I applied for a 2 year program and I could already afford the tuition + books + medical insurance for the 2 years.. but then again the money is not going to cover up my other essential expenses.. rent, groceries etc.. so the plan is to pay for the first year's tuition and keep some of the 2nd year's (tuition) money for the expenses up until the summer break which would allow me to work enough hours to cover up for my 2nd year..hope that made sense.

Love this, personally for me I paid over $15000CAD for my 1st year, 2nd year - $17000. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and I sold my car in Jamaica before coming plus I had other savings that I took with me so I had my first year fee. And I worked OT when my course was on 4months break, for some courses that doesn't get that break it's a little difficult but as you said have the mind set, drive, determination and one will succeed

Victor, hmm am an international student in Canada and you can't work full-time on Campus except during break.
Some types, but if you are applying start early
Yh in some situations but it's depends on the school and when I say full-time not really full time cause the school knows that you are a students .

Yes offcourse you can. It’ll be nice if you actually go to a city dominated with POC. They will definitely be your main clientele. And you don’t just have to center your designing skills on them you can expand and explore other races.

Ok so you can work and pay your tuition but in order to get the study permit from one's country don't you have to show the Canadian embassy proof of funds, and prove that you have the tuition in your bank account already?
Yea you’ll have to do that but no one said the proof of funds must be in your name. Your relation or even a close family friend can be your sponsor.

Hello, please I got admission to university of Manitoba, how do I get secure accommodation?…. Also I heard Winnipeg is a small city can I get a outside Winnipeg that could pay me more above there minimum wage? I intend paying my school on arrival but is it possible to work little above 20hrs when schooling? Can I also put the admission on pending and work for about 7months save up and come back to start the schooling??

If you have the tuition and you need information on the visa requirements please give me idea on accommodation cost if the embassy such money in your account to get the visa. What about if you have a cousin in canada who is a citizen there and they can provide me accommodation.

Hiii I’d like to know if one has to convert the tuition fee from CAD to US dollars before paying or one has to just convert from CAD to home currency to pay.
It depends om the payment platform. For me, i paid my tuition using western union transfer. So i paid the equivalent of my school tuition in usd at the equivalent of my home currency ngn. Most payment platforms uses flywire payment platform and with this platform you can pay directly from your home country currency. But try to explore other platforms made available for the one that will be cheaper.

It all depends on the program you are plan on taking. A program might be expensive in a UBC but cheaper in UOT. So it varies
Memorial has a cheap tuition fee for masters but I think their admission is hard to get

Second tip: apply to schools in New Brunswick for a one-year program. You can apply for PR before the end of your program (3 months to the end). That's something they started late 2020.
