, just like Smash Bros. did. Add costumes and colours, a big collection of music to play anytime you want, while playing, on the menu, etc. Customizable life bars and special bars. There's tons of stuff to make 7 an even better and atractive SF.
No No its Getting there Justin, after the First or Second Patch the FPS will increase inline with the New DLCs, As many of you know we had conversations with Capcom introducing DLC Characters, We Hope All the Fans Enjoy The Opening Week of Street Fighter 6 ...
I'm a casual fan as far as skills but hardcore as a fan. They MUST keep world tour and Battlehub moving forward and want World Tour expanded to bring metro city sized maps to othet countries and hoping rival school schools added plus more Capcom references. I love the love for fans they put into this!
The only thing i complain about is the fact that there are some moves that gets way easier to do and i don’t even understand why, like the teleport of Dhalsim, doing DP in the air wasn’t that hard to do why make it so easy, i really think that making every character simple enough so that everyone can play them isn’t 100% a good thing. What i always loved about fighting game is to grind to master moves, not pick up a controller and do everything like everyone, but that’s just my opinion
I mean, classic Control scheme is still there and it's still pretty much the same for most of the cast. Hadouken moves, shoryuken moves, charge... I don't really understand your point.
@@TrophyJourney You dont get his point. Dhalsim teleport used to be the same input as shoryuken but now its just the hadouken input. Doing instant air teleport was harder, not much if you have enough practice, but now it is really easy. Now, I understand his point and kind of agree they could leave some things harder to perform(and they did for some characters), but instant air tp fundamental to intermediate-advance dhalsim gameplay. You cant make that kind of thing hard to do just because reasons WHILE MODERN HAS IT on simple button presses, I think it means sf6 team thought this gives more advantage to modern than they intended so they made it easier to do on classic to compensate.
the only thing I don't like is that there are no “casual” hub avatar battles where stats don't matter, and u just fight with the same health. It's hard to find another lvl 20-30 players. There are only 45 and 50 lvl players who have a sh*t ton of health
I had the issue, but it turns out you have to actually make a Capcom ID account. Are you stuck on the screen with that digital score image and the "external link"? If so, type that link into an internet browser. You'll go to a page where you'll be tasked to log in or create a CAPCOM ID account. Once you make the account and confirm your account through your email, you can link the PS and CC accounts on the game.
The thing I don’t like about the game is drive rush. Like I played grapplers because I couldn’t dash well (I mained rage for that). But now that it’s used pretty much all the time it’s kinda soured me on the game.
SF6 is the reason I'm able to get into the SF series, I have SF5 but its way to difficult to play for a new player. Even with veteran experience in IJ2 and Mortal Kombat I had a hard time playing SF5.
I’ve never seen another fighter where everyone I know wants to play so many characters. Normally most of them know their main going in to a MK or a GG or whatever, but Everyone I talk to has at least 3+ they want to “main”. And even me, a life long Cammy simp since ‘93, I’m looking at Lily and Marisa and Ken and JP like… dammmnn.. 👀
Loving this game my avatar looks 🔥🔥. World tour is fun. Some matches glitch a lil but overall this is a solid game. If anyone has made a club in battle hub, im trying to join.
The only criticism that I have is that they need to balance the characters more. This isn’t exclusive to this game. The game mechanics are just about perfect. Buff Dhalsim and Zangief and I’m pretty much happy.
its a great looking game but as for your question goes on how do they top it i think theres still a lot of room for improvement with some of the character designs and the overall art style which still has a goofy nightmarish vibe to it that could be ironed out
I won’t be able to get the game until August, but I really really want to play Jamie and I already know I’m going to be terrible with him. I’m going to get so greedy with my drinks and get blown up for it
Just to be totally fair and objective, as a Tekken player it's hard for me to see it as that good. I certainly appreciate that it's very good, but for someone who comes from 3D fighters it still feels like incomplete almost
Next thing they're going to do? Tekken x Streetfighter my man. I already see mechanics in both games that line up with each other. Main line title though? I think they'll have to ride this wave for a while and really hunt for what can be added cause this game feels like the best parts of every Street Fighter ever made.
