  • Hola! In this video I am reviving/reactivating my 4-year old jelly gouache sets. With some distilled water, clove oil, and a TON of elbow grease, I managed to re-wet these beloved paints. It was a process-watching it back, it looks quite satisfying, but it was really a pain in the bum. Though reviving these paints totally made me fall in love with jelly gouache all over again! In 2023 and beyond, I absolutely recommend these sets! They are great quality for your dollar. Enjoy the video~

Wow, the revived gouache looks so pretty!
I'm getting my first jelly set this month and I'm nervous about not being able to use so much paint. I don't want to waste it.
Clove oil is a good idea. Going to try it.

Nice! I'm sure you'll love it. Are you getting it for Christmas? Yes, definitely try clove oil out (if nothing else, it'll make your paints smell amazing 🥰). Spray your paints with water once in a while to keep them juicy! Maybe even add a few drops of clove oil to your spray bottle if that's easier than mixing in the oil individually. Let me know how you enjoy your set~
