And German has so many dialects, you could make up any faux dialect and still legimatly claim its imitating German. Just watch "Das Boot" (in German) and you get through a very good collection of dialects.
The one thing I wished y'all had been able to include in the lyrics was how Ford got kicked out of almost every company he founded - which then went on to become his direct competition (Cadillac, Dodge, etc).

I actually think Henry Ford vs Karl Marx was the best battle you guys have ever done. The raps hit incredibly hard, the historical references were incredible, production was off the charts. So many lines had double meanings, when you break down the entire battle it really encourages you to actually learn the history so you can appreciate the depth of the writing. And the whole thing sounds sick. Incredible!
As a history teacher, love the amount of effort you guys put into research and accents. I love sharing your videos with students, clean versions when I can and tell them to watch them at home when I can't. I may even use this one when we cover the Gilded Age later this year!

Lloyd's make up is, once again, ridiculously good. There were moments and shots that looked so accurate they were biopic quality. That's a HELL of a makeup job for just 90 minutes of chair time.
Remember the reactions to Thanos vs. Oppenheimer? Everyone was like, "How is Oppenheimer supposed to be a threat?!" and then the battle came so then they were like, "How was Thanos supposed to have a chance?!". 😁
I never watched one of these BTS videos before. But I had to since Ford v Marx just got into my head and I needed to know more. I gotta say, the amount of research and work you all put into these videos is incredible. It's always been obvious that y'all work your asses off but to see what goes into the production really brings it home. No wonder your content has been so good for so long! Shit, Lloyd is over here learning an extinct Prussian accent so he can have a unique sound for a guy whose voice was literally never recorded. Not to mention learning all these obscure facts to actually write the raps.

One small thing: Karl's birthplace Trier lies in the far west of Germany (directly on the border with Luxembourg) and only became part of Prussia in 1816 (2 years before Marx was born), more or less as a Prussian conquest after the Napoleonic Wars. His accent was therefore Rhinelandic/Moselle-Franconian, not Prussian (which was in the far east). However, it probably sounded quite similar to English ears, so it still fits ^^
For the record, I never was in a coma but I was just imagining if someone woke up from a year long coma and seeing this sorry if anyone misunderstood the meaning of this comment. I've just missed erb and it's nice they're putting quality over quantity 👍

I've been a fan of ERB for a year now, and the last battle released at the time was Lara Croft vs. Indiana Jones. This is the first battle I saw released, and it's a banger.
Feels like a complete return to form with a new evolved style each time you guys step back into the limelight. The detail work on the lyrics is honestly my favorite part of all of it, it makes everything feel so on point with the historical accuracy. You guys are always a joy to watch!

As a Marxist, it's always interesting to me to see the various ways people come to actually reading Marx instead of just believing whatever they've heard about him. Researching him in order to write a rap for a rap battle video is certainly one of the more interesting ways I've heard lmao. But I'm glad y'all did.

Would you consider maybe going a lil in depth about in some of the lines in the battles in these Behind the scenes because even if its just some stuff, learning stuff is still cool, like how Sabaton has a history channel where they post a explanation of the historical event they are singing about giving you more appreciation of the song and of the historical event as well.
I always enjoy the Behind The Scenes! Seeing how fun they're having, and I also get to learn a thing or two about the process of the videos. Sometimes, more fun factoids about the characters!

Everyone thinks about the Roman Empire guys remember.. and you've wanted to do Nixon for a long time. It's the perfect matchup. As a Marxist, it's always interesting to me to see the various ways people come to actually reading Marx instead of just believing whatever they've heard about him. Researching him in order to write a rap for a rap battle video is certainly one of the more interesting ways I've heard lmao. But I'm glad y'all did.
Marxism requires a certain level of interest, too little and you just believe the common consensus that he was a nutcase. Too much interest and you actually read his work to discover he was a nutcase with a savior complex.

Epic rap battles of history are really epic
Battle idea: I think it would be cool to make battle with some Chinese leaders, kinda like Russia ones
Few interesting people who could be featured
- Mao Zedong, obviously
- Qin Shi Huang, First Emperor of China
- Liu Bang/Emperor Gazou, man who went from average citizen to the emperor
- Puyi, Last Emperor of china, man who went from the emperor to average citizen
If they do that I think it's a necessity to also add Deng Xiaoping to the mix, like they did with Gorbachov in the Russian one

puyi is the only one I wouldn't include from this list because realistically he didn't actually do anything. his life story is interesting yes but he spent most of it either in exile, as a regular citizen, or as a puppet politician under the japanese. he's notable for his status as the last emperor of china, but not for anything he actually did or believed in as that emperor

I'm going to go back and watch some more, there's an incredible amount of stuff that goes into the 3-5 minute long battle videos that I enjoy so much. Keep up the awesome work, y'all!

Would you consider maybe going a lil in depth about in some of the lines in the battles in these Behind the scenes because even if its just some stuff, learning stuff is still cool, like how Sabaton has a history channel where they post a explanation of the historical event they are singing about giving you more appreciation of the song and of the historical event as well.

The long awaited President Nixon who attempted to hold onto power by cheating and forced to release it versus Cincinnatus- the Roman Senator who didn't desire absolute power, wanted to work and keep to his farm, but after many people begged him to save them he took power temporarily, secured their independence, and willing relinquished & refused absolute power twice after completing his duty.
Everyone thinks about the Roman Empire guys remember.. and you've wanted to do Nixon for a long time. It's the perfect matchup.
You should do Richard Nixon (The Crook[-ed politician] & The Liar) vs Cincinnatus (The Relenquisher [of power] & Truth Teller)
Pete's expressions as Ford are a lot like his Mr. Rogers.