I personally don’t think that game will ever get made but who knows man I could be wrong. I think what we’re more likely to see happen than that is a capcom vs snk 3
Its a masterpiece but capcom need to rethink their monetization with this game A battlepass plus dlc I think that's a bit too much That aside Plus the biggest L right now is the pc version Filled with denuvo cancer, runs way worse than the beta or the demo And some people have constant crashes and way more aggressive slowdowns even on high end or mid high end hardware They can optimize the game to run on the taito type x4 machine which has an ancient 4th gen core i5 cpu and a gtx 960 But they cannot optimize it to run on hardware 3 or 4 times more powerful than that Benchmark gave me a score of 96 with 100 on both fighting ground and battlehub on high settings On launch version game is like 40 fps on the same settings Its wild I'am jealous the console people don't have to deal with this shit
My only problem with SF6 is the lack of legacy characters making this finished release feel like an early access game; that said, it's a problem which will resolve itself in the years to come.
That's kind of what Justin was getting at. When KOF and Tekken make their games, they're able to bring back so many characters because the legacy characters don't get changed all too much. SF changes the legacy characters from game to game. Like Ken from SF6 is completely different from SF4, and is pretty different from SFV Ken. That's besides the system mechanics changing. If they kept the game relatively the same, but with new updated graphics, and maybe add a few strings, then they could probably pump out the same amount of characters as other games.
@@solenstyle I believe what he meant is by the number of rosters is relatively small at launch. It always happens when a new game comes out since they have to make every character from the ground up. From over 40+ characters in SFV at the moment to 18 characters in SFVI at launch, it can be seen as not enough content for some people since you have to wait for years until SFVI gets the same amount of characters compared to SFV.
SF6's roster size is small but every character has love put into em + the rest of the game has so much effort into it that it's somewhat negligible compared to say GG Strive or SFV That said I still wish they went a SF3 route and like left out the World Warriors. Like leave most of the SF2 cast out and focus on the later games' characters + new blood cuz ngl I'm sick of the SF2 oversaturation lol
@@solenstyle Tekken 8's roster sounds like it'd be huge which has me curious as to how the rest of the game would be. Plus each character seems to have significant changes so it's not exactly just porting stuff anymore. I hope T8 has as much single player stuff as SF6, great online, and all while having a massive basw roster. That said that'll most likely come at the cost of little to no newcomers but like meh
What I'm waiting for is just how badly the free to play mechanics (there is a battlepass coming, and there is a premium currency) will frustrate the game later. There is a lot of good in the game, but that F2P landmine is waiting to be stepped on.
I mean, there's a singular element to hate: THE CORNER. It is somewhat opressive even by Street fighter standards. That's literally it and is easily fixable.
@@twoshirts1842ro there’s like 5 different ways you can beat it. You can parry, you can neutral jump, you can throw them, you can react with your own drive impact, some characters like Marisa have like armored punches that can go through it. You can even just block and as long as your not in the corner your fine. It’s nowhere close to unbeatable I think it just seems OP cus your new to the game and don’t fully understand how it works yet. Like i didn’t even name all the ways you can beat it
I played the demo and really wanted to like this game as my first sf game since the snes but i feel like world tour is ass and i just didnt have fun playing the demo. Maybe cause thats Luke is really obnoxious imo
Not here to talk shit, im happy to see that sf is Alive more than ever with old titels even. The world tour mode is not for me sadly, I was trying but it’s not street fighter somehow. I don’t like how combos work in this game and how sluggish it is. It is better than sfV at least but I was expecting more from capcom in this final version.
Ah yes very original, an almost fully generic boxer and a Bruce Lee clone for a fighting game. I have never seen that done before. I don't think they would be willing to take such risk, Yah know.
@twoshirts1842 Why not, I mean they've already put a damn ballerina and West Indian girl with two sticks on the game. Make it make sense before opening your mouth.
