    Thank you. This is exactly what happened to me. Everyone online touts these bulbs as being amazing but when I installed them I noticed almost no improvement in brightness or visibility. They were great bulbs in all other aspects but for $200+ I saw no discernible improvements. Maybe it was just me. I hope they work for everyone else.

    First, thanks for being honest about the yellow version being less bright than stock and showing that the lens defrosting feature doesn't work too well.
    A few things to note:
    - The lifetime warranty is a great idea long term.
    - I don't understand why the H4 still uses outdated ZES chips which create a poor beam pattern, when all the other sizes have the updated emitter.
    - One of the biggest reasons the lens defrosting doesn't work is because most headlights have an anti-glare cap installed in front of the low beam bulb, which redirects most of that warm air back at the reflector. For projectors the air simply blows into the splitter shield and the glass dome so it never really reaches the lens.

      @@PremiumUserUltra I’m very happy with the 3.0, they work well in my 2016 Ford Transit Connect and my Wife’s 2011 3-Series. I considered the Ultra 2 given their brightness but I’m glad I stuck with the 2 Stroke. I had the 2.0 in the BMW before and the beam pattern was only ok. The 3.0 sharpened the cutoff noticeably and allowed for proper aiming.
      The Ultra 2 being less precise than the 3.0 would likely have been just a brighter version of the inferior 2.0 beam pattern.

    • @PondstompingAdventures
      @PondstompingAdventures 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yep. Definitely better on the eyes. 5000K is pure white, not terrible on the eyes. The 4300 K is just a slight yellow, better for the eyes and has an easier time cutting through rain, dust, fog. I honestly think in my opinion that these two choices of the 4300 K (first choice) and 5000 K (second choice) color spectrum is best for driving. With less fatigue on the eyes for long distance night drives.

    Initially, I must admit to feeling a bit let down upon discovering the absence of the locknut on the 9007 4.0 bulb, a feature you had demonstrated. I had assumed that all 4.0s came equipped with it but decided to proceed with the installation nonetheless. The output from the 2.0 left me disappointed; it was essentially subpar. I was particularly frustrated with the 3.0's mechanism for maintaining its position, despite its brighter light output. However, the 4.0 seems capable of securely holding its position, owing to significantly increased friction. Following your guidance, I ensured the orientation was vertical and then pulled out the bulb to ensure the projected light matched that of my original 9007 Ultra Bright Sylvania halogen bulbs. These bulbs function much like a Maglite, where, with a 9007 housing, they can dramatically alter light projection. It would indeed be fantastic if they could incorporate a locking mechanism, as demonstrated in your video. This would represent a significant design enhancement for the 5.0. Only time will tell, especially given that this truck sees some off-road action, and the roads in California are less than ideal. With the prevalence of heavy vehicles like the 6k-lbTeslas on the road, the conditions tend to deteriorate quickly, especially after rainfall. Here's hoping the 4.0 holds its position under such circumstances.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Both options are good, but it depends on your goals and budget. A full LED headlight assembly is optimized for performance, giving you the best possible brightness, beam pattern, and focus. However, upgrading to LED bulbs can still be a great, budget-friendly improvement over OEM and will definitely enhance your visibility. If you’re looking for maximum performance, go for the full assembly, but LED bulbs are a solid upgrade if you're looking to improve without breaking the bank.

      This answer can vary depending on what headlights you currently have - if you have OEM HID headlights and you're using a Morimoto HID kit, that will be the best combination. If you're using OEM Halogen headlights with an HID Kit, you may see improvements by switching to LEDs instead. LEDs also tend to have a much longer lifespan that HIDs, meaning you don't have to replace them every 2-4 years!

I want to get new headlights for my low beams since one of my LED’s is about to burn out. Please let me know if the fog light or the high beam for the GTR Ultra 2.0 which one is more suitable for the low beams? Also the same goes for the Marimoto 4.0’s? Am I understanding correctly from the above output stats of the Morimoto 2stroke 3.0 that the Reflector Headlight measured at 740 Max Lux Low Beam (40% Brighter) and at the 7:40 time stamp mark the narrators said that after 15 minutes it measured at the same 740 Max Lux Low Beam (40% Brighter)? So there is no loss of output after 15 minutes with the Morimoto 2stroke 3.0?

The 3.0s don't fit my headlights because of the horrendous adjustment system, but I'm tempted to try to make them work now. The 4.0s are overall a downgrade

    How come i can buy a 10,000 lumen flashlight that will melt the retinas off of a deer at 200 yards for $100 but no one has managed to make a decent headlight

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Flashlights can focus all their light output in a narrow beam, which is why they can reach high lumen levels in a compact form. Headlights, however, have to meet rigorous standards for road safety and vehicle compatibility. They’re engineered to provide balanced light output that maximizes visibility without blinding oncoming drivers, which means they can’t just crank up the lumens. Additionally, headlights are designed to withstand outdoor elements, temperature fluctuations, and long hours of use, requiring durability and heat management that most high-lumen flashlights don’t need.
