- Hey guys, here's a quick video guide on how to use a Bluetooth controller to play Genshin Impact on an Android phone using a key mapper, from configuring the app to assigning keys to the device.

I'm using a Mi9t pro with the same controller as you, but the game crashes when I enter in the game by octopus
oh nice SD855, try lowering the settings first then connect controller then adjust accordingly, if the octopus crash thats okay just resume the game, its just the app not the game(genshin) unless you experiencing differently
also if this version crashing too often for you try the playstore version instead.

Why those it always say there was a problem loading genshin impact after 2-3 minutes
Allowing all of those permissions is sketchy as hell. I’m just gonna stick with my thumbs until actual controller support is added or something.

I set all but when i open game whit octopus it start download again
make sure you use the same version used in the video. link in the description or Google the exact version
I download the same version but when I tried to log in my mihoyo account it says successfully then nothing just stuck at the log in screen I tried to press log in it will let you do the verification but same thing all over again, are you having this issue now?

check for your device process manager or basically just end task all unnecessary apps that runs on bg usually these are msg/fb etcetc. are u using the same version btw

so what happens when you open the bag or when you equip items for a character? do you still use the touchscreen?
its up to you if you wanted to assign more virtual keys, coz if needed you can add more, in the video i only used 4keys + 2 diag for movement and camera.
Hello, I just got octopus 6.0, the game keeps crashing once I started playing, after all the loads. Is this normal? How did you do yours? I hope you could help me because I just got a controller for this game and it would be a bummer that I couldn't use it
sometimes it does that just try click the app again and youll notice virtual buttons still up in game despite octopus crashing
But how about switching Character/hero? Where's the button?

what controller model are you using? make sure its on Bluetooth mode to pair with your phone, search your controller model and for how to connect/pair guide on google so the app can recognized it

are you using the same version? use a dummy gmail to login using octopus do the same procedure ive done on the video, google the version i provided in the description

what version you are using? try to remove all virtual Buttons and redo the positioning
@@GamingMeTV Hi, thank you for your answer but I managed to find, I no longer use touchscreen, but I use an iPega pg 9083s controller and thanks to that I can reverse the camera joysticks

i agree that the permission being asked is somewhat too much, thats why i adviced using dummy account. but alot of ppl using this especially for FPS games(pubg/cod etcetc) as for playstore - no idea, but they were able to sell it on playstore(pro) with Google permission ya

for IOS yes, but for Android u need third party app and this MIGHT ban your account

Yes po. Kaso need magswitch ng kb to gamepad para magamit yung keys. Kb (analog) and gp (axyb)
im using oppo f11 pro with ps4 controller, everytime na-iopen ko yung app sa octopus sabi "game crashed"
it happens sometimes try to ignore it and alt tab / task bar then go back to game usually octopus still running

still using same account with controller - but yah its a gray area about them not liking using a 3rd party apps but imo its not a hack that gives you advantage its more of a lil comfort that let you play using controller nothing more. up to you ;)

lag gonna defend on your device capabilities (cpu/gpu and memory) no matter how much tweaking we do if the phone model we used isnt meeting game's required specs it will lag.

Is it safe using a keymapper on the game? Doesn't it counts as a plugin or third party app and you may end up getting banned?
imo, this type of game isn't really competitive its more of a rpg/explore kind of thing which is good compared to FPS game like fortnite/PuBg and alike with they consider it as AN ADVANTAGE. for genshin impact case i think they won't really bother if their players wanna use a controller to move around using a controller + keymapper. besides we are just basically using Bluetooth+controller no hack. just other means of playing the game in more comfortable settings. hope this helps although if you're not comfortable using it thats okay too. :) but for me i think you should take advantage of the comfort and how it is enjoyable to play on controller.

again whatever version u have installed remove it - the version ive used is showed on the video also in the description - google the SAME version, download and install - you wont get any prompt for payment as for Genshin policy this is a gray area imo - its not a hack just a lil comfort thing that let u use controller, use it at your own risk im still using it
