That is just a beautiful piece Tomislov. I enjoyed watching this video very much. I will look for you next week. Be good
Thank you very much sir😀
That is a great form, Tomislav. The mirrored curve at the corners is very elegant. I've had a 75mm thick square piece of Walnut for a year that I was saving for something interesting. I might use some of the fine elements you demonstrated for us. Looking forward to seeing the other plates.
Thank you Jay, looking forward to see what will that walnut you have end up being
Very nice, I look forward to bigger walnut turnings. thanks.
Thank you very much
These little valet plates are great! I can't master using the scraper to true up a surface like that still, practicing daily, Thank you for such a great video. It's like being welcomed into your shop to just hang out and learn!
Thank you Tony, once you get the feel for scrapers they are wonderfull tools

Thank you, really glad to hear that ☺️
I have a piece of walnut laying around that I was thinking about doing something similar with. Good timing!
Awsome,glad to hear that ☺️
What a cool idea. Got to try me that. I really like the wings and how they slope.
Thank you 😄
I would like to see the other trays and the resaw.
Awesome work!
Beautiful as usual! Your process is so efficient, no wasted effort to get to your goal. My design skill is not yet that intuitive, lots of cut this then adjust the design to fit what I just did. Lol. I like to make these type items out of crotch pieces with live and cut edges that are basically what was cut off by the chainsaw. I had some silver maple crotches that had some of the most beautiful grain I have ever seen that turned out awesome. Had them in a gallery show in Durango Colorado where they did pretty well. Don’t do many shows but that was fun. Take care and thanks for your mind expanding tutelage for all of us! Scott
Thank you Scott, maple crotch can be superb especially when done properly.
Thank you for watching and comment
That looks awesome.
Great design. Your attention to detail is extraordinary, however this leads to a wonderful plate/bowl.
Yes Tommi I would really like to see the larger designs along these same designs.
Thank you Greg, means a lot to me.
I think you know that I want to see them... ;-) Looks lovely, and as always, many thanks for the entertaining and educational video.
Nicely done! Happy wife.
Very interesting looking design Tomislav and the wood grain is really quite nice, especially with the oil applied. I really appreciate how you talked through the design as you were turning the piece and spent time explaining the details of all the features. Would enjoy seeing a video of turning the larger piece and the design process you apply to that piece.
Thank you Mark for the feedback
Excellence in design and in teaching turning. Thank you for sharing with us.

Thank you for the great video with all the information. Turning square things still scares me but working on it. Thank you!

Hello Tomy, another wonderful video I have another question to ask you. Do you know the wood fast 320 wood lathe? Is it good material? Thank you.
Hello hi
If google showed correct one, its similar to my own first lathe ,dml320 from Record power... i think rikon and jet has the same but different color scheme.
Its good small lathe, compact and if you just starting out its a great first lathe...
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning Thank you very Tomy👍
I would really like to see how you shape and sharpen your radiused skews?
I have 2 part video in sharpening and the how to use skew...
