This was a great video for me. I’m not able to view the brushes in person and it can sometimes be a challenge to find the right one with so many to choose from. Not to mention photos can only show so much. Seeing it in hand and all in one video helps tremendously. I can only imagine how much work it took to do this. I very much appreciate it.
You're welcome! I'm glad you found this helpful! If you have any brushes you'd like direct comparisons of let me know. I'll write then down to do for my next visit.
Thank you a ton for these Hakuhodo videos, they are so helpful! I finally got a chance to go through all of them, took some good notes, I will do some more research and maybe I will have the perfect wish list 😃!
I'll be completely honest, I know for a fact you're more knowledgeable about the info in my videos than I am due to your notes! I'm very "use it or lose it" once I'm done making the video, I don't remeber what I said and I don't watch my own videos unless I have to because I dislike hearing myself talk in a recording 😅
Hi, Thank you for the video, can you recommend top 3 basic hakuhodo eye makeup brushes with natural hair? I would ideally like to get only 3 and i mainly do soft smoky eye with 3-4 colours. I have slightly hooded eyes. The decision fatigue is way too strong. 😅 Thank you!
You're welcome! PS: have you ever seen the old website? It used to be more difficult to shop and find the brushes you wanted. A nice feature of the current website is the ability to filter by function, series and bristle type.
Hi, thank you for your comprehensive review. Did you review the j232? Wasn’t sure if it is big enough to target highlight compared to the j511. Looking for a small angled highlight brush. Will you review the k series and ougi Maru brushes?
17:32! Used on its wide side, you will get a very precise highlight where you will have to do some work to blend the edges. Great for nose and browbone for sure though. I looove the j5522 for target highlight if you are open to a non angled brush suggestion! If not, the j/b series face video shows one small angled highlight brush. And one small angled brush in the g series video if you don't mind mixed bristles. I will be doing the k, ougi, kebo and all the rest of the series eventually!
Thank you I just received the j5522 because of your review. I also received the F6440 and it is now my perfect highlight brush. But you can’t have too many brushes. Thinking about the j511 or the mix hair equivalent. Saw the face brush omg that j531 thinking about that one!
@@Msdeexoxo 531 is a great brush for sure. I agree with you about having too many brushes being a problem. I had two 531's and thought to myself "this is too many" so i reluctantly destashed one
These Hakuhodo videos have been fantastic. Sooo helpful to navigate the collections. Thanks so much for doing them!

Great video! Thank you for your hard work. So helpful to see the brushes in hand than just in a picture on the website.
So glad you find these helpful 😊

great video, i am watching all your videos now as I discovered you.. and I love brushes. Do you work at Hakuhodo by any chance?
Is the background Hakuhodo showroom? :O
Yup! Special permission to film at their showroom 😊
