Hello! Depends where is your office and how often you have to go there, therefore the connection to the office and also Merl has more light than Grund because Grund is in valley of the city also the prices may vary, about Grund I don't recommend talking a ground/first floor because I'm 2020 during summer it was all flooded and we hope it won't happen again but you never know. But for example Grund is closer to bars and city center if that's important to you 😌
Most of Luxembourg is family friendly, especially outside of the city. In the city itself, as Magda rightly, said, avoid Gare and some parts of Hollerich and Bonnevoie. All the other areas are very family friendly. As for the prices, you need to define "good price" 😅 sadly all of Luxembourg has very high prices for housing!

I've never heard of that but it all depends where you work, there is a train to Lux city - Google says it takes 47 min so another thing to consider is if you wanna commute for about 2h a day if you're gonna work in Lux city. Idk how are the prices over there, I can try to check it out in future videos

I will be hiring a temporary flat for around 10 days for this purpose. Can you advise how I can let the commune know of the change in address once I settle in a permanent flat ? TIA
Just don’t...it’s depressing and racist. But if you do, try Sandweiller, Bereldange or nidahanven. They are outside of the city, but hey, public transport is free😳😱🥰 DONT stay in the city...please, it’s depressing and grey.... Lived in the apartment block next to the Hilton in Dommeldange, older building but great place, even a swinging pool and sauna, on site as well as a tiny bar and a shop. Parking a car can be a pain where you live, so think of renting a garage? Certainly for me, it was so much better, more expensive but certainly worth it when parking is a premium. Top tip for vehicle owners, the annual vehicle test is mandatory and state run by only two controll centres, expect lengthy waiting times and if you purchase a second hand car or motorcycle it HAS to re tested when you purchase it, regardless of when it was last tested....and god forbid it fails....your not permitted to drive it away 😳😱😖😖🤔 Lux is a lovely but wierd place. Do ALOT of research then do some more before moving there, it’s not all good....

Hamm is fine! You've got the buses 9 and 15, plus you can walk along the river! Cents / Neudorf is boring! Gare is horrible - especially the Rue du Strasbourg. Lots of drug dealers and prostitues! I like the Place de Paris / Paraisser Plaz. My favourite coffee shop is coffee fellows, and I like to shop at Monoprix round the corner. Sometimes I get the tram up to the big Auchan at Alphonse Weicker!
