Only kid in my school that listened to GNR, Quiet Riot, etc. My first concert was in summer 1989 and it was Tesla as the opener and Poison as the headliner because my dad wouldn't let me listen to GNR, that was only allowed at Mom's house! 😂

I love the terminator whole thing (as soon as smart phones became a thing i was like this is skynet straight up) & i was hanging about with a girl i went to school with & her much older sister. We would have this cranked up, driving around doing nothing. The music out was all so good. I had just started going to gigs so I was like 13/14. Ah it was a simple time
Became friends with Slash on their first BIG show in Dallas, opening for INXS at Texas Stadium. He is so kind, super intelligent and a great person to know. No ego whatsoever. ☮️❤️😎🎼

My personal memory regarding Terminator 2. It came out around my 16th bday so I got to see it on my bday. I was a big Arnold fan at the time. My best friend who had moved away came to visit, so she and my mother went with me. During the opening credits, probably when his name came up, a man yelled "Ar-nold!" lol. I got a t-shirt with Terminator 2 on it also, should still have it somewhere.
I have to say, the late 80s and early 90s was the BEST era for music. We had all the classic stadium cheese of the 1980s with the awesomeness that was Grunge.
I would love to see ur reaction to either Rocket Queen Live in Tokyo 92 or the Freddie Mercury tribute Knockin on Heavens Door. Both are incredible live performances
