I Don't Know Much About These Stage Customizations Was Into These Bikes Like 6-7 Months And These HD Engines Looks Damn Good. Buying A New Bike And Getting Stage 4 Is A Lot Expensive Right? So I Just Thought Why Not Buy A New Engine And Other Parts And Spare Parts And Build A New Motorcycle With New Parts.

Wow, so for $40,000 you can get a 120hp Roadglide 131ci, or for half the price, get the Indian Challenger that also has 120hp, HD is truly BONKERS, the Roadglide looks better, but not $20,000 better.
DennisH22A the VMAX is a liquid cooled 4 cylinder that makes max power at 9k rpm. This is an air cooled V twin. I’m sure somebody stuck a Lamborghini engine in a Harley once but that doesn’t mean that it’s a good idea or that I would want to own one!

3XR5 haha. You sound like an idiot yourself. The dude asked such a simple question, and War Horse even said it was a valid question. In your eyes the guy is “plain dumb” just for asking. You’re so cool...too cool for me. Ride on brotha 🤙🏻.
@3XR5 Your mullet looks dumb.
3XR5 you are fucking dumb. If you toured on your bike ( if you even have one) you would be concerned. But I guess not because you ( if you even have a touring bike) probably club hope and try to look cool. But your not. You are a fucking coward that hide behind a keyboard a bother real riders. Foh.
It's not about the horsepower. It's the torque that counts
Not bad for a factory spec engine WITH factory warrenty. Can't wait to see what these do once the tweakers get their grubs on them.
We're happy with the numbers for a warranted motor...it will be interesting for sure to see what some people who aren't worried about warranty are able to get out of this bad boy! Thanks for watching!
Are those before and after horsepower figures at the wheel or crank?
Since he was using a wheel dyno, it's at the wheel
Robert, really ???
Can this be done to a Low Rider S 114?
Great 'shop … a hive of Harley activity!
Thanks for watching!
Massive work shop
How long did you wait before running it on the Dyno ?
We made sure to put some break in miles on the motor before running it on the dyno!
Would have liked to see the dyno run start at 2,000 rpm but I'm guessing it's way over 100 lb/ft.
Thanks for making this great comparison video 👍🏻
We had fun doing it and look forward to making more performance videos in the future! Thanks for the kind words!
I’d still go with Zippers Performance- 124 sleeper kit . More torque similar hp and most likely more reliable long term .
Check them out if interested. They specialize in Harley high performance and have been doing it for decades.
Zippier...??? I'm sure the people at "Zippier" Performance are getting a chuckle out of that....lol..
ozzie444 fixed it 😊
Howd you get the 131 when they dont ship untill March?
Nvm I see your doing the se upgrade not the actual crate engine, my bad
Now don't get me wrong I love Harley Davidsons they're awesome bikes but to pay $30,000 for a fully equipped motorcycle and then have to pay another 10 or 15 grand for a motor upgrade just to increase the horsepower is crazy I have an 08 Suzuki c109 with 124 Factory horsepower and with just a few hundred bucks I got another 15 horsepower out of it and I'm only 6500 into it now I know it's not a Harley Davidson but I'm an individual and don't feel the need to be included into some kind of Club of acceptance plus Harleys are crazy money
plus you have to look mad all the time when you ride a harley...so exhausting
All I'm saying is, there's no replacement for displacement. HP fundamentals
WRENCH g boost!
Hey Is It Possible To Buy This 131 Performance Crate Engine And Buy The Rest Of Transmission And Other Parts And Build A Custom Motorcycle? Instead Of Buying The Complete Motorcycle For $20k And $6k For This Crate. What I Thought Is If I Buy This 131 Creat Engine For $6k And Other Parts For $10k And Build A Custom Design Bike. Is This Possible Or There's No Way Unless Buying A Used One For Cheap And Use The Parts And Build A Custom One? I Don't Know Much About These Stage Customizations Was Into These Bikes Like 6-7 Months And These HD Engines Looks Damn Good. Buying A New Bike And Getting Stage 4 Is A Lot Expensive Right? So I Just Thought Why Not Buy A New Engine And Other Parts And Spare Parts And Build A New Motorcycle With New Parts.
What's the exhaust on this
The 120r got more power than the 131.
yet a s&s 124 will still make more power with less displacement....
nick difference between non Epa and Epa compliant.
Yup was just thinking that.
Harley always pussy foots around.
Love my 124 though
Not to mention the SE kit is under full warranty... these guys know you’re gonna test the limits on these bikes... let’s be real here.
@@brycepace3498 EPA has them hog tied.
@@marconickolasgarces Actually they're counting on the opposite.
Can you do this to a 2020 low rider s?
Not yet...
Bad ass bike man
Thanks! It is definitely a sweet ride!
@@warhorseharley-davidson2214 you're welcome
Why standing beside bike for before test and sitting on bike for after test? Plus no equalized break in? Amateur hour or what? How about exact apples to apples next time!
When we did the initial Dyno pull there was no problem. After the upgrade we did a pull with the new motor and the rear wheel was hopping with the added HP and Torque so we did a pull with Brent sitting on it. We simply chose not to include all of that in the video to keep it short and to the point. There was a break-in we just didn't show it. We're here to do a full transparent test and nothing else. We didn't skew any numbers or hide anything. Thanks for your input and thanks for watching!
@@warhorseharley-davidson2214 looking at the dyno chart you showed for stock, you could see some tire hop/slip
Will a 131 ci. fit in a breakout?
@gemini232003 ok, thanks
Can this kit be installed on a 114 tri glide?
This kit can be installed on a 114 Tri Glide but unfortunately it won’t be under warranty.
@@warhorseharley-davidson2214 Is the labor of the install under warranty or is just pay and hope for the best lol
@@warhorseharley-davidson2214 why would it void the warranty?
Wish it would fit under a HD trike.
Nice engine though.
Hi friends, I have a motorcycle review channel in Spanish. I'm Mexican. Could you use part of your video for a review of the new 131 engine?
Thanks for checking! We like to keep all our content original and in house so we can't currently release any of our footage! Thanks for watching!
Why dont all Harleys come from the factory with the 131? I'm a girl and ride a K1600B with a Remus exhaust and it's sad to see my girlfriend's on their Harleys struggling to keep up. I am aware of the culture of Harley Davidson and they are beautiful pieces of machinery but they gotta step up their game. The ride the lighting the performance is all dated.
come ride with me on my Harley 138ftlbs 134 hp
Sounds rad. Atleast the performance is there. If the handling of those chassis could get a noticeable update i wouldn’t have gone back to indian. Shame cause harleys paint is way better to gawk at.
Make it stock from the factory
Never going to happen for so many reasons.
Sweet but I would not use that cam , I have a Tq cam that sounds way better then that, 18 Heritage Classic
Crazy the T-man 128" makes more HP/TQ.
Is it epa compliant ?
John any aftermarket big bore kit will make more. But most aren’t epa compliant, and none have a warranty.
Yeah it’s just the screamin eagle epa tune restricting the AFRs
0 day warranty. Good luck
Lots of twin cam 117 ‘s making way more than that
Wow, so for $40,000 you can get a 120hp Roadglide 131ci, or for half the price, get the Indian Challenger that also has 120hp, HD is truly BONKERS, the Roadglide looks better, but not $20,000 better.
Stage 4 103 can make them numbers
My friend, and your Uncle John would it be so proud of you If he was still with us. Peace, "Snipe"
Hello Snipe. I was a BT on LPD/AGF 11... Persian Gulf Canoe Club 82-83 Forward MMR
This is almost 2.2 litres. Put a Vmax 1800 motor in one of these baggers, you'll be running 9s
I have to agree with you on the v max 1800 motor, it would probably blow the doors off the 131 big bore kit. Besides that's a lot of money for a motorcycle, let alone a Harley.
We're seeing a shift going on with HD right now
They are definitely not the same I am a old school biker and when I walked in the dealership they thought I was some kind of freak. all of them in their nice pretty button up shirts.

