Hi! I'm thinking to switch from xray to eclipse 3.
I wanted to ask how sensitive it is to shocks and tweak and if the central joint is easy to set.
    Thanks a lot

      Hi. Emanuele
The car is very sturdy. The central joint is straightforward and once the screw is tightened needs no further alterations. A small amount of loctite will keep it from moving. I have not replied earlier as I have been racing at the LMP 12th Worlds at Milton Keynes in the UK. I completed every run without a single mechanical issue.I think we did 19 runs over 4 days. The car won Stock and Mod. I finished 32nd in Stock which i am super happy with. The pod was as straight at the end of the event as it was at the start.
I hope to post some videos in the next few days to go over my experiences at the event and changes to the car. If you have any further questions just ask.

@@stevedonald4538 Thanks a lot for the reply, no problem for the delay. I hope the World Cup went well. It's nice to hear that it's sturdy and hyper competitive and that the center joint doesn't need a thousand checks to make it work well. I look forward to more videos if you make them to tell your experiences! Total domain schumacher!

    Hi mate.
I've just built my eclipse 3s
Before I guess and cut the posts can you tell me how high your body posts are front and rear? I'll also be running the Montech M20 mainly

Hi Hamish.Front. Cut on the 5th hole so body clip goes through the 3rd. Rear. Standard is cut on 8th hole so body clip in 7th and 3 dot body mount things. go step higher for a more aggressive shell position. In uk they don't check rear body heights so go dragster!! These for are montech M20

Which tires are recommended for ETS black carpet? Fluid?

Contact T35s are good but not always depending on what additives are allowed to be used. In the Uk we only have 3. Spider Blue(most popular)Spider Green and SXT.

@@stevedonald4538 rule is rule. I found that in GT10 (2s, bliny, 10.5T) on contactrc tires, mobers is more aggressive then CS, but cs slips on track more. On really high grip condition blue spider is way to go when driver know how to race. So I choose mobers ;)
