When I used to be a touring musician. I used to use 2 tube screamers in tandem one for grit and the other for boost.and then you put them booth on at the same time. The greatest sound you will ever hear.

I had them both Velcrod to a 7inch by 7inch piece of plywood.i had that plugged into a vox wah. I had that system plugged into a 65 reissue twin reverb. Playing through that was like hearing the voice of God. Lol

I have both as well but I seem to be able to tweak either to get good sounds. I like them both. My favorite is probably a Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive because it can clean boost or add in clean tone with the overdrive.
@@bmphil3400 I have the TS9DX with the turbo modes and all that. It’s alright, the TS9 mode isn’t quite a TS9 but the turbo mode works so well for an edge of break up amp.
I used to have the SD-1 on my board, but switched to the Ibanez JD-9 Jet Driver. Basically a TS-9 with a mid cut/boost. I've also had the SD-2 Dual Overdrive since 94ish. I've made the mistake of taking it off the board a couple times, but always come back to it.
Tube Screamers and most other overdrives really work best when you try to not hear them and basically use them as a little bit of spice to liven an amp up. I swear by my MXR Wylde Overdrive, it pushes my rythm channel into such a nice crunch and gets dialed back and used as a boost on my lead channel the way most people use a TS.
Solid pedal for sure but theres no need for a short youtube video to have these many views just to see a pair of sagging tits on top of an instrument, if this was a man the video would never get to 100 thousand views, this got to 1.5 million in less then a week
