I have a flesh tone pallete in front of me, and was trying to figure out some tips and tricks. I clicked on this video randomly, and then realized, omg, I'm using narrative cosmetics 😂 i genuinely had no idea before because I bought this like a year or two ago. Thanks for the advice, I'm trying to do a mermaid for a renaissance faire, and the blue and green for vein tone and olive are looking fantastic so far! I'm gonna experiment with more types of paint, but so far, for the hot sun and many hours id be there, this is the winner 😁 I just wish I had more colors and 99% was easier to find. The 2 bottles I got were right when the panoramic started and cost $16, maybe without shipping and handling (it was too long ago)
Unfortunately, we don't have an organic pigment set available yet. This is something we are looking at launching in the future, we just want to make sure we get it right with the color payoff and pigment level.
Probably too late to ask question on here, but... can these stay over night? Wanted to get it done sooner for halloween party and maybe touch up by next night to save time. So will it stay good if I did it night before party by chance
Hi Sabrina, yes the alcohol paints will stay on overnight. It's always best to apply the same day, but they will hold up if you apply the night before. For an even stronger hold, we recommend applying an alcohol based setting spray over the alcohol paints after applying. This will maximize durability, especially for a party the following day. Hope this helps!
No you cannot dilute the alcohol palette colors and use them in an airbrush gun. The best solution is to buy alcohol based airbrush paint, which you can dilute with 99% alcohol if you want to make it more translucent.
@@puddles1121 unfortunately water activated paints will not work on silicone prosthetics. You need to use alcohol or silicone-based paints. Hope this helps!
This formula is designed for use on the skin. It may be okay to use on teeth, but we don't recommend it. We will be coming out with a tooth-safe product early next year.
For anyone in the comments struggling to find 99%, vape stores have them!!! Used for cleaning glass pieces, but it sure comes in handy for this!

Awesome!! If you have any questions just let us know. We're here to help.
Just so you know. You can use 91% alcohol. Takes a little longer to evaporate.. by like a couple of seconds. And it doesn't ruin the paint.
Good to know. We always advise 99% alcohol or our alcohol activator, but thanks for the feedback!
Is orange a hard color to apply?
Not at all, it applies just like the other colors. Make sure you activate it with 2-3 drops of isopropyl alcohol or our alcohol Activator.
Good job with the video!
Thanks!!

@@NarrativeCosmetics do you have a recommendation for alcohol based setting spray and a powder? thanks!
@@luciadibartolo2741 we recommend the RCMA No Color Setting Powder and/or the Green Marble Setting Spray from Skin Illustrator.
Hi! Can you use these on your teeth for fx looks?
No, the FX Alcohol Activated Palette is not suitable for use on teeth due to safety concerns and the product's formulation for skin, not for oral use.
how long it stays on the skin?
It can stay all day long without problems.
@@NarrativeCosmetics perfect thank you! I am waiting for my order can't wait to try it on 😍

@@NarrativeCosmetics um you absolutely can and lots of people do as it’s far cheaper than buying bottles of alcohol based airbrush paint 👍
Is this the only paint I can use on silicone prosthetics?
You can use alcohol activated paints or silicone paints, either will work fine.