I’ve never been really big on fighting games but my favorite was always Tekken. I bought into the huge hype behind street fighter 6 and I don’t think it deserves the hype. The actual fighting is great, and that’s obviously a huge chunk of it. But there’s a major lack of characters compared to games like tekken, smash, mortal kombat, etc. World tour feels like a GameCube game with the lack of voiced dialogue, very cheesy writing, and ugly graphics for a game made in 2023. The only way to get costumes is to pay money or slog through a tedious and overall lackluster world tour. And the DLC is SO much money for what it provides. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a *good* game. But it’s no masterpiece, and has a ton of room for improvement. Not a hater just not what I expected from the hype
never played a street fighter. this one looks amazing but im hesitant to buy it because fighting games just arent for me. im not good at them. they dont keep my attention long term. even though i love competitive pvp games ive never played a single fighting game besides story modes in smash and mortal kombat so i have no skills that carry into a game like this. so im afraid of paying $60 for a game just to be discouraged because im bad. however i said the same thing about souls games and people convinced me to get elden ring and it is now in my top 3-5 favorite games of all time. so maybe like with elden ring i just need to dive into that cold water and get used to it and hope that if it really is as good as people say it will convert me to a fan of the series
@DIBs sekiro looks dope but ppl say it's the hardest souls game so I've been avoiding it. Part of what got me to try elden ring was that I could basically lower the difficulty of the game by grinding in the open world until my character was strong enough to blast through any difficult parts. From what I understand in sekiro, if you get stuck you're just stuck until you figure it out. No leaving and coming back 5x stronger.
I hate that Manon can't confirm into hit grab from anything except her stubbiest back heavy punch without spending drive gauge... I hate that only one of Manon's heavies is cancelable at all into anything at all and its the damn back heavy punch... why don't her mediums at least cancel into the light hit grab? That means that hit grab during neutral always costs 3 drive gauges unless anti-airing and that costs 1 to 2 drive bars... Its just disappointing to have Manon resort to being gimmicky...
I watched a "review" of street fighter 6 and all he did was call the fanbase losers who were bullied in highschool and never gave a reason why the game was bad. Lmao
Only played a bit so far but I think it’s fine. I don’t mind parries but I don’t like THESE parries. The drive system just feels like FADC with extras. I’m just glad to be done with SFV.
Colors/costumes costing $120 out the gate for the base roster if you want/need a second setup for locals/tournaments is inexcusable, and Capcom should be heavily shamed for this kind of cash grab.
@@alejandromomota6934 it costs about $120 to buy the coins to unlock the colors and the secondary costume for the base roster. Given how common it is to own fighting games on two platforms (PC for home play, and console to bring to events), and how most commonly the setup that travels is a secondary, a lot of people are going to own a copy of SF6 on a platform they won't grind, and if they want colors on that platform they're going to need to buy them. And the amount needed to buy them in one go is $100 for the colors and $20 for the costumes.
@@gaphdd1412 ahh yes, TOs who own multiple copies across multiple accounts should just grind each individual copy of the game they own to be able to unlock something that shouldn't be locked to begin with.

For real, this game is 🔥 Straight gasoline.
So many games are half assed on release these days under the guise of being live service but Capcom really set the bar with this one 💯😎
Yadada
this game reignited my love for fighting games ... i returned after years and years of not playing any fighting games and now i play daily atleast a few hours and its just pure fun its beautiful i lose some and i win some moving up the ranks its brutal but once i have enough of ranked i go into world tour mode having fun there its all nice
Man I NEED an RE engine MvC. I pray
Pray harder
I think your prayers should be redirected to something more realistic
Like a pill that cures cancer or pray for my other testicle to reappear or do me a solid and pray that I get unraped by my cousin when I was in the 4th grade. I'd really appreciate that one. Because the drugs aint.doing it for me anymore
Don't expect a good MvC as long as Disney has Marvel. Everything they touch turns to shit these days.
Just picked up this game this morning luckily because they are going fast
Dude we get it, you have an anime body pillow and absolutely tried to learn Japanese from watching anime.
@@twoshirts1842 Nope, just fumos. I just said what I think about the game.
DLC needs to add to World Tour, too.
I bet they will
I believe it’s confirmed World Tour will expand with every DLC character
Yea we should absolutely support that they are already feeding us dlc plans on release week.
They confirmed at the event they had where they showed at the end the demo was available that all dlc characters will be added to word tour mode
How many channels have you? I swear, every time I look for this topic, I found you.
great video! would love to see more videos where people intereact!
New feature, Drive Impact & Parry. It absolutely worked perfectly! SF6 is such a fun game with load of contents.

@@twoshirts1842 Mate chill out it’s pretty obvious that im not Dark prodigy, I felt like doing this for shit and giggles. Let me have my fun good sir and you have yourself a nice day :)
@@twoshirts1842 bro relax.