Would that still be 108 miles an hour top speed
Unless you disable the limiter, the top speed is limited to 110. We're keeping this bike under factory warranty so we did not disable the limiter. Thanks for watching!
I realize that's a lot of torque, but seriously, it still only makes about the same HP as a Japanese 600cc bike? I think it's stay stock and if I wanted speed I'd buy something built to go fast.
Jim Bennett How many 600cc bikes make over 120 hp? Which ones?
@@MadLadsAnonymous, well off the top of my head that's the 2015 to 2017 Suzuki GSX-R600. It makes 125 hp (93 kW) @ 13,500 rpm and that's to the wheel, not at the crank ;-) most of the newer 600s make at least 110 rear wheel hp 120hp isn't unusual at all anymore.
Jim Bennett interesting! I know the CB650R makes like 94 at the crank. Sounds like you're referring to SS class bikes? Thanks for the clarification.
@@MadLadsAnonymous, oh yeah, I should of have mentioned that. They've been really getting stronger since everything is fuel injected now. A lightly tuned GSX-R a friend of mine had put out 159hp on a dyno pull at bike week last year. That thing will run with his stock Yamaha R1.
That's a lot of power for a bagger but if you pull up on let's say something like a yamaha v max it's still going to eat your lunch, and ask for seconds.
Still gets crushed by a stock rocket 3
It should...3 cylinder vs two cylinders big difference..
@@johnkolinoff8591 the twin should have more tq then shouldn't it? By that theory, any 4 banger should have more hp then.... however that isn't the case. Bet that 130 in a FXDR would crush an R6 or GSXR600. Let's just agree that HD is way overpriced and has really fallen with build quality

@Mod Zozer mid 14s just a guess
That will be just great until3 weeks after the warranty expires and the price of shit pressed on fly wheel system shifts and runs the cases destroys the oil pump and plays here on the cam chest yeh might be big numbers but if you buy to keep for long times look at Indian. Or you could go the economy route and by an used evo or if you realy want to sound good go with a shovel that is what I did always had a special spot for the this is my 3rd not as fast as my twin rap but still fast enough to get a ticket
So, skip the 131 upgrade on my 117, and go with a shovelhead... because you did. Allrighty then.
