My 3 adult prodigal kids have labeled me in the same way, that I am totally evil and have no good qualities and they have completely abandoned and rejected any and all contact with me. I am unredeemable. Funny thing is, I am a very commited Christian who loves the Lord and live my life by his mercy and grace. Yes they accuse me, falsley, day and night. Breaks my heart. Its a horrible thing to experience. Thank you for the cross, Lord!

Larry, I'm a young man who came to Christ from being an atheist and a sinner. This was one of your best analyses on the subject of Christianity and the lack of understanding that most people have in their interpretation of what Christianity is. I hope you pursue this topic further; I truly admire your insight into objective truth regarding what has been written and what the Bible explicitly says. I wish I had role models like you when I was younger. Well done sir.

@hopeinHim5160 youtube never notified me to your response. As an atheist I ate a certain food and my knees became smashed into the hot sands. As I looked up into the heavens no voice was heard; yet only my heart bursting for not only knowledge, but widsom. I began to read rather than regurgitate opinions professed to me. My hunger was so great I was so satiated in the evidence that let me away from evolution and agnosticism. This is not blind faith, and now I wish to tell others of the significance of life beyond what they were indoctrinated with. It truly is how the Bible states, a lifting of the scales (serpentine) or the veil (2nd temple chiastic parallelism) over ones eyes is deconstructed. Many who have such powerful testimony are torn asunder: but if asked upon shall they be strength unto the integrity and the witness of our creator. Those who read this will understand if they have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. There is no mystery in the bible... hear the gospel and prepare for the theater of evil before our eyes. Only Jesus Christ will save us; save we obey his commandments.

      @aaronwjs 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

@summerday9333: I understand your perspective and the importance of not judging someone without knowing their full story. However, it's also worth considering that people's actions and beliefs can be scrutinized, especially when they claim to adhere to a certain faith.
The Bible teaches us to "judge with righteous judgment" [John 7:24], which means we should evaluate others based on their actions and how they align with the teachings of the faith they profess. In the case of Glenn Beck, if his actions and beliefs contradict the Christian faith, it would be fair to question his alignment with it.
In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus teaches us to "know them by their fruits." This means we can look at a person's actions and the outcomes of those actions to discern whether they are living according to the principles of their faith.
While it's not our place to judge someone's heart or their relationship with God, it is important to be discerning and use wisdom in evaluating the actions and beliefs of those who claim to follow a certain faith.

Totally agree with you Larry on this matter. Dr Jordan Peterson , in my opinion is not wishing to enter the narrow gate to enter the Kingdom of God. The Narrow Gate refers to bowing the kneel in full surrender to Jesus Christ atonement for all of us sinners. We need to acknowledge our great sin and therefore our great need for a Saviour, the only Saviour for the whole world. Humble yourself under the mighty had of God. Thank you Larry so much for this video, and especially for clarifying the issue of Christianity and being a Christian. In reference to Jordan Peterson, I have never been persuaded about his interpretation and understanding of the Bible and being a Christian, although I do enjoy his clarity on things related to the ills of society. By the grace of God I am a believer in Jesus Christ and have been studying and reading the Bible ever since that moment. Being transferred from darkness into the kingdom of Light is not something that happens without the individual being very aware of it. Life changes. All things change when in Christ.
Seekers out there, beware of Peterson's misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the Bible and the God of the Bible. Instead, ask God to guide you to His truth. This is what I would tell Jordan Peterson as well.

The description of Christianity being about redemption and Woke Ideology being about "retribution" (revenge and leveraging guilt) is spot on. I think Christians have too much mixture from our culture and not enough Word of God inside. I remember locally where I live that a man came to Christ, submitted himself to his Pastor, and to any rules set by leadership because he was registered sex offender. A woman in the congregation found out that he was on this list. She went public with this information to the newspapers, demanding that this man be ousted out of the church. This was being handled within the church by leadership, and should not have been publicly broadcasted. It caused great division in this church. Jesus died for everyone and for every sin. No one is beyond redemption no matter how grave the sin. We need to check ourselves and stand behind Biblical principles that protect the Body of Christ.

