      Hello Florian!
      Never heard about English wine before but now i´m curious on the Rosé they produce. ( I became a fan of Rosé since we released the 2021 one from the Cooperative).

    Are the English vineyards located on hills or just on plain fields without any slope? Udo

    • @Seedsofdiscovery
      @Seedsofdiscovery  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think both but due to the climate still being at the limit of where we can traditionally grow grapes, producers will tend to favor south facing slopes to optimise the ripeness of the grapes.

      @@SeedsofdiscoveryThanks. 1) Except for areas close to the sea coast, is the English soil just normal acre or are there special minerals in tve soil like along Mosel river (Germany) 2) What is the best region in England for a bicycle tour through local vineyards?

      @@ersteimmobilie7419 Hi! I don't know enough about the composition of the soil there to answer 1) but I cycled in Sussex, Kent, and Surrey which have usually the best wineries like Chapeldown for example. The landscape is very nice and not too difficult to cycle through.
