The early pioneer winemakers were light-years ahead of society at large. Foremost understanding that they were stronger and more successful together than apart. They also understood completely that every single person involved in the making of a successful winery was a valued, appreciated, integral part of the whole.
Loved this!!! So incredibly refreshing and inspiring to listen to these pioneers who spoke so humbly of themselves.

The vineyard owners in the show are so humble and sincere and that makes Oregon wines interesting.

I love Oregon so much! I’m a farm girl from eastern Oregon. I wish the agricultural industry on that side of the state had taken on the solidarity that the wine producers in the west has done.

Great documentary of the early Oregon wine pioneers! They really believed in the quality of the land and created something out of nothing, the quality of Oregon wines today proves they were right!

Growing myself a grape vine in my yard here in Oregon. The animals and I just love the grapes. They're delicious and so is the wine and I'm not even a fan of any wine other than icewine.

I always admire people who pursue their dreams despite what a lot of people may say about it to the contrary.

Love Oregon Pinots, a 2012 St. Innocent Temperance Hill Pinot Noir was a game changer for me. Now 10 Vintages later I love the Sub Ava’s of Eola- Amity Hills, Ribbon Ridge, McMinville and The Freedom Hill Site. Dark Black & Blue Fruited Pinots with a little mid-palate weight and an element of spice as well. 🍷💕

Motywacja i działania farmerów zmienili grafostwo Oregon w lepszą stronę. Początki zawsze są trudne. Te farmerzy założyli dobry fundament i dodali swoją część w globalnej historii uprawy winogrona i rolnictwa w ogół.

The discussion of Willamette Valley 'terroir' harks to geological speculation of Ice-Age floods which theoretically carried soils from the Spokane, WA 'scab-lands' and deposited them at various times and various locations.

Still a lot of poverty in the valley. You will see that on your wine tour.

A guy who started growing grapes in the 1970s says here that Oregon produced the first Pinot Noir in the new world. This makes me laugh. Pinot Noir was introduced to Brazil over 70 years ago and Brazilian wines are obviously better than American ones. 😂😂😂
