I have the number 1 of this list and being an owner of some of the best 1/8 cars in the world (tlr 8t 4.0, serpent cobra truggy, kyosho inferno and others) i totally agree with you..this little thing pushes the envelope in terms of performance and durability..

Love my Serpent Cobra truggy but get worried about part support. I run in mainly on 4s and send it.

I do really enjoyed all your RC reviews on cheap rc cars. They're great honestly. I bought my 1st crawler based on your reviews. And since then not looking back. Love this. Got a few of them myself including the HBX 16889 (Ravage) which I always recommend as it’s superb. The little 1/18 HS too is one of my favourites - the brushless model is brilliant fun!

The HBX drift car i think is probably my next buy, if I don't go for the brushless Lancia Delta. (I already have a brushed version of sg 1604)

Oh look at that! Your Favorite cheap RC is my favorite as well. I've got one of the brushed versions, but still a hell of a lot of fun and very reliable. Oil dampers are key.

Couldn’t agree more with your no.1 choice . We have a brushless 16889 and the newer flyhal fc600 (the all-metal drivetrain truggy version of the “Pro” ravage you are featuring here). Both brilliant. In fact, second only to our LC Racing EMBT which we bought on your recommendation !

Don't let stupid people put you down. Expensive rc stuff are great, but not for everyone. I'd rather have fun with cheap stuff than be afraid to play with something. It's not worth it!

I'm still having a blast with the WL Toys 12402-A I picked up a couple of months back after watching your videos about it. It was around the time the 104009 ame out and I didn't like the metal a arms and a couple of other small things about it, so I looked for an alternative to it. I put a brushless setup in it , oil shocks on it, and it's been awesome!

the EAT10 is great. its still working till this day, which is suprising for me (i got it in february) and i even got a new paint job and some new colors for the rims for it. its looks great. no issues yet.
Great list! EAT10 big advantage is that it's bulletproof and it has all metal drive line available. Mine brushless goes 60 kmh. And my son just can't break it.

Tomley RC, I put drift wheels on my EAT10 brushless and WOW!!!!! You want to have fun? Turn an EAT10 into a drifter. Wild indoor winter FUN! ;-)
One thing I'd like to mention about the Eachine/WLtoys 144001 is that they use a similar chassis to the LC Racing but it's not the same. I bought the LC Racing extended chassis for a project but the holes don't line up on the bulkhead or the motor mounts.
Eat14, i have one and the way you fix clogging is use a program card for the esc and it fixes it 💯. You may have one laying around from a brushless motor & esc combo you purchased in the past or you can pick a hobby wing card from Amazon or eBay for $15-$20 shipped 😉👍🏼
I bought an LC Racing EMB-1 kit on AliExpress for $147 (incl tax & shipping!) during the 11/11 sales. Can't beat that value!

I did pick up sg 1602 brushless 2 weeks ago as the number 1 on your list isn't available to ship to my country.. well I will just get upgraded oil shocks for it, I think that will do right ??

Thanks Daryl, it all depends of what electronics they are using. Some kid the cheap program cards (with the little led lights) work with quite a few different brands
Are the wltoys lipos safe? Read a lot of stuff online about fires which puts me off. Really want one of the small scale ones

I gotta say m8 u can't go wrong with any of them for the price, I'm looking for a cheapish crawler for my lil lad as he uses a wpl c24 pick up (kit version) but he's always wanting to go on my scx10.3 but he hasn't got the throttle control just yet as he's just turned 5, he is getting there tho just needs a bit more practice on something a bit cheaper 😄

One reason for 10 models. I've got the impression the main purpose is to make some affiliate money
I make many videos to showcase cheaper more affordable RC’s…. As a result of them reviews I make some commission through affiliate sales. However, if you add up the amount of commission and divide it by the amount of hrs it takes to not just make these videos, but run/manage a TH-cam Channel… it’s not actually that well paid 😅. That’s why i still have a full time job (which pays more than this ‘side hustle’)
Need help, looking for a micro crawler that has the easiest transmitter to only use one hand. My father (nearly 70) only has use of his right side limbs due to a stroke.
Hi Dave, I’m nearly 70 in ok health apart from the arthritis, if my kids bought me an rc for Christmas 🎅 I’d be over the moon 🌙, just make sure that the transmitter has a foam or rubber wheel on it for one handed driving.

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have a Suzuki Jimny V3 Rock cruiser and I have to pull the trigger back twice for forward and once to got back. It seems to be back the front. Is hat right?
Sounds like the motor wires need swapping around
@@TomleyRC Thank you. The RC shop here wont help me because I got my Suzuki off Amazon and didn't get it from them. I think it is childish if you ask me. As I am new to all of this I wouldn't have a clue what to do and don't know anyone that can help me so I will just have to cut my losses with it. NOTE don't buy any RC's off the internet if you can't fix them yourself if any thing goes wrong.
