The 3.0 is designed to function as a DRL, when the voltage drops from 6-9v it runs at 30% brightness, supposed to be the only LED currently able to do that.

Due to DOT regulations, many of the LED'S on the market have to be sold as "fog light use" or "off road use" only. Technically, one would be in violation of DOT standards by running these as a high or low beam, but it's highly unlikely you'd be getting pulled over. With so many vehicles coming stock with LED headlights, the average traffic cop isn't gonna be able to tell the difference between a stock LED vehicle and one that's had LED'S swapped in place of the original halogen bulbs.
Its unfortunate that different tests for the same brands, get entirely different results. For example: GtR and Morimoto 3.0 . Another channel on YT( car light reviews) had the best results with GTR, followed by Morimoto . This negates the findings and see who did the most accurate testing, including evaluation of voltage drop off, lux, lumens , construction quality, adjustability for 3 and 9 positioning, fan design , kelvin color, and warranty length. This test, no offense, was of little to no help. Perhaps a more detailed breakdown and details on the installation would get more accurate and trustworthy.
No offense taken at all! Take what you see here with a grain of salt. Majority of any of these tests will come down to the optic that is used. Every projector and reflector will produce different results. Manufacture specs (details) and installation (same for every brand) make little to no difference. Real world performance, longevity, and reliability is all it comes down too. LED bulbs are never a one size fits all approach. We have enough experience to give a recommendation on what may work best on any particular model car. If you would like to discuss, please reach out!

9012 SV4 - plug and play - lightwerkz.net/collections/sv4/products/9012-s-v-4-led-bulb-single
@@LightwerkzGlobal currently, I have the 9005/HB3 plugged in. From my understanding, 9012 is a different base? I’ll just look on your site for the match on led to what I currently have. Thankyou
@@vgnope Yes 9012 is a different base. You need the one specific to your car.
This video is amazing you should be making more testing and comparison video😃
Have you checked there channel? Last I checked they have over 100 videos.
@@ricardomolina4605 yeah i have seen all the past videos and this is my fav channel but some of his videos are too short to cover all the details that's what i am saying 😊
How far was these tested? LED in a h11 projector starts to flare out, causing more foreground light than distance light, to be fair, their more common in h11 projectors. Thats an issue HR makes, they advertise their own brand (sv4 & ultra 2) and test them at a close range, thus not showing the bulbs full potential or truth.
Distance is 33'. Bulb such as the Ultra 2 in this case would cause more foreground lighting. 2stroke 3.0 wont have that issue.
Hid work better in projectors but if it’s a normal housing it’s better to go with LEDs
Can anyone help ? What bulb size for 21 taco off road with projectors
H11, we've got all these bulbs in stock so if you need help just let us know!
Would these in H7 be good as a DRL / Highbeam installed on a 2016 Elantra GT ? ( It’s a reflector Highbeam) Low Beam Projector. Or do you need to buy extra drivers ?
Sorry no way of confirming since we dont have enough feedback, but if you want to purchase, plug one in and test as DRL -youll know if its working as the light will turn on but the fan will not. So you know its at 30%.
The 3.0 is designed to function as a DRL, when the voltage drops from 6-9v it runs at 30% brightness, supposed to be the only LED currently able to do that.
@@ZootyZoFo Yes they did say that . It’s a good idea as some leds don’t quite get that low . 👍
IPF XX producing 5600 lumens in pair bulbs. And Light output is 2.5 times bigger than all your bulb in bunch
Manufacturer lumen ratings should he taken with a grain of salt. It's been proven time and time again that higher lumens =/= better product.
HID works in these projectors
What is the lux numbers of each ?
Google is your friend.
They are not made for led makes light very dim
No optic on market is made for rebased LED bulbs. The question is which works best . All of these options are brighter than the original halogen bulb.
@@LightwerkzGlobal high end halogen bulb gives me better brightness than led bulb talked about led bulb cost 90$ not cheap led good for reflector but projector
@@Live-life.. You are using the wrong LED bulbs then. Costs aside - these are much more powerful than any halogen bulb.
Try f3 or F5 led headlight. Cheap and bright
wait so none of them are even legal ? are all the people using these just braking the law no questions asked?
Due to DOT regulations, many of the LED'S on the market have to be sold as "fog light use" or "off road use" only. Technically, one would be in violation of DOT standards by running these as a high or low beam, but it's highly unlikely you'd be getting pulled over. With so many vehicles coming stock with LED headlights, the average traffic cop isn't gonna be able to tell the difference between a stock LED vehicle and one that's had LED'S swapped in place of the original halogen bulbs.
Try that test again in a reflector headlight. GTR ultra 2 blows away morimoto.
That first Halogen of your looked awfully white. Not convinced enough that its actually halogen and not LED.
