    I’ve got the older Marlin 30-30, with the brass lever. My favorite firearm out of the eleven I own.

      Canadian Classics it was my grandfather’s. It’s a ‘75 with the “gold” trigger, and no cross-bolt safety. Perfect condition. I’ve never seen anybody else with one. I’m pretty sure the lever was a customization after purchase, but not sure.

    My dad has his great grandfather's Winchester pre 64, 94 30-30. It's the best 30-30 I've personally ever worked the action on. It's all original, and it's action is still so smooth. I took my first deer with it when I was 12. I'm 48 now, and my dad still hunts with it to this day.

    Every deer Ive ever shot, minus 1, has been with my marlin 30-30. Shot my first one at about 12 years old about 150 yrds out with iron sights! Awesome rifles.

    I have mine chambered in 32 win special :) it was my grandfather's go to hunting rifle was made in 1948 and she still works like a charm more of an occasional shooting or hunting rifle it is my baby and I baby it so it lasts forever:)

    My great grandfather gave me my great grandmothers Glenfield 30a about 3 years ago. I never met her, but i Always try to get at least 1 deer a year with it.

    my first deer rifle I bought for deer hunting was a marlin in 1967 at 18yrs old . still have it at 74 yrs old

    My Pop's use to buy those back in the day and sell them before Deer season...He had a connection.😎 Miss my Pop's.... I have his shotgun but the rifles were sold in Previous year's...and his Colt revolvers....To provide during struggling year's.

    Awesome, beautiful rifle. I spent few years hunting with my Winchester 30-30. Absolutely love lever actions. Light weight, fast to get into position for a shot. I have various ARs. But, I do prefer wood and steel.

    I have a similar.35 Remington 336 Marlin, gold trigger and horse scabbard came with it. Originally owned by One of the Augustus Bushes. Long story, love it as a brush/swap deer rifle. Easy to handle in closed corners. You sure have an awesome collection!

    You can't go wrong with a lever action, especially in 30-30 or my favorite 35 rem Cal

      Only problem with 35 rem is finding ammo right now but it’s a fantastic cartridge

      @@canadianclassics Yeah the ammo is limited,I live and hunt in Florida I tried the leverevolution stuff it's accurate but I found on these small deer here it doesn't expand well, and the deer runs forever compared to my old ammo 200 gr soft point where the deer would just drop on the spot

      .35 Remington fan here. Shopping around in January I found .50 BMG surplus cheaper than .35 by a dollar per round!
      Why does the industry want to let this excellent cartridge die?
      The same industry that introduces "NEW! SUPER WHIZ-BANG!" calibers during an ammo drought...
      Best idea I can come up with is to buy a set of dies and find brass anywhere you can.

    I love my .308 Savage model 99 feather weight. It is very smooth with the brass rotary magazine follower. 👌

      @@canadianclassics I've had great experience with this rifle. My dad had one built in 1946, in .300 Sav. The feather weight has a lighter weight barrel and is shorter too. The quality of these is remarkable. And accurate as well.

    The first ever rifle that I got that’s a lever action (or onto if it’s labeled as one) is a .250-3000 SAVAGE sadly the barrel is slightly bent and it’s a pain to reload but it’s a wonderful fun especially when it was made in its day, still love to take it out and shoot it from time to time, the thing is beautiful I’ll tell ya that

    I have a savage model 99 in 300 savage.I've had it for a long time.Made in 1954,lever action rotating magazine and a round counter on the side so you know how many rounds you have in the rifle. It's never let me down.

    First rifle I shot, first buck (4pt) and first rifle I ever bought with my own money; half of my summers wages mowing lawns was a 30/30 Marlin. Love the beefy report, and to me it's sound is in a class of it's own. There's something different about it like the AK. Beautiful.

    I inherited a 1930's made winchester 94 in .32 special and a custom saddle holster for it. Aside from ammo availability its a great rifle and in decent shape for its age

    Mine is similar, it's a M45 J.C Higgins marlin 336A. It was free with no bolt asmy, got a bolt asmy for $80 & all is well😊

    I just recently found one of these at a small gunshop for $225 and it is mint and had a leather sling with cartridge loops and a leather cartridge carrier on the stock. The action is butter smooth.

    My grandfather has a Marlin 30-30 lever action it’s a good gun especially for the price but if I’m being perfectly honest I absolutely love and stand by my Henry lever action 30-30 golden boy with the heavy Octagon barrel that was my dream gun since I was 15 years old and I bought it a little while back for $900 In perfect condition and it’s a fun gun to shoot and hunt with

      It was the first lever I bought 3 years ago I paid $450 with three boxes of ammo so like $360 for the gun 😂 a steal in todays market

    It's crazy, I've been watching this for the last ten minutes, and he's put 40 rounds into this thing, and no matter how many times he pulls the lever, ammo never comes out

    I have a Glenfield mod 60 .22lr Semi Auto, Got it for my 11th 🎂 birthday present!..."1975" it is still as new. I have owned Several 336's. Even though they are a little heavier than a Winchester 97 I prefer the Marlin.

    My Grandpa bought a marlin 30-30 when he was 19 in the 70s. He dropped many bucks, my dad dropped one, and now it's my turn. Had no luck last year. Hoping I get one the next season.
