My hubs was exactly like Carlo, he never met a stranger. He could talk for days to anyone about anything. I am quite the introvert, so you can imagine all the times I fumed from waiting and waiting for him to stop talking and get to work, or come to the car, or be ready to go wherever we were going. But that is who he was, and people instantly liked him. Sorry that the pool has turned into such a job, but I know that by now you have been dipping in it with huge smiles. Thanks for sharing!!

I would leave Positano and live here permanently it is easier to walk the dogs and all the stairs up and down, I wouldn't like it etc. etc. and you have a fantastic view what a beautiful pool, it will be fine and then cool off nicely

My husband and I have been married 42 years and he never ever went anywhere without greeting everyone he knew and did not know! It drove me crazy because I just wanted to have a conversation and he would be making new friends. I'd give anything to have him well enough to do that now. We really admire all the hard work you and Carlo put into your homes and we enjoy every vlog you put out. I was watching this particular vlog with my 8 year old grandson and he said "Grandma, don't you think that is a nice pool? I think it's beautiful!" I had to agree, I really do think it's beautiful! When you will be in the water, you will smile remembering all this trouble. The feel of a community is amazing there, helping each other or just talking. I guess these are the moments that matter, friendships and memories. Again, the sunflowers are gorgeous, thank you for a few moments of day dreaming. If I could exist even for a few days in such warm climate I would start to plan for a trip there, I August, when the sunflowers 🌻 are glorious!❤❤❤

if they plant neem saplings around that area it should take care of the insect issue. Peppermint & rosemary too are said to be insect repellent