Let's put it this way, I haven't played sf, since sf2, thats how old I am, and this game makes me want to play, well that and the new tekken, so I might just be going through a mid life crisis lol
3:00 SF5 players hated SF5
Definately the best fighting game package to ever come out. MK and Tekken have a lot to compete with.
They will also deliver. Competition breeds excellence, which is good for us FG fans.
Facts street fighter 6 is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Game just feels good.
I have been watching Fighting Game Select since I was a little boy, but still listen to Justin Wong’t advice.
What I love about this game is that capcom took some mode from another games to bring varity to the game
I'm a casual fan as far as skills but hardcore as a fan. They MUST keep world tour and Battlehub moving forward and want World Tour expanded to bring metro city sized maps to othet countries and hoping rival school schools added plus more Capcom references.
I love the love for fans they put into this!
Oh and add romance options like in rival schools for fun options lol!
I like it so far, I haven't even touched online yet.. this is honestly a good GAME outside of online features
I hope world tour mode adds more fighters as dlc characters come out
The only thing i complain about is the fact that there are some moves that gets way easier to do and i don’t even understand why, like the teleport of Dhalsim, doing DP in the air wasn’t that hard to do why make it so easy, i really think that making every character simple enough so that everyone can play them isn’t 100% a good thing.
@@TrophyJourney my point is that the teleport of Dhalsim was changed on the classic control too
the only thing I don't like is that there are no “casual” hub avatar battles where stats don't matter, and u just fight with the same health. It's hard to find another lvl 20-30 players. There are only 45 and 50 lvl players who have a sh*t ton of health
The only thing I don't like about Street Fighter 6 is I can't link the capcom ID with the PS network. Is anyone else having this issue?
I had the issue, but it turns out you have to actually make a Capcom ID account. Are you stuck on the screen with that digital score image and the "external link"? If so, type that link into an internet browser. You'll go to a page where you'll be tasked to log in or create a CAPCOM ID account. Once you make the account and confirm your account through your email, you can link the PS and CC accounts on the game.
Dhalsim CPU lvl 8 turns the game in a survival horror.
I play fighting vs since 30 years, not pro just for fun and your right this game is amazing😊
I already spent 40h on the world tour mode. It's awesome. But I probably spent half of it in the character creation menu. xD
Akuma better have some new crazy stuff for him taking until next year to be released
When i first heard of world tout i thought it was stupid
After playing it, I love it
Its actually super fun
Loving this game my avatar looks 🔥🔥. World tour is fun. Some matches glitch a lil but overall this is a solid game.
If anyone has made a club in battle hub, im trying to join.
First time in years as an fgc guy i can go, "Yes, i absolutely got my money's worth, AND the game is incredible, AND it works."
Thank you CapGOD for creating PEAK Fighter 6!
The only criticism that I have is that they need to balance the characters more.
This isn’t exclusive to this game. The game mechanics are just about perfect.
Buff Dhalsim and Zangief and I’m pretty much happy.
30 minutes after going live, LTG said this game was trash. That’s when I knew how amazing this game truly is.
And in 2 weeks when something goes wrong with it, and yall start hating on it... think back to this
its a great looking game but as for your question goes on how do they top it i think theres still a lot of room for improvement with some of the character designs and the overall art style which still has a goofy nightmarish vibe to it that could be ironed out
You’re so right. Luke is an example of this, Ken default is an example of this etc
@@christoferprestipino7433 yea but then you have characters like JP… that guy is just amazing
@@Stanzbey69 agreed, they just need to iron out that freakazoid deign trait leftover from SF4.
I absolutely love this game and it instantly replaced V within seconds and I love everything about it
Haven’t been this excited since Alpha 2
Next thing they're going to do? Tekken x Streetfighter my man. I already see mechanics in both games that line up with each other.
Main line title though? I think they'll have to ride this wave for a while and really hunt for what can be added cause this game feels like the best parts of every Street Fighter ever made.
I personally don’t think that game will ever get made but who knows man I could be wrong. I think what we’re more likely to see happen than that is a capcom vs snk 3
@@jeremyroberts8822 I would love either of those crossovers tbh. We're long overdo for SvC3.
Love the game not had as much fun in a fighting game in a long time
I regret covering a shift today at work.
