I love the podcast because of the reliability of everyone involved how they can go from jokes to serious conversation so seamlessly like real friends and not colleagues
I think thats kinda a problem too, it's not as bad in the mor recent cold ones videos but Chad does have a bad habit of interrupting and de-railing interesting conversations while the guest is on. I agree them just chatting like friends makes it more believable, but there is definitely a fine line. Chad just needs to watch how much he drinks so he knows when he is being too obnoxious

The statement on parents having the 'internet talk' is so perfectly put. Isolating your children from it means that when they encounter it they don't know how to separate good from bad. I'm 20 and i've had a similar kind of talk with my cousin who's 13. He finds it easy to listen and relate to me but not his mum so it's nice to show him how to respond to these things. Glad you guys agree with this :)
Yeah, i think chad might have some kind of stokholme syndrome with that. i was bullied and it was traumatizing, and effected my social skills, trust, and self worth forever. Im 20, and still realizing more issues i have and remembering the repressed links to certain bullying events and trying to get over it. TIP: MDMA helps more than anything else ever has. dont take it more than once every 3 months, its not weed and can have negative effects if used too often.

The talking about school segment made me think about how much I hated the weird school program I was in. I was originally in a regular public high school, but I skipped too much, and failed too many classes, considering I was a junior with 3 credits, out of like 20 something. I ended up getting sent to an 'alternative' campus. Where I basically sat at a computer all day, only got a few breaks, couldn't be on my phone unless it was lunch or a break. I started out fine there. I grew to hate lunch, because I was used to maybe 500 students at lunch. This was 6th-12th grade all at once. But lunch in this other campus was crazy. We rode a bus from our little building to the high school, and sat there for an hour, nearly 7-8,000 students. I grew more and more anxious each day. I stopped doing work, simply because I didn't feel well mentally, and eventually, I got to the point where I had about 100 or so assignments per class. I got overwhelmed with this work, started crying myself to sleep in class, and at night. One day, I threatened to kill myself. I couldn't handle the work. I got taken out of this school, to start an online program for my area, a computer sent to me (because I don't own my own computer) my teacher wasn't good at all. She told me to do half of my work in each class. My mom was near when she told me this. I agree. 8 weeks in, she video calls me, saying im behind in every class. And to catch up in a week, or I'm out. I worked as hard as I could one day, and barely scratched it. 7 days wouldn't have been enough. I gave up. I got kicked out. And now I'm a drop out. So, yeah.
