    What is the difference between the chassis of a gt12 and a lmp?

    • @stevedonald4538
      @stevedonald4538 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Historically Lmps were a chassis and pod(2 piece) chassis and GT12 one long chassis with a pod above the rear. Now there's lots of LMPs using GT12 type chassis.Lots of rule differences on weight and shells etc. Check with the club your running at. Probably not the most technical answer. Look at the differences between an Xray X12 and a Schumacher Eclipse 4.

      If you go to a National Meeting I guess 95%plus are using spider blue. Pick one and learn how it works. SXT 3.0 is good and its slightly cheaper. Spider Blue for me always felt it had just a little bit more grip. When you pit try and sit next to the quickest driver at the meeting. Copy what they do.

    I hear what you are saying. I am personally on my 5th or 6th year back at racing model cars. I have found that it has got more and more complicated as the years have gone on. I don’t know why we all don’t run a control tire from time to time. Control motor is a good idea. As you wouldn’t need to adjust timing and therefore a motor analyser is not required. Tires would be simpler if we all ran the same. I agree with a diff being easier to drive, as when I have tried a spool in the Atom 2 it was a handful to drive. I like the concept of what you are trying to do. I think the cheaper version Atom 2 would be a great club car. £150.
