I’m a PR and I’ve been following your channel and as I was watching I was just like please keep spilling the truth. The honest truth is it’s not easy for anyone here PR or international students the hustle is real and I can’t relate to being an international student but here’s what I have to say. I’m PR but I can’t use my certificate to work I used my teaching experience to enter Canada but I have to go back to school to get my license to teach here and working with school my neck don almost cut commot. Thank God for my husband doing a good job cos e choke. My school has some free way but with school work knocking and my son needing attention and wifey duties how do I work more than the 20-30 hours extra I have in a week do I want to die ni🤣🤣 Wo I appreciate you for doing this video “LET HE WHO HAS EARS PLS LISTEN” Canada is sweet pls come if you have means but it’s not heaven you will work your ass off for the first few years before things start picking up no be by I get here and I start making the money e no be like that again o. I love this comment so much! Coming from someone with PR! People will think you are just lying… but it’s the truth! And I like how you said a few years down the line, it will pay off, but initially! You will work oh! And the work may not even cover everything!

I like your point about POF. I know someone who said she wished she had saved even more than her POF. some people just look at the amount and work towards it but for your peace of mind, i think it is better to save way more than they require.

I just wanted to say the last set of people who settled quickly with this japa race were people who left at the end of 2022. From January 2023, everywhere don red. I cannot relate at all because me I landed into Uk with just £300 and I got a job in 10 days. I paid my partners £15,000 tuition with that job. God is kind.

Even the recently increased POF for international students is not about wickedness. Cost of living is quite high, unemployment is at a higher rate as well. So that POF is actually needed for the transition period.

@@peacefulpeace2647 this is a very unfair statement because you dont know this person and you dont know her life, nowhere in this comment did she tell you she is waiting for a dream job, you just assumed and thats rather unfortunate and very unkind of you. I am letting you know that even that "ANY JOB" that you are talking about, is very scarce to see, i know someone that has been looking and applying for cleaner job and hasnt gotten anything yet. its not the same way it was before. Agreed, BC that you is the most expensive city in Canada, we were there in May stayed at downtown hotel for our cruise we were the only black in the hotel, the little kids were looking at us as if we were alien because it’s extremely expensive, please never compare united states to Canada that’s why BC and Toronto residents always go to US to shop, personally to escape the high Canadian taxes I pay cash

Even the issue of coming with your spouse, i like the fact that you said the spouse may not get a job within the next 5-6 months and you have to pay during this period. Even when your spouse gets the job, how much can your spouse save with an 16-19cad job to pay school fees of about 18k? Canada is good, but.. there are so many but now..

Even though I have transitioned from student to PR to Citizen, it hasn't come with its own challenges. It's not easy. I'll advise you to have your money complete.
