Can't believe he's 76 and still kicking ass. I've seen him since 1979 and now I'm to old and busted up to keep up. But glad he's still kicking.

I saw Iggy for the first time when Lust for life was realised (Toulouse , France). Great show ! I saw him again twice 7 years ago. The first gig was on a blues festival with old people ... Quite annoying. I saw him again a month later with a large young audience and a few old people as I am. Fantastic show ... One of the best of my long live of rock addict !
@François Lusignan I was lucky enough to interview him on my college radio show in 82. He was so nice. Somewhere I still have the tapes. Saw him that year at City Gardens Trenton NJ wearing bright blue spandex and he whipped it out. It was a snake..

The Great Example of the Talent that came out of SE Michigan in the 60s & Early 70s Alice, Iggy, MC5, Death, (recently credited as the 1st Punk Band, but didn't get side because they wouldn't change their name) IGGY is a God Damn LEGEND.
I first saw Iggy (with the Stooges) in 1970. If I had thought to make a list of the rockers least likely to survive until now he would have led the list. The man is amazing. Iggy, my hat's off to you and I hope you keep doing what you do forever. Good vid
i saw iggy a few times including two shows in a small bar duffys in minneapolis. once in hotel lemington and the amazing idiot tour at the state theater in minneapolis. the shows were fun including the bar shows at front of the stage but the idiot tour theater show was amazing. local band the suicide commandos were on stage or maybe it was ian dury or that might have been the lou reed street hassle tour. it was all amazing.
That's what I'm talking about! Might be first Iggy show I miss in LA since the '70s. May have to get tix in the boondocks for $$$. He's so much fun to see.
OK, I just discovered that one of the guitarists is Chad's fmr. RHCP bandmate, Josh Klinghoffer, and the other one is Andrew Watt (who produced the band's album), but the keyboardist's identity is still a mystery to me. He kinda looks like Nick Cave, and that would be totally awesome if it indeed was him, but I don't think that it is him
Even though he's ¾ of a century old now (approaching octogenarian status), this ageless eternal adolescent still rocks harder than frontmen ⅓ his age!!
He's not or ever been a slave to fashion, he's doing his thing which happens to be without a shirt! -so what... his body might be aging but his spirit is strong! power to those who do their thing without giving a shit what others think!!!!
I saw him on this tour. The anonymous players he brought with him were much tighter than this, this is not a good look for the backing band, not at all. When he came to Chicago, he had by far the best band he's ever had and it wasn't these guys. Its the bass player, he's not grooving.
Iggy & the Stoodges were before Bowie, Bowie was great but an elaborate Magpie...when he saw talent or something original , like the velvet underground, lindsey anderson , great music & musicians, he got to use them and move on - Spiders from Mars for instance. Bowie had been an Heroin addict himself, that's why he had to get away from the hedonistic rock scene in L.A in the 70S and go to Berlin taking ,Iggy there, brian Eno. Your foot notes comment is the sound of untalented ignorance, (do your research) spouting off resentment in a vacuous void! Iggy's 76 ( the body ages - that's a fact) and is still doing it, no armchair & sleepers for him!!!!!
Pfft. Rectally sourced opinions. Lou did smack once (back in the early days of the VU.) and got hepatitis. His drug of choice was (to quote him) 'liquid injectable methedrine'. And the influence of the VU on Bowie was *enormous* (cf Queen Bitch.) Furthermore the Ziggy album wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Mr Osterberg.
Iggy didnt make Bowie. But he influenced him. Bowie could never go the places Iggy did. As for Lou, he copied Iggy and Jagger. Iggy is 100% pure unadulterated punk. Not stupid punk. Not fake punk. Not pretender punk. Punk.
thanks iggs you're here lou's there face to face ...... thanks JC for this 4/22/2023 !
Punx for ever. 🤩💀🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🤟🤘🦋

We need to think seriously about the sort of world we are going to leave behind for Iggy
Right On😎
awesome 💖 😍 ❤️ it
Lou and Iggy started everything. He knows that.

Just awesome! Iggy really rocks...
Working on it
as we speak, the
band is the Late
Bloomers. I am
63, I have left a
lot to be said.
All I ask, please

Iggy pop tu es le meilleur ❤
Amazing!! XOXO!!
LOU REED= DAVID BOWIE=IGGY POP= THE LAST MAN STANDING! FIRE!❤🎉
who'd have thought he'd be the last of these great artists.
The Unholy Triumvirate

The older you get Iggy, the better you get. keep well and stay a fine man as you are.
;-)s ... Like fine wine, priceless !
Yeah !! 🙂
ROCK & ROLL .
Will Ferrell is killing it on the drums.😆
No kidding ... Is that Chad Smith ? Looks like Duff McKagen from GNR / Velvet Roses on base.
a legend in the end....
Saw him November of 1979 at the Oriental Landmark in Milwaukee. He hasn't lost it at all after all these years.
Ño matter what
Don't stop
NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS
Spirit of the age ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sounds great, I dig that transition.
Is this the first recorded instance of Iggy Pop wearing a shirt?
super version de walk on the wild side ! sacré iggy ...
This is so good. (And a great angle for filming!)
Hey! That's Duff on bass.
Yep
Awesome
God Bless Iggy!
:-) Amen !
Bedtime stories with Iggy.
Iggy Pop, Great Performer.
I love the shirt
Great rendition
That's what I'm talking about! Might be first Iggy show I miss in LA since the '70s. May have to get tix in the boondocks for $$$. He's so much fun to see.
So great he is still at it.