Its a masterpiece but capcom need to rethink their monetization with this game
A battlepass plus dlc
I think that's a bit too much
That aside
Plus the biggest L right now is the pc version
Filled with denuvo cancer, runs way worse than the beta or the demo
And some people have constant crashes and way more aggressive slowdowns even on high end or mid high end hardware
They can optimize the game to run on the taito type x4 machine which has an ancient 4th gen core i5 cpu and a gtx 960
But they cannot optimize it to run on hardware 3 or 4 times more powerful than that
Benchmark gave me a score of 96 with 100 on both fighting ground and battlehub on high settings
On launch version game is like 40 fps on the same settings
Its wild
I'am jealous the console people don't have to deal with this shit
i had like 12 hours played of the demo not including the beta, that's how I knew this game was legit
Guys who will play this game for a living and need it to be successful think it is amazing shocker.
Nah I need to know why tf is sf6 isn't available on Xbox one but it's on the series 😤😤😤😤 I need sum answers
Lol I hated DI until I stopped thinking like a scrub now I actually quite like it
My only problem with SF6 is the lack of legacy characters making this finished release feel like an early access game; that said, it's a problem which will resolve itself in the years to come.
SF6's roster size is small but every character has love put into em + the rest of the game has so much effort into it that it's somewhat negligible compared to say GG Strive or SFV
That said I still wish they went a SF3 route and like left out the World Warriors.
Revamping characters & mechanics us fine, but I feel like they should still have a good amount of legacy skill.
It clearly does still to some extent as a fair few moves are the same across all the games
I happen to see LTG video playing SF6
The first non-nrs fighting game I've been able to get into
Besides drive impact. Every single thing in SF6 makes it the perfect Fighting Game to ever release in todays age.
I agree. Drive Impact is just straight game breaking and unbeatable.
It's not most multi hit EX moves will curb stomp a drive impact or you can just parry it as well or drive impact on react
Like i didn’t even name all the ways you can beat it
KK: "I don't like parry"
JW: ye... *flashbacks*
LMAOOO. PTSD
I think is more suitable to say "stable version" when talking about Street Fighter.
i dont hate this game, i just want one green bar for every one attack like that thats green, simply put thats it. games great.
I like how you said a bunch of nonsense followed by "simply that's it" lmao you baboon brained, homunculus.
The game only will be perfect if they put Dudley and Fei Long in the game. Then it will be perfect.
Smug is going to die of happy when dudley will announced
Ah yes very original, an almost fully generic boxer and a Bruce Lee clone for a fighting game. I have never seen that done before. I don't think they would be willing to take such risk, Yah know.
@twoshirts1842 Why not, I mean they've already put a damn ballerina and West Indian girl with two sticks on the game. Make it make sense before opening your mouth.

Broo this is the best fighting game ever but later you need to play with classic controll cuz thats when the real fun begins
I'll buy it when ed us available
Are we OK with not buying finished games? Are we? just playing and ignoring what ever effect us?
I hate that Manon can't confirm into hit grab from anything except her stubbiest back heavy punch without spending drive gauge... I hate that only one of Manon's heavies is cancelable at all into anything at all and its the damn back heavy punch... why don't her mediums at least cancel into the light hit grab? That means that hit grab during neutral always costs 3 drive gauges unless anti-airing and that costs 1 to 2 drive bars... Its just disappointing to have Manon resort to being gimmicky...
The fighting is super fun and good. I still find a lot of the characters a bit over the top or cringy as hell but I think that’s just street fighter.
Yea SF5 was awful, it held garbage players hands too much.
Colors/costumes costing $120 out the gate for the base roster if you want/need a second setup for locals/tournaments is inexcusable, and Capcom should be heavily shamed for this kind of cash grab.
It’s not 120??
@@alejandromomota6934 it costs about $120 to buy the coins to unlock the colors and the secondary costume for the base roster.
Given how common it is to own fighting games on two platforms (PC for home play, and console to bring to events), and how most commonly the setup that travels is a secondary, a lot of people are going to own a copy of SF6 on a platform they won't grind, and if they want colors on that platform they're going to need to buy them.
And the amount needed to buy them in one go is $100 for the colors and $20 for the costumes.
@@shadowseal22 you can unlock them in world tour if you dont want to pay
