I use the JSP acid test kit, usually just use the 18K gold acid to test for silver because it causes a more distinctive reaction than the actual silver test acid. This time however I didn't bother showing it because the moment I scratched the earring on the touchstone I saw copper and didn't even bother with the acid after that.
@@ScoopyJoe yeah I was just curious, if you use the 18kt or the silver acid, someone else told me to use 18kt too I'll have to try it on piece I'm not sure if it's silver
The 18k acid reaction is very bright, I've found the nitric acid hard to read on the dark touchstone. Here's a positive test I did late last year: i.imgur.com/xdgOpP2.jpg