I am seeing him on May 19th in Las Vegas. His tickets were VERY expensive.
However, I am curious to hear what he has to say. Unlike him, I DO not find myself “wrestling with God”. I have submitted my life to Christ. I find myself FEARING God when I fall in sin. I feel guilty and sometimes don’t understand why Jesus would die for someone like me. I feel unworthy but extremely grateful for His grace.

About Jordan Peterson, they say, "He's _almost_ there! We just need the right argument to 'seal the deal'! "
No, we do not "seal the deal". The Holy Spirit not only seals us, when we believe sincerely, from the heart, but He is the One who brings us to true faith in Jesus. If we refuse to believe, we aren't "sort of" Christians; we may be what our society calls Christians, influenced by Christian ideas, but if we do not have the faith that God recognizes as true faith, we dont, andwe a re notsaved. It doesn't matter how enthusuastic we get over the influence that these influential people could supposedly bring to the "faith", but if they don't sincerely believe, they arent saved. We are just using them, caring not for their souls, but for what we think we get out of them. God is not using them as believing Christisns, because He actually cares about their souls..
One problem is that the politicization of Christianity has seared our consciences, somewhat. We think that God thinks like a politician, and that close, in peoples eyes, is close enough. "Close enough for jazz", because He can use it politically.
God is holy, and He is nothing like thst. We cheer; God grieves, because Jesus really gave His life to save people. Politics is not only dirty, but a false solution for the world: in some cases, a false gospel?
What does God say we should do when people have "a form of godliness", but "denying the power thereof"?
    "From such, turn away".
It doesn't mean to be snotty to them, rude to them, cruel, like the woman said to be toward the young woman who says she has repented from porn and believes in Jesus. It has got to mean to turn away from considering them our brothers and sisters in Christ. They are not, and we need to turn away from thinking they are believers. We can pray for them, but we need to pray for them as unbelievers, not as brethren in the faith. And we need to stop looking to them for wisdom from the God they are rejecting.

My sister expressed the same sentiment. She was talking about how her husband was such a man of faith. After several heated arguments with him, I came to understand his faith was unmistakably in science. His belief system was rooted in deductive reasoning, whereas my belief system was rooted in inductive reasoning. When I asked her what faith she was, she replied, "I think I would be a Christian because that's the culture I live in." Neither of them had any clue as to what being a Christian actually meant. In their understanding, it meant, "I am a good person," and all religions worship the same god. I wonder if Loomer's idea of Christianity comes from Donald Trump's MAGA movement. According to her way of thinking, Trump could not be a Christian either as his sexual exploits would disqualify him. Although, as you point out, Larry, Trump's sexual exploits would not be the disqualifier. Trump, by his own admission has never repented, which is the disqualifier.

He used Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar, as well as other unbelievers to bring forth His purpose. Trump is claiming to be a Christian and also claiming he has never repented. So it appears he is running a scam.
You may call yourself a sinner fallen short of the Glory, but I call my self the righteousness of God in Christ.
Rom 3:21-24, "But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"
It means the righteousness of Christ has been made available to all, but not all have believed...the righteousness which delivers us out of sin unto death. Believers have been justified (rendered righteous) by the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Very serious analysis of what JP is saying...I believe his intellectual arguments that the word of God, the Bible is Truth is absolutely true. I never considered if JP believes in Jesus Christ "is the way, the truth, and the life, no one can come to the Father except through me". I am a huge JP fan and I think his truthfull contributions to the challenges of are time are extremely valuable, I unfortunately believe your criticism is correct - You either believe in Christ as Lord and Savior or you don't

The tragedy with Truth seekers is to be so close to it, yet never take it! But this only reveals an underlying issue: that of trust that compels one to fully abandon him/herself to Christ. The rich young ruler in the Bible was a Truth seeker, yet when he stood face to-face with Him, he wasn't able to relinquish his all to Christ. Real Truth will challenge one to do just that!

