Hello, another great scratch build. The one thing that I was amazed with was, the making of the "glue" mould for the tile roof. I have never seen that done. So, as always I have learnt something new. Thanks again. See ya next time.
Great, admirable result! So much relaxing to watch. I wish you made a demo of the lamp at dusk - it was my favorite piece of this model. I was actually very surprised you didn't use the typical Swedish faluröd color with white framings ;)
Thank you so much for doing what you do. Your presentations are incredibly well done. You educate without talking down to your listeners. Keep up the GREAT work!
Yes another great video. Keep up the good work you are doing you make your video's so interesting. Love seeing the finished product. You give lots of great ideas in your videos also.
Hallo Marklinofsweden.
Great video, especially the roof technique... I’ve not seen that done before but I’m going to give it a try on my next scratch build!!! Cheers from Melbourne Australia
Martin, I adore your idea of using store bought molded styrene as a mold itself for a PVA casting. Helt lysande. My great-grandparents were from Tol'anga. So that and Mongatack are the limit of my Swedish. Now a comment. Your use of White paint inside the mounted lamp is OK, however, here in the U.S. & Canada we have a plastic based paint called PLASTI DIP. Copy cats from other major paint producer are also made. This material is quite brushable and when it drys it is a permanent bonding insulator. For all of your videos we ex-patriots say MONGATACK, Jim
I appreciate your tutorial. I've thought about crafting things with wood, but never had much confidence in my abilities. I feel quite inspired, and when I start working on my model train layout again, I'll probably build the mining structures this way. By the way, with the orange roof, the shed reminds me of the Howard Johnson hotels and restaurants that used to be all over the United States (sadly they are almost all gone now and the company I think has one or two locations left).
Thanks for this interesting tutorial Martin ! Making roof tiles with carpenters glue is on my 'to do' list. Great tip ! Cheers & happy model railroading.
Do you have an educational background that helps you with the hobby or is this something you have learned over the years? I am fascinated by your work!!!!
I have become a Gold member of the Model Railway Academy, I love your video here and there too thank you for such excellent content. I am curious as to where you get your figures.
Another masterpiece! Thank´s for sharing and for all the inspiration and tips. It helps me, to create the model of the old Jerusalem train station I´m building for the train museum in Haifa. :)
Hey, that's a great idea of making a mock up first. I do a lot of scratch building myself. I make my own windows since my scale is just a little larger than HO scale. I scratch build for O scale--have to use a larger scale 'cause I'm so clumsy. O scale is a little more forgiving. Great tutorial.
Great video. I will have to make some building soon and this will help. I have looked at all of your videos I believe and I did not see any on building a bridge out of wood. Would you make a video on building wooden bridges? Thank you.
Great tutorial. I love to scratch build, but my techniques are a little different as I "invent" the process as I go (on the fly). I do admire your ability to make it look real, especially by adding the light fixture and adding an LED to light it up. I probably would only have lit the interior instead of the exterior.
Hi Mark, One question regarding your technique using glue mould for the roof tiles, would the relief not be 'reversed'? I was thinking about adopting a similar approach for brick walls but assumed this would not work as the mortar joints would stick out rather than recess in?
This is beyond amazing. I love that grass, those trees and foliage, and the woodshed is brilliant. I need help with identifying all the materials you use and some possible alternatives since it's impossible to find most in south america! For example, how can i replace that patterned wood if it's not available here? Any tips? Your videos are always great! Cheers from Argentina
you and your burned Umber ;) nearly every Video =) Love the build, Looks so freaking realistic and good ! Well done =) Excuse my english im german and my english is not the best xD
Hello Marklinofsweden. I searched the site. Unfortunately, this is not so great, because finding something is not so easy. Could you send me the links to the products you use? So the wood for the outer boards and the gate? Many thanks
Why does the structure seem to be mirrored in some parts of the video? In some sections the window is to the left of the sliding door while in others the window is to the right of the sliding door.
"Let's not talk more and get started." Other TH-camrs would be well advised to follow this axiom! Well Done!
Beautiful work, thanks!
Probably one of the 10 best scratch building tutorials on TH-cam. Amazing job
Também acredito nesta afirmação.

You did a good job, not only on the building, but on the lighting of the scene...very realistic!

White framing was used for living houses etc. Black was used for industrial.
I absolutely love this scratch build video. Except for that fact that you make it all look so easy! Great video. Thanks from the US. Very helpful.

Hi Martin,
I love this Video. Wood glue is back!! 👍
It's really cool how you make things from (nearly) nothing.
Greetings, A
AWESOME!
Nice tutorial. Your voice is so relaxing 🤗😁

Your Videos are very good!
Couleur you do an Video how you have build your railroad?
Always informative - always fun! Good video, Martin!
Awesome! Well done!
Try sticky back sandpaper on your block for much more accurate sanding. It's even better on a aluminum T bar.

marklinofsweden Hej is it possible to pre-colour the Roof Mould by adding colour to the white glue.
Good job! But why have you done the internal floor?

Brillant and Top

Grear. I am afraid of using wood. I use a lot of styrene. Keep up the good work
