    Great video Barry
Trident is the absolute sleeper right now. High quality, ‘do no harm’ type eq sounds. I could see myself having a rack of 8 of these.

Thanks for the video Barry! I've been curious about these and this review is really well done. Great workaround with the trim plugin, it seems like that's a super important way to get the most out it. Hopefully I'll get to check one out in person sometime! Cheers -James

Hi Barry. Does this compare to a Moog style ladder filter at all?

In a way yes---although the Moog Ladder filter is specifically designed as an effect whereas the Trident is a way to use a variable High or Low pass filter in a more aggressive way dependent on the source's completely. There are two filters in the Trident that can be in series for up to 48dB!
Hope that answers your question! Thanks!
      BTW:
I'd love to try out the Moog filter one day and you might want to check my Mix Magazine review of the the Trident Hi-Lo at:

That's useful cheers. I was looking for something with a nice balance of utility and character. Able to warm up synths but also prepare vocals for compression.
My initial plan was LTL Chopshop, but I'm intrigued by these.
