There is this theme that I never hear about, and that is duck/bird-core. Basically, it can be any theme, but with a bird twist. I’m currently working on a duck-core island and it’s called DuckieWood. In case u want to visit, just enter “DuckieWood” when dreaming. Just to make sure that ur visiting the right island, there are two other people besides me; villagers such as Winnie, Norma, Stella, Alice, Molly, and so on. 😊 And thanks for so many island themes that are featured in this video ❤
Thank you so much for both featuring my island in the sky and junglecore island! And look at all those other beautiful and unique themes! Especially loved the cyberpunk one, that one is so cool!
omg my current island is an abandoned city! i had never heard of anyone doing this theme before when i started it. but it’s such a cool theme and i feel like it’s kind of an out of the box idea, which makes decorating really fun because you have to be creative with the items you use and the areas you make! also it’s so fun to find abandoned, rusty codes and make everything look grimy haha.
Loved the vineyard theme, pastel kid core, meadow core, camp theme and abandoned. Ill definitely combine some of these on my own island. I would also suggest a 'Down under theme' - This includes the reddish dark dirt with wheat fields and outback tin sheds. A very Western Australian vibe would work.
I did a sort of pastel kidcore theme. I’ve made my island based off of memories from when I was a kid (about 4 to 13) and also things that I would have loved when I was a kid. It’s really nostalgic and I’ve just been letting my inner child out with the designs. It doesn’t matter if it looks good as long as it looks like something little me would have liked.
tysm fleurs for including my Christmas island featuring my bestie Static, such a great collection of islands, absolutely gobsmacked at the cyberpunk island! Mind blowing! 💙
I think my favorite themes are.. A Secluded Mountian Japanese Onsen Village where the hot springs even run along and under roads and bridges. And my second favorite is something I dubbed Villagercore because i couldnt find a name for it, your entire island is "split up" and designed after one of your villagers. Fairy, kid, elegant, coastal, all on one island but made so that the colors transition and doesnt look as if its just mashed together. Like working through all the transitioning colors of a row of perfectly laid out colored pencils. It gets really interesting depending on what villagers you have. Plus it gives you an excuse to get all different villagers that seemingly dont work together, it can be a challenge to transition from Raymond to someone like Marina and make it natural but the challenge makes it fun.
I like all the things multi theme is what I'm really interested in but I'm struggling with trying to be evenly spread out things and transition them smoothly will you make a video on that? Also I love your videos I watch them on a different account on my computer but they blocked the comments since it's a school computer so I'm writing to you on my phone
My island is multithemed and I use terraforming (levels) and rivers so the transition isn’t too noticeable. In my island in particular I have a forest theme on the highest layers (like if it were mountains) and city theme in the lowest. In the part that both touch; I created a small camping section that has elements of both and kind of makes sense to camp near the forest but not too far from the city
So if I were to do a certain them like farmcore but only use the in-game paths and no custom paths whatsoever, does that still count as normcore? Just curious as I don't use custom paths....
I don’t understand where some items are coming from. Like I never see stuff like moving cogs from the scientific one in any shops or anything. Is this modded on PC or something?
None of these are modded, all of them are available in the base game. They will be available from nooks cranny, the nook shopping app and hhp shop. Most people use treasure islands which you can find for free on youtube/twitch.