    37:26
"... this is a sad commentary on the state of the Christian faith. Christians are so desperate for heroes, intellectual heroes that the world admires, that they elevate Jordan Petersons to a place they shouldn't be."
This is such a key point. May I suggest that this exposes the intellectual weakness of our churches, of our Christian lives? It's embarrassing to even say this, but how often do Christians read their Bibles? And I mean, all the way through, not just bits and pieces from cheesy devotionals and "Bible study books." How often do we stretch our minds with difficult books, classic books?

He and Peterson have the same problem which is currently creating a bigger problem within themselves. That problem is revealed in 1st Corinthians 2:14. I began getting uncomfortable with him and started putting questions to him in the comment sections and sent some to his email address. I really wanted him to explain so I could "like" him again. I then saw him on Pints with Aquinas, and in the comment section I sincerely asked, "Why is Peterson so angry?" He responded, "Because presumptuous trolls call me Peterson online." That answered all my questions. I talked to people about him and no one wants to say what you have just said. I so appreciate your saying it. I apologized for being disrespectful, he was correct about that, but what spoke louder was his need to be addressed with all of his credentials in such a situation.

    Yes, words have meaning
    Deuteronomy 13: 1-6
1 Everything I command you that you shall be careful to do it. You shall neither add to it, nor subtract from it.
2 If there will arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of a dream, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,
3 and the sign or the wonder of which he spoke to you happens, [and he] says, "Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us worship them,"
4 you shall not heed the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream; for the Lord, your God, is testing you, to know whether you really love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul.
5 You shall follow the Lord, your God, fear Him, keep His commandments, heed His voice, worship Him, and cleave to Him.
6 And that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream shall be put to death; because he spoke falsehood about the Lord, your God Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and Who redeemed you from the house of bondage, to lead you astray from the way in which the Lord, your God, commanded you to go; so shall you clear away the evil from your midst.

I got saved 26 years ago…began attending church with many people who had children around the age of our daughter. I got involved with youth ministry and watched these young people grow up in church and the majority were regular church attendees with their parents. SADLY, I cant name one that is a true Christian today…their life’s fruits attest to that fact. We sent our daughter to Christian university, thinking it was better than secular. I feel it just made her harden her heart more against Heavenly Father. She saw the leaders in the Christian university play the hypothetical life right before her eyes and also watched several family members do the same. She is so negative towards anything biblical and leans more toward other religions that are including every way possible to heaven except for salvation through Jesus Christ. It’s sad to watch these adult children struggle with their belief in Jesus Christ they were taught growing up. I pray that before it’s too late for them that they will repent and turn towards God and away from the temptation of this world.

As a side, side note: just for historical accuracy, Mary Magdalene has gotten a very bad wrap throughout at least Western Christendom, as it had been regularly assumed she was morally loose before her conversion. In the spirit of being a good Berean, I just want to throw in here that there is zero direct scriptural evidence that this was the case. I think this is important because, though it is certainly possible and maybe even probable, that she was engaged in illicit behavior, it is by no means certain. Since it is such a devastating charge for a woman, maybe we should just lay off using her as an example of sexual immorality and stick to what scripture actually says: she was demon possessed. No doubt the two are closely linked, but it's isn't an absolute foregone conclusion that these things were true of her.
    Just my measly 2 cents.

This idea about Mary M comes from historical attempts to make sense of the several "women anointing Jesus" stories in the four gospel books, and by comparing Luke 7:37-48 with John11:2. Bible readers have also long noted that Mary Magdalene is first introduced in Luke just two verses after the 7:37-48 narrative (of the women anointing Jesus with her tears).
There are disjunctive aspects to these accounts of women-anointing-Christ, but the connection is made for a couple reasons and is partly derived by attempts to harmonize the several MMLJ narratives.
