Things don't always work out the way they are planned but with a positive attitude, spirit, enthusiasm, and determination, you made things work out just fine in the end Christina. It appears to me that both your friends and you had a great time anyway. I am certain that with the presence of you three fun loving ladies, the campground was all the better for it. You are right, while camping in a campground with others, it does become a little community. Next year's get together will be even better for sure. @@Womaninthewoods13 Yes, it is in the Mazury region, snow has gone now, we have had temperatures from -21°c - +28°c ( last week), that's almost a 50°c swing, we had our first thunder 3 days ago, it should continue to climb to +37° in the summer though ( Africa😅).
My favourite home was in Lapland Finland, 160km above the Arctic, l experienced -36°c there with a wind chill of -54°c across the open lake.
Nature is beautiful, but she can kill you.