Loco veni a Argentina.

Favorite song✨
Chad & Chris ⭐
Lou Reed, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Take a walk togheter.....
GENIAL
This is an awesome cover!
Iggy must have Drano in his veins….still kicking ass at 76!!
Rock on!
Fine medley.Losers are great.
This is it.
Oh hell yes
IGGY 🎶💗
Who says drugs are bad for you?? Long live Iggy!!
It’s all about genetics!….even like Keith Richards.
Iggy kicked when he was young
Eye is really drawn to Chad Smith. Whole things kickin though, fucken rad.
Andrew Watt enjoying himself like a teenager. So cool to see.
Yo pensaba que Iggy se iba a ir antes de Lou Reed y David Bowie y ahi lo tenés, es highlander
There should exist an IGGY day, for us to join and live Rock&Roll, maybe the 3rd of July, or another day cause we don't give a fuck.
The transition is fucking awesome 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
wow rockin as wanna b ur dog on a chain about to bite that sweet abs
イギーがルーをリスペクトしているのが良くわかる動画だ
Gostei
Wow Will Ferrell on the drum kit!!
Ah, no. That's Chad Smith from the chili peppers.
@@metriczeppelin Actually Chad Smith Once played in a good talented band which was Chickenfoot!!
@@metriczeppelin Yes, it is chad, one of the best, there are not many good drummers.
For the love of god! Let the old man be your dog!
Best live cover of this song that I encountered. Still no match to the original version by Lou Reed, with the ingenious Herbie Flowers on bass!
But Iggy has a far better voice than LR did ….even in his prime!
stay true to yourself
Bono canta essa versão em BAD
hey babe take a walk... ON THE Wild SIDE... still love those trans boys ...so kind so hurt so good so permiscuois
L0u ReeD
All you critics,
that's quite enough. For a
fraction of a, .
you only know
what's like to
even imagine of
being like IGGY.
Is that Duff over there
Not mellowed by age - rock on Iggy !
Duff on bass, Chad Smith/Will Ferrell* on drums, but who are the guitarists and the keyboardist?
Not sure of keyboardist but lead guitarist is Andrew Watt (also Iggy's producer) and, Jamie Hince from the Kills, on other guitar
OK, I just discovered that one of the guitarists is Chad's fmr. RHCP bandmate, Josh Klinghoffer, and the other one is Andrew Watt (who produced the band's album), but the keyboardist's identity is still a mystery to me. @@youjoker9647: Thanks for that correction. I actually meant to say that, but I got my math screwed up between the two comparisons
I have been living without central heating for six months or so. It is an experiment. Might become a gypsy.
Chad smith on drums ???
Yep!
am a loser carry narcan junkie love
Rad
The nicely aged version ☺️🥸
If You dont minde
Iggy's looks now suits his voice (not shanged)
Somehow, it should be this way..
Why?
He used to be so good
Lol
I think Iggy is starting to look a little like E.T. phone home
No underwear.
Poor old Iggy, walks with a limp and sings through dentures, threw himself on the drum kit one too many times. but he is still rockin it~!
What are you, 12? No respect, I tells ya...
Great old Iggy
Is that Duff or am I hallucinating again ?
Yep that's Duff on Bass.
Iggy Pop is bigger than God
IGGY NEEDS TO INVEST IN A MORE RELIABLE BELT BEFORE HIS TROUSERS FALL OFF OR SOMETHING. I'M JUST SAYIN'.
He needs to wear a shirt now… he is not 25 anymore!
Pulling down pants when you´re almost 80, maybe a bit silly.
I like Iggy but the shirtless brand is stale.
No
He's not or ever been a slave to fashion, he's doing his thing which happens to be without a shirt! -so what... his body might be aging but his spirit is strong! power to those who do their thing without giving a shit what others think!!!!
Sorry but it is time for Iggy to accept age.
sorry folks just not good enough.

Without David Bowie Iggy and Lou would just be two more smack head footnotes in music history.
meh

The guitarist with the suite on is a jerk. He's getting in everybody's face.
No chance He's gonna bring that lineup to Europe this summer, but i'll go and see him anyway.
