  • 👍 In this video, I’m going to show you how to turn a computer on remotely with a smartphone. Your Windows operating system offers an option to schedule when exactly your computer turns on. But in this video, I’ll show you how to wake your PC by Wi-Fi with an Android smartphone, and how to turn on a computer remotely even if you are far away.

    Thanks for video, trying to use iOS teamviewer app to turn on by Lan, why does the app work but not teamviewer?

    • @HetmanRecovery
      @HetmanRecovery  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are using the iOS TeamViewer app to connect to a remote computer or device via LAN, make sure you have an active connection to the LAN network.
      Also make sure that TeamViewer Host is installed and running on the computer or device you are trying to connect to. If TeamViewer Host is not installed, you will not be able to connect to the remote computer or device via TeamViewer.
      Also make sure that the TeamViewer settings on the remote computer or device allow for remote control via LAN. To do this, open TeamViewer Host and select the "Remote Control" tab. Under "LAN", make sure that the "Allow LAN connections only" option is set to "Yes".
      Finally, check the settings on your mobile device. Make sure that you are connected to the same LAN as the computer or device you are trying to connect to via TeamViewer.
      If you are still having problems with TeamViewer, try to contact TeamViewer support or use another application for remote device management.

    Hello boss, I'm trying to follow you tutorial but my wake on lan app can't find any device even if the pc and the smartphone are connected to the same wifi? Does wake on lan works even if the pc is connected by wifi?

    • @JoeMata31
      @JoeMata31 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe wake on lan only works when the pc is connected using an Ethernet cable

    Can it also work for a PC that is stuck? I mean, is it possible to set the power off of a PC that is has been stuck and after that to turn it back on?

      Plug your computer into smart plug operated by your phone via wifi. So you can turn it off whenever you want.

      @@HetmanRecovery I'm having the same issue. If I am connected to my home network on my phone via wifi, I can use the app to wake my computer. If I turn my wifi off on my phone and use cell data, i can no longer wake up the computer. Do I have to set up a static IP or something?

    This is useless..I can only wake up the computer if i am on the local network, aka same wifi. Meaning i will be physically there. If that's the case, i can do it myself. but how can i wake up the laptop if i am in another country and want to use it remotely

      I'm researching this right now. At this point I came up with an idea how to do it, but it's not so simple.
      1st you need 2 phones, 1 with you and one at your home (plugged in)
      2nd have the two phones connected via team viewer
      3rd remotely control your home-based phone which is connected to local network, and use it to wake up the computer like shown in this video
      4th once the pc is up, have team viewer start with the windows, and you can connect via team viewer directly to your pc using your main phone. Also doing this you can manualy start steam, and even use steam link to stream and play games in another country, using your phone
