Fun fact: The fans expected that ONLY CL will perform because Bom had scandal in Korea (that is why people go crazy when Bom show up). And so their group didn't show up for a long time. And for the first time in a while, CL brought 2ne1 on MAMA without any preparation or rehearsal because this is a SURPRISE PERFORMANCE. This is the most hot topic in 2015 and still legendary performance. Gives me chills still.

They say this is the last Best MAMA that ever happened when YG artist literally took over the awards night and turned it into their concert. Besides Bigbang's performance, this is one of the most iconic performance that night since 2ne1's appearance is a huge surprised among kpop fans. It's just so sad that this is their last. Damn I miss them :"(

This is their last performance as a group. CL was the only one who's supposed to perform that night. It was kept as an absolute secret that 2NE1 would perform. no one knows, even the staffs...only the Director knows thats why people are so surprised when 2ne1 came popping up from the floor especially Bom. They did not rehease this stage.This is a remarkable performance for us Blackjacks..

MAMA used have the best performances ever - sadly after 2015 all YG artists boycotted MAMA because they are not honest and fair with their awards (GD's rap.) 2ne1 and Bigbang were the best performances of the night by far, and even more so because 2ne1 were not supposed to be there, they had not performed together in a long time so that is why the whole crowd went nuts when Dara came out. Sadly, this was their last performance before their disbandment

YES! for me 2015 MAMA was the best MAMA ever with BB, 2NE1 & iKON!!🔥 YG stop letting their artists going to MAMA since 2015 because they have beef with Mnet (the organizer of the show). Mnet is a bad broadcasting company tho. They manipulate voting, mistreat artists and give out awards to artists who only attend the show, etc. GD even dissed them on their own show at 2014. That's why YG artists don't go on any shows related to mnet anymore.

You should look at MTBD by CL as well, I think you'll like it. Fire was their debut track, and this was their last performance together, so it means a lot to Blackjacks. This was also Bom's return to the public after a 'drug' scandal (she was taking ritalin for adhd but the media skewered her and her company called her a drug dealer instead of being supportive). It doesn't show at the end because this camera switched to Dara, but after they are standing in file at the end, Bom bows to the audience. It was her way of saying thank you to all the fans who stood by her side and helping her return. Thats why even though the performance is really hype whenever we hear 'I go by the name of CL of 2ne1' we start crying...

Even though it turned out to be not a crime, adderall is still banned for sale in South Korea so she had to have it prescribed and bought in the US. Koreans have very narrow views on mental health issues and their medications. It’s the media corporations who own all the music, variety and radio shows, they’re the ones who ban idols with scandals from appearing. This iswhy it’s taken so long for Park Bom to make a comeback.
Deedee Schway yeah i messed up it was adderall, and she had a prescription in the us. But for her, yang hyunsuk wrote a note addressing it in which he did more harm than good, and he repeatedly called her a drug dealer in it and exposed secrets about her that she didn’t give permission for (it was in response to the media). That did more harm because people took it as an admission on his part. When she signed w dnation they had to release a statement clarifying the situation, and they lowkey slammed yhs for his response in it.

It was only supposed to be CL who would perform there but she called up her girls and they flew all the way to HK right away. It was a surprise perf for 2ne1. No one knew, except for CL and the director. MAMA also didn't know about the surprise perf. And because of that, they performed without rehearsal. Such great performers.

I remember the day of this award show. Twitter made 2NE1 as their account header. They shookt the world with this surprise performance. The 3 members didnt even showed up for the practice rehearsal before the live event, booked different planes, and only producer of the show knows about it.
