    Hi Michel! Great channel with lots of good information. Could you possibly do a video for people that are looking to buy real estate, focusing on how to negotiate the price and how to understand if what is being asked is a fair price? Thank you and great job! :)

    Kirchberg : modern but almost an empty ghost town after 19h00 especially in winter
    Cloche d'or : a monument of vanity, mostly devoid of life, bad parkings, bad for pedestrians , an currently epic fail in urbanism nearly as much as Belval, also far from the city center (Howald, Bonnevoie, Belair, Cessange, Itzig Holleschbierg, are way better options).
    Cloche d'Or looks like French HLM ghettos and it's an eternity by car or bus in the morning and in the evening traffic to join Luxembourg city center (will not be much better with snail slow Luxtram when finally built there).
    Limpertsberg is good but old buildings but has life (cafés, restaurants, etc)
    If you can afford it in Luxembourg City, Place d'Armes, Fëschmaart and Grund are the best places in the City (beautiful, real Luxembourg feeling and atmosphere, real city center, lively and nice to live. I lived in the Grund before leaving for my house (nothing better than maximum 5 minutes of walk to work or to good restaurants and nice evening bars).
    And the real best places overall to live in Luxembourg (country) are Moseltal, Moselle Valley (Mouseldall) and Oesling for real quality of life (for your children and yourself) besides only wanting to be close to work (robot like workaholics).

      Thank you for this comment. i was actually thinking of bringing other communes in to the mix and do a video on the different area's outside Lux-City.

    • @BambinoAmericano

      I quite agree. KB is dead after office hours and I don’t like the vibe of Cloche d’Or. Have lived at 6 different places within Luxembourg-ville. I prefer Belair (at least the part at walking distance from town) because the Limpertsberg streets are a bit narrow and the apartments less airy. Gare except some streets where safety has become an issue. Otherwise I find Eich a valuable alternative, with the Bambësch forest and well connected, namely with the Dommeldange train station and scenic biking paths to the city with the panoramic elevator.

    Most real estate is quite expensive in Luxembourg but rentals are quite low.. Which means the ROI on rents is not good there?

    • @MichelKmiotek
      @MichelKmiotek  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed, rental ROI isn't what most investors were after. The appreciation of the property value was tremendous pre-Ukrainian war. The resale was where investors could make the most ROI

    Great video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
